Cork Airport is very good airport and its a credit to the staff as they are so courteous, friendly and attentive. They will help you with any issue that you may have and get you to where you are going no matter what! In recent years I've see the airport grow and it is steadily getting more destinations which is great as it is a super handy airport to fly from! It would be great to get some more direct United States flights however, you can get a connecting flight to the US no bother through Cork and I honestly don't know why I haven't used it more when its so close by! The duty free shop has a wide range of Irish products like many Irish airports and the WHSmith store is great for getting any snacks or last minute present or csouvenirs that you may need! There are two lovely restaurants in the airport after the security control and I have gotten the full Irish Fry many times while passing through. I believe one of these restaurants "Food Republic" seems to be closed. This may have only been the case on the day I was in the airport. I know that AMT coffee do nice hot drinks and sweet treats. The staff there are lovely and helpful. They are are worth stopping bye if you have time before you fly. There is also a great bar located at the end of the airport terminal which is the other restaurant within the terminal. They serve great food and have great options to drink from! I do not know if they are opened or closed as I did not have the time to make my way down to that end of the airport before my flight. Utilities wise, there are some phone and laptop charging points located next to some but not all of the seats in the departure area. Its worth checking to see if the plugs are working as I noticed the socket that I tried wasn't working however, I had enough battery power so I was not too concerned. This may not be the case in your situation and the last thing you want to do is plug in, sit down while waiting for your flight to only realise after some time has passed that the socket wasn't working. The airport is very accessible and it is located outside Cork City just up the hill from the South Ring's Kinsale Road Roundabout. If you don't drive you can get one of the many buses that frequent the airport on their route or if you choose to drive you can park your car in the adjacent carparks close by! You can also get a taxi from the city which is not too expensive and they will drop you off right outside of the terminal! Its worth noting that the airport feels very secure as the security personnel and the airport police are always walking and driving around which is reassuring!

Very accessible and convenient airport. Security staff were very polite and helpful and the controls were very fast. The only downside is that at the moment the only two restaurants in the airport after the security control are closed and the coffee shop wasn’t open for the 2 hours I was there so apart from light snacks in the newsagents, there is no food available. The duty free shop has a wide range of Irish products which is great.

Fastest security I have ever been through. Awesome. Limited choice of food in the airport but AMT coffee seemed to be the best. 500ml water for €1 was the best thing about the airport.

I landed for the first time at this airport from London Stansted Airport. It was a smooth trip, and the security was very fast. The only downside for me is that immigration stamped our passports, something that other airports that we visited did not do. The baggage carousel was relatively quick, and the pick-up at the airport was easy.

A very quick and easy airport to get through. Off the plane and out within 5 minutes. No wait at security at all. Good size duty free. Plenty of seats as it's a small airport with not many flights. A note that after security there are not many shops but there is a lounge. They do close at 21:00 so bare that in mind. Would fly here again.

This is a very smooth airport to travel through. There are plenty of facilities here. Upon arrival to the terminal there are better choices for eating and coffee before security. After security there are more limited options for food and drink. Overall this airport is very travel friendly and the security staff are amazing here very friendly and nice unlike staff in Dublin Airport. There is also short term parking, long term parking and currency exchange services however currency exchange is in the arrivals hall. There is also a small duty free shopping available and book shop available.

I found the security personnel and staff at Aer Lingus and Budget car rental to be friendly and efficient. Currently the airport feels underused with facilities like Food Republic closed . I however found excellent coffee at AMT coffee I also appreciated the phone and laptop charging points next to some, but not all, seats in the departure lounge.

Security was a little slow at 6 am in the morning... but this is a cosy airport compared to many. The Full Irish Breakfast hit the mark before flying.

I’ve been to Dublin, Shannon and cork airport. I’d say I love cork airport everything is so quick and tidy. I come 40mins before flight and yet make it easily.

Nice calming experience. Eventhough it is quite a small airport, flying in and out of here is a breeze. So quick and efficient compared to other airports I have flown through. Very well organised and the signage is very easy to follow.

Best airport in Ireland . Easy to get n and out . You can get the bus outside the door to go to cork or kinsale. If you have an empty bottle of water they will refill it for free filtered .

Smaller airport with minimal services. Layout straightforward and most things are easy to find. Waiting area quite narrow and warm when sunny. Fairly clean. Infrastructure and roads good and signs easy to find and read. In hall at ground floor car rentals full left upon arrival. Walk to cars is in the open and europcar is the the far end of the lot.

Very nice airport, ample parking, taxi rank, pick up and drop off point. The Loop where you can buy duty free goods is only small but seemed well stock with gifts and alcohol. Plenty of seats at the gates while waiting for your flight.

Nice airport. quick to get through security. nice selection of bits in duty free. Drove 2.5 hours in the AM, expecting to get breakfast at the airport, only to find all the food places / bars closed. Only option was buy a grim overpriced chicken roll from a slow pop up shop. Waited 10 minutes for that roll to heat up and 2 lattes. €15 for the lot 😩 came back , was Parked in the short term. Only there for 1 day and 10 hours…. €35 euro. rip off Ireland for you.

Cork Airport is easy to navigate, efficient, and has very friendly staff. The Aspire Lounge opens at 5 am, and had hot and cold breakfast options.

Had a lovely peaceful time in Cork airport after being dropped off early for a flight. Spacious, bright, two nice cafes pre departures, other seating areas and quiet working area. Literally best airport I've ever been to!

A nicely designed airport with easy access to everything. No proper bar downstairs is a bit of a drawback as it forces you to go through security as soon as you arrive, which is not good for the wellbeing of people who smoke. Security is quick and well managed and hopefully with the new technology of different liquid recognition systems, which are now in place in other airport securities about the country, when they do activate it here, the security times and stress levels will reduce even more. The main bar inside the boarding gates area has very little choice in the way of food. Might be one to research.

Fantastic little airport, everything is close and you don’t far to travel for anything. Came straight out of arrivals and hire car desk right in front of you. Everyone very helpful, on return the whole process was so easy. No maddening queues and crowds of people to negotiate. Duty free was well stocked and the whole airport was quite a pleasant experience.

Very easy to check in friendly and helpful staff. The airport is clean spacious lots of taxis and transport to and from Cork airport. Very helpful taxi services. Great pilots with Ryan air.

I have it 3 stars because of the speed of getting through security etc...other than that I have nothing good to say. The departure area was absolutely filthy, rubbish left on seats and empty glasses left everywhere. It was good that that had charging ports on the seats, but most of them don't work. Like I said, staff in the airport are amazing, but I think you need to employ new cleaners, because the cleanliness was non existent

Dropping my sister off to the airport, bigger than I thought. Clean and fast service. Check in and bag drop was 5mins then we relaxed till she had to go. Staff were lovely. Car parking was easy too.

Cork Airport is a very nice, clean and easy airport. No drama at check-in or security and staff are always friendly. Nice cafes and enjoyable atmosphere. No long distances to cover to the gates and if you need assistance, you'll be in good hands. Excellent Airport!

Needed help with a flat battery, and was helped in the most professional and friendliest way possible! Great service after a somewhat shocking return from vacation! Thank you for taking the stress out of it!!!
