Fr. Whooley is such a lovely priest. A historical church in a fantastic parish in the heart of the city on the South Bank of the river Lee. Definitely worth a visit to light a candle, say a prayer.

It was closed when I got there, just after 5:30 or 6pm on a weekday in early October. I don't like churches from a religious point of view because I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses & I believe they are false religion but I look at a lot of religious buildings on my travels & so do other witnesses of the true God Jehovah (or Yahweh or YHWH, ... in other languages) I appreciate the amount work that went into building these incredible buildings & the God fearing, honest hearted people who have attended over the centuries. I came here in particular to see where my father was baptised 109 years ago !

I really like this church for its art and sculpture and I visited yesterday for a few quiet moments and to remember friends and family recently deceased and light a few candles
