City center park with abundant shady benches, lots of people using & traversing it, placid & friendly winos who generally don’t cause mayhem. Bar next door & coffee shops in vicinity. Recommended.

Park gathers a lot of alcoholic and addicted people mostly They should be more clean and tidy and children free playing areas would be great in the city centre

Cute park with nice benches. Some shenanigans going on but felt safe sitting down with a coffee and a roll. Wish there were some covered benches though.

I avoid this park as it unkept and safety is an issue. It is an embarrassment when visitors “experience” our most central city park.

This December, there's a great display of Christnas lights in the theme of the 'Twelve Days of Christmas ' for kids and kids at heart in the park. Though it was very cold when we visited the lights looked so good in the dark. This is a production every December called "Glow".

A nice area in the centre of Cork City. Can be an area of undesirables but they are all very harmless. Not too much to see or do here, but a place to rest your weary legs

It's a nice spot to sit and enjoy a bit of quiet and maybe some lunch, unless there's some lads blaring dubstep

Cork is starved of green spaces in the city centre. Cleaning staff struggle to keep the place tidy but they do well. On a warm day it is lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Mind where you sit, that you don't land on pigeon or dog poo.

Nice green spot in the Centre of Cork City! Fabulous place to come to have your lunch and be still in the City! Not too far from all shops Restaurants Cafes and right across the Road from English Market entrance. Fine place to chill by yourself or with someone! Always patrolled by Security for extra safety! Nicely decorated for the Festive season of Christmas! Used to belong to the Church! All age groups use this Park!

The glow experience could have had music, the Surgeon Noonan gang were singing, but squashed into one section. The theme of 12 days of Xmas wasn't apparent til the end, so the walk through made no sense. If anything, it starts backwards. The girl mooing at us and another with the gold rings..seriously underdeveloped themes. V unprofessional.

👍👍 The park is vast and beautiful. There are rabbits that can be found while walking if lucky. River Lee passes next to the park and is just breathtaking...

😐 This is an interesting and badly needed resource for Cork City. The walk starts at Cork Dump and runs alongside the link road which can make it a little noise polluted unfortunately. The start of the walk incorporates a little municipal fitness area. This is a nice touch. Informative little signs...

😐 Overall this is the best park in Cork. If you have children or want to meet friends, have a picnic, play a sport, this is the place to come! During the summer they have some events that are free and worth coming to!! Just be aware like in any place in Cork there’re no toilets or they are not worki...

👍👍 From here there is a magnificent view of the city. People relax and socialize. There are no cafés, it is not commercialized but left to the citizens to enjoy.
