Lovely staff and amazing crepes 🍨🧇🍫

Technically this is ice cream or so the sign inside says. Less fat apparently! Anyhoo, it looked nice and tasted good. I didn't have any myself but my daughter and wife did. Inside the shop it looks very clean and bright, resplendent with colorful bulbs. My only issues are the cost and service. It's not cheap! Not by a longshot! Also the staff were far more interested in talking to their friends who were leaving in Italian than serving the customers! We were almost like an inconvenience in their socializing. Also, learn to smile occasionally instead of just going through the motions!

2022 review- the not meet customers expectations. 17/01/22 I honestly did not like my experience in Ginos ice cream store. I knew it will be very important to leave my review immediately. Went to the store close to penny’s to by a milkshake at 12:50. The man attending to me said it was 4.50 euro I asked if At least one topping will be in it, he said no. Then coming to the milkshake could he mix the flavours still a no. I wanted chocolate and at least something else that was milk related. Long story short they gave me only crushed chocolate ice cream as every other thing was at an extra cost including cream when I could go to swoon Ice cream and get the best mixture of a life time at the same time but no 🥲… decided to give Gino a try and that was a huge mistake.

Went into Gino's last night and was very disappointed... I wanted to order a waffle but was told "there are no waffles today" so I went with a crepe. I felt disgusted to sit inside, all the sits and tables were dirty and sticky. While waiting for my crepe a family came in and ordered waffles and a worker turned on the waffle machine and started making waffles 👎 definitely not worth the money.

Friendly staff and really tasty Gelato let down by lack of attention to detail on presentation.

Ahhhhh! I can’t tell you how much I love Ginos it’s literally the best ice cream store in cork. I got a pistachio ice cream it was very good and it had good flavours but I have not seen the honeycomb ice cream in a while PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!

Really really nice milkshakes here! Not cheap but worth it for the taste. Very friendly staff also, which was nice. Only issue is the motors in the freezers are extremely loud, which makes it very difficult to enjoy being inside with friends. I think the managers should splash out and get the freezers serviced :)

Relishing outlet to enjoy a range of overwhelming flavours of Ice-cream after a tire-full shopping at Tesco. Generous servings and reasonable pricing.

Oh my word, the ice cream ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We were strolling after a light meal and found this fab gelateria. The lemon sorbet I've been told was fab - I wasn't offered a taste though, lovely daughter. I had the cheesecake with pistachios and I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it, it was so good. Need to find reasons to visit Cork again soon!!

Good selection of ice-cream, but expensive, nice for a treat though.

It’s a small but very nice place. I was there in the morning so it wasn’t busy but after a while people began to come and there was not much space. Loved “gelato”, waffle, decor and music a bit loud but very nice! I’d say the price is a bit expensive but affordable. Nice staff. Nice food. The only thing, there was too much Nutella in crêpe and it was too sweet for me but it’s just personal point of view. Will definitely return.

I love their icecream, best in Cork, I think, I haven't tasted any other because this is just perfection!

ginos gelato is worst place ever for customer or employee. they are fooling people with expensive gelato and not paying employee the salary they deserve. they are paying less than minimum pay to employee and harassing them with overload of work. they are misusing people to finish their work and not paying for bank holidays sunday and no sick leave. the owners are very rude and not concern about the worker they are playing and misusing them. no one should join ginos ever this company ginos gelato should close. very bad company

I love Gino's. The kinder bueno, Oreo and hazelnut are favourites but some of the specials can be really good too, definitely ask for a taste if you can't choose between 2 flavours. Anytime I'm in town I also grab a scoop, so good

At first I thought it was a but expensive but when I saw how much I got and how delicious it was, its worth every single penny! I ordered a regular cone and the scoops were HUGE! And the icecream tasted to good! I ordered the oreo and kinder bueno flavors :)

I dont know if this is a bad thing for most people but too much sauce on my waffle... taste bo waffle just the sauce... will definetly never come back again.

Great staff Took the two toppings one, mint choc and pistachio. Pistachio was great. mint choc was not pleasant, a bit off.

We asked for berries and white chocolate crepe which should’ve included fresh strawberries then they gave us this extremely sweet thing with absolutely no strawberries. Really bad taste

Was served a milkshake with cream that had soured, notified staff, they denied it, got sick a half hour later…not good, but the milkshake itself tasted good, don’t get the cream…

Catastrophy.I was there on Sunday with my daughter and wife. I made an order from Adriano-crepe with pistachio sauce, waffled with pistachio sauce, and a scoop of Belgian chocolate gelato. He couldn't remember my order. I repeat 5 times my order to him-he was somewhere else with his mind. Ok, let's forget about this. Two other staff, it's completely useless. First what we have seen was a guy throwing pancake into the bin(he can't make pancake) and pancake was...can't describe. Ok, let's forget about this let's talk about my waffle with pistachio sauce(7€). It was the worst waffle I ever eat. It was a chewie piece of dough. Small at the same time I think no more than 10 maybe 12 cm. I didn't finish. Its not like I have a problem with your place because your gelato is very good(because the staff has to do nothing just scoop them) but other things are just a joke and bad for your business. I hope the owner of this place will read this review and check what is going on in his place. I was there on 5/12/21 please check the cameras and see what your staff doing.

The staff are lovely.The waffle and ice=cream was really nice 💖 but alot smaller then before.

Really good ice cream, but the only bad is that they have few variety of flavors, but the ones that have are delicious.

You should teach your employees how to prepare food hygienically. It is unacceptable that my food is prepared and touched with bare hands without gloves, especially after handling money. I immediately wanted my money back.

More cream than waffles. The waffle was a very small portion and cost €7. There was more cream on top the the actual waffle itself.

Today at 5.30pm staff are pulling their best bored faces to all customers & despite hardly anybody our 7 eur waffle gets forgotten and burnt... Great customer experience!!
