I am in Dublin and needed to buy wine as a present for a friend in Cork. I spoke to Katrin who was personable and so knowledgeable - If you are buying wine in Cork then call Katrin in this shop - you won’t go wrong!

Must be the season of the year, but the shop was empty when I was served in a very derogatory and condescending manner, both staff were eager to get me out as quickly as possible... Wasn't allowed to tap my own card, the lady behind the counter took it from my hand. Articles were packed behind my back and once paid I was told to pick it up from the table, the sales-man was busy doing other things. Unbelievable, I hope other customers receive better treatment. Guess I will buy from another shop in the future.

Shopping for wine here will give you three advantages. First, a satisfying combination of quality at an affordable price. Second, impressive choices of high end wines and more economically priced options. Third (and my favourite reason for going there) a visit to the Wine Buff can turn into a class in understanding wine. They are so kind and generous with their knowledge, and do not lord it over you if (like me) you do not have a deep understanding of or familiarity with wine labels.

I cannot recommend the Wine Buff in Cork enough. Always providing the greatest service from selecting wine for a Saturday night in, organising and hosting bespoke team building events with my work colleagues to helping me with dinner parties for friends. Katrin and Michael have fantastic wine knowledge which they are always willing to share/teach. A very special wine shop who go the extra 10 miles

Wine Buff has a wide selection of wine and accessories. The staff and owners are super knowledgeable and helpful. They will do their best to insure that you get the wine most suitable for you. Used the wine buff for my wedding recently. All I can say is fantastic. Service, advice the expertise was all fantastic. Wine buff cork are an amazing wealth of knowledge and information which made our decision so much easier. We have been going to here for a few years now. We usually order a case or two and Michael always accommodates us by delivering to us.
