I've gone to many Asian markets in Cork looking for specific things and would sometimes get lucky and find what I want (rarely). Then I came across Jia Jia and they had everything I was looking for. Such a great selection.

Very nice store on cornmarket street, it is a small shop and a little hard to notice due to a lack of advertisement of the shop. The customer service is great the employee stands at the counter telling you the price before you can even open up your wallet without having to even scan it, that is just amazing. They have a wide variety of foods and snacks which are very affordable though some snacks may cost you a penny or two more than normal. Very good 👍

The man that works here is an absolute gem. I was looking for a different retailer and accidentally found his shop the other day. He directed me to a lower cost establishment to get what I needed to do finished. I remembered that and came back for my favorite asian snacks. I felt that the prices were fair and they have a good selection. You can feel good supporting this place and they are class.

Always ask for the receipt when you're done buying your stuff. That old asian lady there the owner maybe will try to get more money from you if you dont look when you pay. I dont know how many times she did this to me but i caught her one time and i dont want her to victimise more people. Just be careful people

They are cheaper than the average grocery store in ireland, they have delivery service which can be same day as well and the communication with the staff was great (added out of stock item once they received it) , will definitely order again 🍀🙏🏾

Great products at ridiculously affordable prices. Been coming here for years and the family is always so welcoming ~ it's gotten to the point where i see them as my own family. Products are alwaysfresh and they're always willing to answer any questions you have. I cannot recommend this shop enough, the foods are incredible and plenty of vegetarian foods (eg mock pork/duck, 'beef' jerky). And in case you're wondering, yes they have everything you need to make boa at home or even ready made cups that you just need to add hot water too! This is a must-see place to try new and delicious foods!

My go to place for buying any Asian related food ingredients. The place is quite small and can be a bit crowded sometimes. The owner is very friendly.

Jia Jia is well worth a visit. The staff are helpful and always have a smile on their face. If you are ever in need of some Asian cuisine products that are usually hard to find in Ireland, this is the place to go. Everything is very well priced too.

2016:They pretty much have everything I need as a Chinese who cooks Chinese food most of the time. I love the dumpling pastry there and Lao Gan Ma (my favorite spice), also different type of soy source. March 2022: Visited years later and glad they still have pretty much everything I wanted for meals.

Friendly staff and large variety of oriental (mostly Chinese) foods. Make sure to check out the chilled section for baby pak choi, and sometimes even fresh curry leaves.

Best in Cork to get all the authentic Asian food and ingredients, allowing you to make authentic Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes that aren't offered in any restaurants in Cork

Great range but more importantly really helpful staff. A lady helped me find the right chillies and gave me advice about making chilli oil.

😠 The bakery re-labels baked goods from previous days to seem fresher than they really are. I bought croissants at 07:30 in the morning that were tougher than shoe leather and was refused a refund.
