Wow, after 15 years of wearing contact lenses every single day, seeing everything clearly from the moment I wake in the morning is surreal! I think I put off having laser eye surgery because I was nervous about the procedure but the staff at Optilase were great. The procedure is so quick! The support offered, with 24/7 emergency call number if I had any concerns, was very reassuring. Also, the convenience of having the procedure here in Cork, rather than having to go to Dublin was a huge plus. I wish I did this 15 years ago! I had a successful surgery at Optilase Cork in January 2017 (or 2016) and the staff could not have been more attentive and professional. Follow up was seamless and I was initially delighted with the results. However, this year I felt my eyesight had started to regress again and arranged a consult after providing a fresh opticians review. I had the consult in Cork and again the service was second to none. I did receive one call immediately after the consult, but I have made a number of calls and not had a chance to speak to anybody to discuss my options going forward. This is the only fault I would say about the service and welcome some follow up as a result of this review. Best regards.
