As a complete novice, I was nervous entering Camera World. The staff member who helped me could not have been more helpful. He was so pleasant, and really took the time to find exactly what I needed. I've had great fun using my camera since, and will have no hesitation going back to Camera World in the near future to build up my collection, and to get more helpful advice

Dropped in with a Nicon EM camera that was not working. I had replaced the batteries previously. Shop owner cleaned the battery contacts and got the camera working again. No charge and repair done without any question. Great service.

Today I called into O’Learys Camera world , my camera was giving trouble , Their service was exceptional , and John gave his time and expertise generously , to resolve my issue . I would highly recommend O’Learys , and ask for John . Looking forward to dealing with them again soon !

Arrived to attempt to get a new battery for my camera, which was failing to shoot, which other stores in Cork didn't stock. Upon inserting the new battery, my camera still didn't fire but John was very helpful and took a look for me and attempted to fix. Although we didn't resolve the issue, I still appreciate the time John spent to try and assist me, especially after I turned up without an appointment. Thanks again!

Was unable to use passport photos as name of photographer was written at the back. No retake was given. Found a much cheaper place for passport photos around the corner.

I want to order a secondhand lense and get it delivered to Dublin. Whilst it’s not something they usually do they were so accommodating and found a way to post it over. The next day it arrived and it was in perfect condition. They were so helpful and friends every step of the way and I really couldn’t be happier with the service and product. Went to make passport photos just to discover in embassy that the photo is wrong and of course the shop did not see anything wrong with the photos, no retake or refund. Stay away

I had a really excellent experience in this shop. I went in with almost no knowledge of cameras but a vague idea of what I wanted. The young man working there gave me lots of information and guidance without ever being condescending or making me feel clueless. He wasn't pushy at all and I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything more than I was looking for. I bought a camera and came back a few weeks later for a zoom lens; again I got great advice and I'm so pleased with the result, I feel it was exactly the right purchase and am so glad I got the expert advice in O Learys. Highly recommend

Rip off. Came there today to do passport photo. The employee wanted to charge me €15 for the photo and additional €15 for sending that photo to me because "it must be retaken/sth is different with that emailed one." Nonsense. Went to FujiFilms and the professional photographer that works there did amazing passport photo for €12.50 + she sent me the photo on the email (included in price). And you wouldn't believe, she didnt need to retake new photo for the emailed one. 😁

Fantastic shop to deal with, have gotten me out of more then a few holes when caught on a job and have been great to source bits and pieces for me if they didnt happen to have it in stock.

Exceptional customer service! Unfortunately my camera had dust on the sensor while exploring Cork city and the shopkeeper recommended a variety options based on my preferences for a compact option of the highest quality. While I wasn't prepared to purchase on the spot, I did call back after leaving Cork for additional advice. Knowing this call wouldn't lead to a sale, he still never hesitated to offer expert advice. If I resided in the Cork area and needed anything camera related, I would only purchase from O'Leary's!

I rang John In O'Leary's today and got the last Canon R7 available in Ireland today. It was shipped to me this afternoon and I couldn't say more about his courtesy and professionalism dealing with me! First class! 100% satisfied! Super to deal with! The best service in town. I went in, looking for something specific and Declan recommended exactly what I needed and ordered it in for me. Once it arrived, John patiently showed me how to use it. Was in store on Monday, with pre _owned camera bought years back. Had some problems with settings and printing photos, have to say lads , had it sorted in no time. I was at my wits end with my R6 as after a firmware update it just wasn't focusing accurately for me and I couldn't fix it. I phoned the shop for advice and he said to pop in with the camera and they could check it out for me. When I went in I spoke to John about the issue I was having and he took at look at the settings for me and sorted the issue within minutes. I had searched every YouTube tutorial and googled the issue extensively and he fixed it in a few minutes and also didn't charge me anything. I love shopping in this store and after this I will continue to be a long term customer. Thanks again.

I would highly recommend a visit to O' Leary's Camera World. I dropped in on the off chance they might be able to fix and old Nikon D80 I have that was giving an error and not working. I left the camera with them for half an hour and they were able to resolve the issue. There was no charge and when I asked if they were sure about that, they said it was grand. In this day and age it is very rare to get such service - I hope this goodwill pays dividends. I will certainly be back when I need new equipment.

I bought a Canon L lens from O'Leary's Camera World, I dealt with Declan, who was very helpful from start to finish. The item was paid for on Tuesday afternoon and delivered to County Meath overnight carefully packed and packaged.
