Great place to shop and hangout. Tesco is there for major shopping. Restaurants are there for food. Good space to sit and clean washrooms are present.

A greatly big and known shopping centre with lots of very good shops. I always go here for my groceries as there is a big selection of where to go, for example Tesco and m&s. Great place to go if you need to go shopping for clothes, great variety for clothes for example tkmaxx. They have recently added a new food court in the centre of the building on the ground floor it has lots of different options and lots of seats.

Bustling shopping centre with some good retail outlets and coffee shops. Really festive at the moment with some great fashion shops, a Craft Shop, Cork City FC merchandise shop, great cafes and food court as well M&S and Tesco.

Pretty big shopping complex. There is plenty of free customer's parking and toilets. Plenty places to eat and drink. TK Maxx and Tesco stores are also located here. P/S, this is my new update on 28th December 2023.

We had our first collection since pre covid today at Douglas, we are a small animal rescue in North cork , Pauline's Rescue . Dan the center manager was lovely, he welcomed us in to the center and we had a great day meeting people with our beautiful rescue dogs Thank you for facilitating us , we look forward to returning.

You have a good selection of shops and Tesco. You also have a library on site. The only thing that I'm not keen on is the carpark. The layout if awful.

Lovely centre, the new food court area is a wonderful idea! Lots of choice and it fills in some open space. Still a lot of vacant units, I hope it will fill even more. Tesco, Petstop, TKMaxx and Marks and Spencer are the best shops here in my opinion.

Compact but has Dunnes Stores, Dealz, The Works, a couple of pharmacies and some clothes shops. Good for a weekly visit but not a major clothes shopping outing. Plenty of parking.

Good car park. Spacious center. Selection of stores is poor. A good few empty units. That's probably a sign of the times unfortunately

Douglas Shopping Center has become our go-to destination for a well-rounded shopping experience. Tesco serves as a reliable spot for groceries, offering a diverse selection. The presence of a farmers market adds a delightful touch, providing fresh produce and local goods. TK Maxx adds a flair of fashion and variety, making it convenient for clothing and accessories. The book exchange is a hidden gem, offering a diverse collection for avid readers. The center's diverse offerings cater to a range of needs, making it a one-stop destination. The convenience of having multiple stores in one location, coupled with the variety of choices, has solidified Douglas Shopping Center as our preferred shopping hub. It truly encapsulates the essence of convenience and variety for our shopping needs.

Hard to find parking, had to keep going around & round & walked back & asked security guard & he told me where entrance was but I never saw it. Just an average indoor shopping mall with a Tesco Extra in it

  • 5/5 Feárgus O. 9 months ago on Google
This is the area I grew up , so always have good memories in and around here , The shopping Center has all you need tbh and good parking options

  • 2/5 Alex J. 9 months ago on Google
I nearly used a whole tank of petrol trying to find the entrance. I'm sure there's signs but the insane amount of traffic will ensure that you'll miss them and the road system would give Bangkok a run for it's money. If you're not familiar with the area avoid it. There's little help and easier places in Cork.

Its nice to have it reopened again. Parking isn't too bad, and the shops are good. A few are currently empty and it would be good to see some more local businesses in there too. It's good to have a small center as this available.

  • 5/5 Joy-Elizabeth B. 2 years ago on Google
After its refurbishment and reopening, its still a great place to go shopping, with loads of smaller shops as well as the best Tesco in Cork. Superb public toilet facilities. Great fully undercover free parking area.

The one star rating is for two banks opposite each other on the main street. The service was was most unsatisfactory. They are letting down the customers that support the locally run businesses in the vicinity. It must be frustrating for the local traders if they are having this experience on an ongoing basis.

There is something about this shopping center I just cannot take to. The anchor tennant Tesco is the same as every other Tesco anywhere. The shopping Mall itself is not very interesting or impressive. The opportunity to re-model or re-design following the fire was an opportunity missed in my opinion. The best comment I can offer is the parking is good but in future I think I will turn left at the lights instead of turning right.

As small shopping centres go, this is excellent with good parking and very good shops And it's got a branch of the public library.

Tk Maxx and Tesco are the 2 best shops there IMO and there is plenty of places to grab some food and coffee.

  • 5/5 Brian O. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place but the manager of the CEX is constantly hitting on me. Don't get me wrong, he's handsome and I'm flattered, but I just want Call of Duty World at War on the Xbox 360.

Could do with more selection of shops. More variety would be great. Lovely selection of coffee shops. A great big tesco which is fab but couldn't find anywhere downstairs to get a trolley. Very smooth escalators and lifts. Fab size toilets and great facilities.
