Interesting church in the heart of cork near the English market. Lots of cool history of some of the priests that have lived here as well

What can l say about this church... it is quite sad to see that the majority of people who attend Mass are in the senior citizen OAP category. But its a beautiful church and the singing at Mass even during the week is so uplifting.

I had first saw this church on a website with images, and from outside, looked very modern, so I wasn't going to go to it during my visit. However, I was visiting the nearby St. Francis' Church, and had to walk up Washington Street anyway, so I decided to have a look inside. The entrance porch didn't impress (it was just a modern, white room) What was inside, blew me away. I had never saw the inside of the church before, so wasn't expecting much. What I got was a HUGE church, and a gorgeous one at that. I'd highly recommend visiting this church, if that's what you're in to.

This is one of the most beautiful Churches in Ireland. The Priests and Clergy are always on hand and are very cheerful. I love the Holy Mass there.

Beautiful Catholic Church in the heart of the city run by the Augustinian order. Masses are livestreamed

A wonderful hospital remembrance Mass was held here. The church was full to capacity. The hospital staff did a superb job with it. And the various clergy supported it fully. A candle was given to each family. Beautiful singing, reading, prayers, rituals and each person's name who had passed away during the year was read out. It was really lovely and will console and provide comfort to the nearest and dearest. A big thank you.

This is a lovely church. It is very big, and there are beautiful statues of various saints all around the church. I am always reminded when I go there of when I was a child and my Mum used to bring me in to say a prayer and light a candle at the Mother of Good Counsel Shrine.

Beautiful church in the heart of the city. Very deceitful from the outside on size, more like a cathedral on the inside with the depth of the aisle and the height of the ceiling. St. Augustine's church also caters for the large Polish community in the greater cork city and suburbs.
