The bouncer's are very rude. They didnt allow me in and asked me to come back in 30 mins after having a coffee. I had one pint from franciscan well before going there. When i tried to justify that i wasnt drunk, the bouncer said i talk too much and if i continued i would never be allowed in. So much for customer hospitality. Would never go there again.

Do not recommend. Charged €12 for a single vodka razza. Bouncers are rude and cold. The place smells like feet. And its €10 to get in, for what? I dont know. Have been here multiple times and if anything, it only gets worse each time.

Went here for pints with my friends a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't believe the service. I ordered two pints of Heineken and the bar man asked to "say please". Couldn't believe it until I said it around and apparently I'm not the first that's this happened to. Didn't get his name but he had ginger hair. Absolutely not on.

A star at best, went in for my girlfriends 21st birthday with some friends and was very disapointed. As a bar supervisor and bouncer myself who has experience in the bar trade the way they treat people is inconsistant. You have people in there who have white noses but they ignore it but they’ll kick a girl out after 3 pink gins tops and claim she is a drunk mess. Stay away from this place unless you’re looking to be disrespected by arrogant bouncers who have a serious lack of communicaton in their staff. Also tried contacting them for 4-5 hours via instagram and phone number but nobody seems to be bothered to deal with a customer complaint. I wanted to contact them because my girlfriend misplaced her phone and it’s potentially in there but she was thrown out so quickly and sudden that she can’t be sure if she left it there because they give you no time to gather your belongings. I do not recommend this place steer clear

Went for a few drinks last night with my wife (5 in total) and went out for a cigarette and was refused entry back into the venue, when I asked why no reason could Be given or no complaints had been made against me was told it was a judgement call by bouncer (wm186046/24) I feel it was mistaken identity by said bouncer. Anyway a good place to visit if new security staff employed and I welcome any feedback from this venue 🙁🙁

The drinks were more or less cheap but there are cameras inside the women's toilets... That should be illegal.

This one bouncer was very rude kicking out our friends for no reason. All the other bouncers were chill and understood we weren’t doing Anything wrong but then we’d see this one guy would kick them out for no reason. He was on some kind of power/ego trip. Only this one bouncer had a problem with us ruining the night for everyone. Would not recommend. There are better places in Cork.

Almost any bar that has Peroni on draft is a place to go to! But to be fair. Good place, lots young people really laid back atmosphere!

Was ordering 2 drinks for me and a friend the foxy guy behind the bar asked me to say please after ordering the drinks, no way to treat paying customers the height of cheek

Security went through my phone to see if my name matches with my 2 forms of id provided!! My bag (that had personal stuff) was then searched before paying €10 to enter. Not worth it, much better places in town

Was here a little while back. Nice pub to go and have a chat with friends. That is until the DJ comes on, as he appears to have hearing difficulties, cause as soon as he started he turned up the volume so you end up shouting at each other instead of just talking. Left shortly after and won't be going back. Not a great selection of beer either!

The main reason anyone should go to Conways yard is for the staff! Everyone employed there is so so lovely and really make the atmosphere of the place. From security on the door to the bar staff we are welcomed every time we go in! The drinks in there are delicious and well priced! A chubbalicious is a genius invention and for 13€ it’s a bargain! The shot and cocktail menu is so tasty aswell with a drink for every type of taste. I feel comfortable in Conways every time I go there because I know staff and security will be at the top of their game! The judgement calls security make, make me feel safer in there! They make the whole environment! The creativity in there is amazing with themed nights with specific music being played! I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 5 minutes at the bar to be served which for a busy night club is very good! If there was a higher rating than 5 stars I would give them that cause every member of staff is amazing every night

Went to Conway’s yard with some friends for birthday night out 17/11/22 Was very disappointed with the treatment we received from the staff. Bouncers were rude and aggressive, and seemed to be on a power trip turning people away for no good reason. Heard dj telling people to “go away”. Overall very unhappy with the attitudes of the staff, will not be coming back.

Lovely bar in the heart of the city, lovely staff, drink prices are very good for such a great spot, definitely will call again

Was really badly treated here, bouncers very rude and so were staff. Atmosphere was really bad with bad music and very expensive. Would not recommend going here.

Saw a bartender handle ice with their hands and then throw it back into the ice box… Disgusting and overpriced. Staff are awfully rude, anywhere is better than here.

Nice interior, but we paid 10 euros for entry and we waited to get upstairs for 2 hours because it was too crowded. They shouldn't let anymore people in in the first place when you cannot let them upstairs. Also they had the same playlist like the Old Oak. But at least there you get in for free.

Best Venue in Cork, All staff and security make sure they're customers are safe at all times. Couldn't recommend anywhere else in Cork City

First time visiting, loved the decor. Great music. Fantastic cocktails from the dedicated cocktail bar

Their bouncers are unprincipled sadists who are hell bound on unjustifiably ruining people’s nights. They do so in a manner which suggest that this the is the only thing they gain pleasure in life from.

Great atmosphere and music was brilliant great staff and very friendly even the door man was a laugh and some very tasty beer which also helps

I couldn't wait to try here, heard so much about it. Cocktails were fab but there was a smell of sick in here. Lovely bouncers amd most of the staff but the smell turned us off.

Just want to mention about Lauryn and how professional and productive she was.. she made our visit so welcoming and was extremely polite she is an assets to your company. Without Lauryn here at the bar we would of stayed for one drink..” currently on our 6th drink”

I cannot recommend them enough. Great night out and the bouncers were on the ball watching and making sure everyone was ok!

Really enjoyed this night club/bar. Staff were friendly and very efficient with serving people. Bouncers were also sound and no problems with them. €10 to get in but that's the way everywhere works now as they need to pay the door staff etc so shouldn't be too much of a shock. The DJ was brilliant. Only one thing I found strange was the floor upstairs not sure what kinda floor it was and cant get over how sticky it was.

Nice spot and really nice atmosphere with extremely attentive and friendly wait staff ! We were not asked to leave after our 90min, but moved to accommodate another group (we were moved to a better table which was ideal!). 4 stars only because 1. Cocktail menu is very limited (5 options) 2. We paid a 20euro deposit to hold our booking which we were told would come off our drinks tab, but they then tried to charge us AGAIN on our bill for it. However when we did flag this to staff, there wasn't an issue in resolving it.

Was in this venue last night. Staff were extremely rude and disrespectful, shoving people around and shouting in peoples faces. Charged us €10 to get in, let us wait an hour to get upstairs and then told us all to leave. Will definitely not be back and will advise other friends the same

The revelry noise on Saturday night was too much to get some sleep in my B&B room nearby , so I decided to join them. Classic club bangers, good friendly inclusive crowd, ordering drinks were easy, cool aesthetics. IMO pop songs selections could be improved, as they were getting too predictable. Rihanna, Britney, Pitbull, Kesha, BEPs, Lady Gaga are 2000s which is alright if they were unique remixes but straight up playing snippets are eh.

The bouncers here are so nice and helpful. Went out of there way to make sure my friend and I were okay after a night out! Great to see considering what’s going on at the moment!

Bouncer at the door declined college ID one week saying “not proper ID” and the next week refuses me entry due to me not having one. Same bouncer both weeks, tall (6’3 ish) and young, mid 20s, brown hair, skin fade. Many others having the same problem, this bouncer rejecting them due to inconsistent reasons and it’s affecting nights out constantly. This bouncer needs to be informed about this and it’s easy to target teenage college students but Conways as a whole is constantly being affected by this bouncer.

I went to conways on Halloween night and I have frequented the place before with a couple of my friends. However the bouncers on the door on Halloween night were simply awful. I understand how stressful their job can be but we came to the door completely sober and talking civilized and yet the reception we received was that of rude and sarcastic. Bouncers are there to make you feel safe when you are drinking Unlike conways bouncers, who shout and have sarcastic remarks. Totally disappointed and would love for management to sort out their staff on the door
