So i went to petstop today as I always do for my dogs favorite treats. Only today I was buying 2 coats 1 medium and 1 large for the charity DAWGS winter coat appeal for coats for their kennel rescue dogs. I bought 2 fabulous coats and the store gave me a brilliant discount. I always go here and find the staff amazing anyway but this act of kindness blew me away. thank you so much pets top and the staff of petstop 👏👏👏👏

I used to be a equipet person but one day when i was in smyths for christmas l saw petstop. at first l thought its a bit small but as soon as l went in there there prices are better, better quality stuff, more stuff, SUCH NICE STAFF, WAY better then equpet and such a nice manager. his name is roger, he will always have a laugh with you. but one time some teenagers started making noises and annoying people and roger who acted like the hero told them off and they ran. l will never forget that day and what a person he is. lf l could i would give 10 stars here and 0 stars equipet

I visited with my wife and our pampered pooch recently. We were greeted with some delightful staff. They offered us great advice and we bought a lovely lead, delicious looking dog food and left with a few doggie treats also. Top marks to the staff and management. Ruff ruff

Absolutely disgusting. In the area with the fish, my 3 year old daughter found 7 dead fish on the floor. Some were obviously stepped on so much they had been mushed in. If there was an inspection it would have been shut down immediately. There was 3 dead fish in the tanks. Absurd hygiene.

Was in here Sunday and met by a female staff member with glasses who has a serious attitude problem,I asked for a particular item which it took both her and her colleague considerable time to find,I asked a basic question and was met with aggressive stance and behaviour,she gave me completely wrong advice regarding substrate and did nothing to enhance my visit.I was actually going to buy alot in here but actually left after the way this person behaved ,if she doesn't like working with the public she should take herself and her poor attitude somewhere else .Thank God Hanleys is just across the road and I can get all I need there without the tones and bad attitude 👎

Has all you need. The only animals you can buy are fish. Each time I've asked about fish the staff have always had helpful info. Can get everything you need for food, toys and worming tablets.

Quality products, good selection (even for more exotic pets) and customer service, comparable prices. I've shopped here 7+ years. I shop online with them too, especially to get big bags delivered to the house (usually next day).

Arrived at ten to 9 with two big dogs scheduled to be washed for 9. The minute we pulled up we got a call to say it was cancelled. Had to drive home with them and then drive back into Gorey for work which made mean hour late.

I waited 20 minutes in a huge queue outside the large store by the kinsale roundabout today. Suffice to say I had to leave there were 5 people in front of me and I couldn’t wait any longer. I appreciate that we all have to practice social distancing but surely we can do this inside the shop? It seems large enough... I asked the lady working there how many people are they letting into the store at any one time, she said 15. There was no sign outside to inform the people in the queue. And I think that number is including staff. Supermarkets and other shops aren’t making customers queue outside so why is pet stop?

Went to buy dome fish at 12.15...fish section closed until 2pm...why??

I went here looking for a particular kitten food for my mum's new kitten. There was 2 girls inside the counter that were much too busy talking bout there social lives rather then help me when I asked them . I would have walked out if I was shopping for myself. However when I looked around the store , I found a lovely HELPFUL guy that was more then happy to come up to the isle & show me the right food to get for this particular breed of kitten. I went to maxi zoo afterwards and what a difference, all staff were out on the floor serving customers and were Soo lovely, couldn't fault any of them. I will be going there from now on.

Since the renovation, this store is so much nicer. Its very clean and has a wide variety of items for all pets including small rodents and reptiles. Live fish also here ranging from fresh to tropical and live aquarium plants sold too.

Kerry in the Cork branch was fantastic, she knows her stuff and her live of animals especially fish really showed. It really makes a difference when you interact with someone who is interested in what they do.

I haven't been in here for awhile for fish ,there was a very nice lad working there , he seemed to know alot about his area but also wasn't afraid to say if he didnt know( which sometimes is more important).
