Had the squid for starter and steak for main. I have my steak blue. Rarely have I ever been able to get it perfectly cooked and rested but this was one of the few. Compliments to the chef. Great staff. Very friendly.

I’ve been going to the Oar regularly since moving to Crosshaven a few months ago and wanted to post this review. We usually eat in the bar and every single time the food has been superb and I look forward ti my visits every time.

Nice place, we were seated at the back of the restaurant near the outdoor dining storage, so it wasn't ideal. No starters on the menu only chowder. I had pan fried hake with mussels, absolutely delicious 10/10. Hubby had the striploin steak , perfectly cooked, beautiful mushroom and tarragon sauce with it . Small portions though so left feeling slightly still hungry, especially as no starters on offer.

Best pub in Crosshaven! Great fish and chips , good music and the service is amazing. I definitely recommend this place

Really good food in both the bar and restaurant with very generous portion sizes. Great place to watch a match while eating. Staff are really friendly and attentive. Fish and chips is a must have!
