The staff were so helpful, especially with my friend and her small baby. They even asked if they should turn down the music for him. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. One of the chefs/owners came down to speak to us about the ethos too which we loved. Thank you for a lovely experience. Looking forward to going back again 🌟

Easily the most incredible dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been vegan for 5 years and have never experienced such amazing food. My partner and I both ate for under €50 and the chef came out to chat with us twice. He has an incredible talent for cooking and clearly is very passionate about what he does. The vegan cheesecake was also absolutely to die for. I can’t say enough good things about this place, highly highly recommend.

Traditional Italian pizza and pasta made fresh to order with Irish ingredients, bar tomatoes and wine. Incredibly elevated vegetarian and vegan ingredients, with a focus on sustainability. The pasta and pizza tastes more doughy (the pizza dough is proofed for 48 hours). The chocolate mousse is exquisite with a layer of ganache and cookie crust base. Limited seating, so booking is essential. Wonderful service and friendly staff.

Great time eating delicious food at this restaurant!Pizza and past were fabulous, you can taste their super fresh ingredients! I was so surprised to find in cork an authentic homemade pasta, really well-done! Two italian owners are lovely, chatty, and super dedicated to their innovative ideas!! The staff Fernanda, Julia and Nadia were excellent, not only waitresses, but a positive plus for this place. Atmosphere welcoming and cozy(totally in love with their vynils): I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back again! Dining in sonflour wasn't just a lunch but a real italian experience!

Great vegetarian pizza and pasta place! I had the linguine with Normal People sauce. It was super flavorful with eggplant, pesto and walnuts. My wife had the sweet potato ravioli with a red sauce and my son had the Earth pizza. Both were amazing. The Vinyl 45 starter was unassuming but full of flavor.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sonflour for my birthday and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was executed with excellence and it's safe to say this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. First and foremost, the food was outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail that went into each dish. The menu offered a great range of options to suit all tastes, and I was particularly impressed with the creativity and innovation demonstrated in some of the more unique dishes. The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were able to make excellent recommendations and always seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely - warm and welcoming, with tasteful decor that added to the overall experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Sonflour enough. It's clear that the team here is passionate about food and hospitality, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. Whether you're looking for a special occasion spot or just a great meal out, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!!

Holy mother of God! Italian pizza, with fresh local ingredients and heavenly baked: what else could you ask for? Everything is amazing here, from the food to the service. The wine, all natural, organic and Italian is amazing as well.

We absolutely adore this place! It's evident that great effort goes into providing guests with an exceptional culinary experience. The way dishes are described on the menu tantalizes the taste buds even before the first bite, setting high expectations that are consistently met. Hands down, this is some of the best food in town.

Loved it here! Definitely recommend booking ahead of time like we did! Staff were lovely and very helpful, wish I got her name but she gave us some great suggestions for places around Cork which was lovely :) the food wowwww we are both vegan which left an abundance of options, the pasta tasted fresh and all the ingredients were sublime. Definitely recommend to vegans or just anyone in the mood for great food :)

We found this place by chance, and it was amazing! Great service, the food was made fresh to order (even the pasta!) and everything was delicious. We loved the ravioli with walnut and truffle sauce, and the tiramisu!! Highly recommend, even if you are not vegan!!

This restaurant is simply amazing! Hands down one of the best in Ireland. We went there as a couple and everything was absolutely fantastic - the staff, the food and drinks. They really know how to pay attention to the little things and it adds so much to the overall experience. Huge thanks to the owners and the staff for bringing this incredible restaurant to Cork!

Lovely, cozy and friendly atmosphere with remarkable background music. Best fresh pasta I ever had. Cheesecake was nice and smooth, vine was really good (red primitivo). The boys in the kitchen definitely leave their souls on every dish they prepare. It was all over amazing experience and I can’t wait to visit them again!

Our new favorite restaurant in Cork! Have been 3 times now and it has been consistently good every time. Great for veggie and vegan friends but also just great for anyone who loves fresh focaccia and pastas! Also a nice selection of wine to pair with your meal. The staff are lovely, including the chefs who visits your table if they are not swamped. Would highly recommend!

The food and service here were both exceptional. The pasta dishes were delicious. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were fresh and full of flavour without the use of meat or parmesan - this is very hard to find in Italian restaurants in Cork. The service was also fantastic, one of the chefs came to the table to talk through the menu and answer any questions on the wine list. I have to mention the value also - the mains here are ~20% cheaper than other Italian restaurants while being 1000% better quality. Could not recommend this place enough!!

Beautiful vegetarian food, light in feel but not lacking in portion size. I had their garlic focaccia and version of linguine arrabbiata, and would definitely book in Sonflour before my next visit to Cork. The booking system loses a service star for me as it took me quite a long time to do online and wouldn’t be accessible for lots of people (sorry) but the staff are so so nice and voluntarily go over everything in every detail you need. In a city where I haven’t had a huge amount of luck with veggie food so far (same old falafels excluded) these guys are absolutely flying the flag, and I hope they manage to get a bigger venue at some point, they deserve it and more people deserve the fortune to try their food!

I loved the smell of fresh pesto and flour the second I walked in. Could instantly tell that I was in for a quality meal. The food is delicious and freshly made with clear care and passion. Will be back to try the rest of the menu, but the ravioli was so good I'm not sure I can bring myself to not order it again the next time...

If you want to eat well in Cork, then you are in the right place! Sunflour offers beautiful and delicious meals, something that you can not find in any other place. You can eat particular dishes based on Italian cuisine. Everything is carefully prepared by the two chefs, Eugenio and Lorenzo, in a warm and cosy atmosphere. We ate 2 types of ravioli, the linguine with pistacchio sauce and 2 types of gluten-free black rice. Followed we chose 3 types of pizza and the Italian farinata. It's difficult to find a pizza better than this... even in Italy 😉 Last but not least, desserts and the Italian espresso! For sure, the best lunch that we had in Cork! Hope to be back soon!

I have been 3 times in this place and I love it. I'm Italian and I can confirm you, the Chefs are Italian and the food is great! Great pizzas, greats hand made pasta and great sauces. Delicious dessert! I love their wines. Good money for good quality! You won't regret it!

Really friendly staff were more than happy to help me decide what to eat as everything on the menu sounded delicious. Hands down the best garlic foccacia going. The wine is all fantastic as well. Everything was very reasonably priced, I left feeling full and satisfied.

Can't recommend highly enough. We've visited a couple of times and the food is always delicious and well prepared, and the service really fast and friendly. Real gem of a restaurant. Make sure to book in advance as it's a small space which is deservedly very popular.

We had an amazing dinner here last night everything was delicious the fresh pasta was perfect and the bread was so fluffy and delicious, the prátaí special was so unique and flavourful we loved it. Everything tasted so fresh and good quality. Great to find somewhere doing Italian vegan food, we'll definitely be back the service was also excellent!

True gem. I can’t stress enough how intimate this place is. The attention to detail. The flavours. The textures. Everything by is perfect. I just hope they’ll be able to withstand a natural entropy of restaurants operating in Cork.

Incredibly tasty no waste Italian restaurant with pasta made fresh to order (without eggs). The pizza is made from 2 day fermented sourdough. The Garden pizza with baked seasoned potatoes was a real favourite. All the wine is natural / organic, and served by the glass and bottle. The vibe is casual and the staff are all especially nice and friendly. Our table was needed back to so we didn’t get a chance to try the desserts but they looked great. Will be back.

Absolutely stunning food and super friendly staff and owners! I highly recommend to eat here while in cork (book in advance!). Lorenzo, one of the owners and cook, talks to every customer about the menu, the origin of ingredients and any questions they might have. The food and experience was so good we booked a second visit while we were still there! Incredibly fresh and tasty vegetarian and vegan ingredients, desserts and starters. Pasta and pizza are freshly made and you can taste the love for the craft! Many Italians ate there too, which is always a good sign ;) Thank you for the great food and experience Lorenzo & team! ~ Chris and Anna, the two Germans on the couch 😄

Best vegan pasta I've had in a while paired with great wine. Way better than pasta I've tried in Italy. The portion sizes were just right, we left the restaurant really satisfied. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Everything was great from start to finish. We had the Daisy pizza - perfect size for a shared starter or lunch, it was so delicious as were the pasta dishes with a choice of sauces with linguine or ravioli, both handmade. I can definitely recommend the truffle based dish. The restaurant focuses on sustainability and sources as many ingredients as possible locally here in Ireland and those that can't be sourced here come from Italy. The menu is entirely vegetarian or vegan. The wine and coffee were also excellent as well as the desserts. The place has a lovely, cosy atmosphere with an open kitchen. The staff are really friendly and are clearly passionate about their food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Sonflour is a brilliant addition to Cork city. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious. The pasta is so fresh and tasty. Everything is made with local ingredients and you can really taste the quality. It was a real treat to have so many good vegetarian and vegan options too. Nice friendly staff to top it all off. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious pasta, portion size just right, very filling. Amazing cheesecake, super creamy, not too sweet, slice not too big. The star of the meal was definitely garlic bread. Please whatever you decide to go for, get. garlic. bread! I'm not even a garlic bread fiend, but this was 😗👌 Place decently sized and cozy, staff nice, attentive, but unintrusive, prices very reasonable... All in all, a very pleasant experience.
