We have been massive fans of another Indian restaurant in town -that rhymes with Maveli- for years but heard great things about Coriander so decided to give it a go and were blown away by how good it was. The Mo Mo starter was a very generous portion, tasty filling and a fantastic dip. Our mains were slow roasted Nepalese lamb shank, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The rice that came with the lamb was so flavourful, the lamb was delicious but had too much fat which is why I went with 3/5, the masala was the creamiest we had ever eaten and the naan was again full of flavour and not doughy unlike other places. Staff were friendly and kind and were still respecting covid measures (no longer required) which made us feel so safe. Will happily come here all the time from now on.

I will rate this the best place to get Indian food in cork. Good, clean place for dine in. Food is awesome. I would suggest trying Punjabi samosa chat though everything else is also good

Hii, so we were a group of 11 people who went to Coriander Douglas. The food was amazing, served hot, very nice looking dishes, the restaurant was nice, food took about 25 mins to come( may be bcoz of big order), daal makhani, vegetarian thaali, cheese garlic naan is definitely recommended. The total bill was 240 euro. One thing was not ok, the sever was very impatient while taking order and in the process was bit rude. 1 star deducted due to his attitude, else the restaurant deserves 5 stars. Thanks

I've been enjoying the food here for over a year. It's a 10 out of 10 from me. I'm Indian myself so I feel some bit qualified to speak on the subject. The flavours and presentation are absolutely outstanding 👏 👌

Located in Doughlas , A beautiful Indian n Nepalese Restaurant. The ambience is so soothing while the food is top notch. We were a group of 10 and went late on a Sunday night. The staff accommodated us and served some mouth watering food. From starters to the main course everything we ordered was amazing. The food portions were very good and worth every bit. A must visit place.

Honestly the food was ok but, in one main course there was 4 bite sized chicken pieces for €20? yeah ripoff, i was still hungry and very disappointed walking out. The waiter was quite rude and raised his voice like he was trying to argue with us. The bathroom has 2 sinks and 1 soap dispenser and it did not work, there were 2 stalls and one stalls lock worked and the other did not. Overall i was not satisfied with this visit and wont be returning.

I am impressed of the taste. Beautiful food so spicy and tasty... will come there more often. If you don't know what to take you can ask for plate that you can taste couple of dishes... amazing idea

We wanted to go to another Indian restaurant but it wasn't open, and I'm glad we discover this one. The staff is helpful and polite. The food is just amazing. It looks like the portions weren't that big but with a main dish and rice you get really full. We'll come back for sure!

We had been to this place for dinner. Food was really delicious 😋. I loved the kadhai paneer and Garlic Naan. The experience was like an hot evening in a cosy and noisy place filled up with plenty conversation. If you are looking fir authentic Indian food I would recommend this place. The staff was also very courteous.

The food is superb! One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever tried in Ireland. However, the restaurant decoration and restrooms could use a little renovation.

The food was good but we had ordered Chicken Saag but we were served Chicken tikka masala. We were there at evening 7:50 and we ordered at 8:00, the food arrived at 8:40. The starter arrived around 8:15. There was a couple who was sitting before us but they were served later than us and even after people arriving later than us were served earlier. Anyway the chicken tikka masala was good, no complaints about food. Service could be improved though

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. The Thali was nice and had a great verity, the starters were perfect and the coconut chicken was amazing. My only issue was the place was a bit disorganized. We called to make a reservation they said no need, but when we arrived we had to wait for about an hour to get in. Also, after that waiting period, we waited again for the food which took also about hour. Also water was not served until we asked multiple times. But overall it was a good experience just needs a lil improvement.

Best Indian food around in Cork. Must try samosa chat and Aloo tikki chat. Starters - prawns and chicken Momos. Mango lassi is okay they put cardamom more so it tastes different. Thali options are also good which is quite heavy for a person. Expensive but quality of food also good

The ambience is okayish. Food is overly priced. We ordered palak paneer and dal side. Palak paneer was not good and the combination was very weird as the spinach was mixed with cream and the paneer was grilled and served with the spinach curry. I personally did not like the way it was prepared. The vibe was ok but it’s really very expensive and not really worth it.

Great choice of food. Worker identified that we accidentally made a double booking, laughed about it. My grandmothers could not handle even the mildest spice, I think their bar for spice is bread though. I loved it though.

Ordered only starters , it was very tasty! But the service is very bad! It was only for us they were serving very slow , nobody was coming to take order , we had to request them to come and take order. Also to give dessert which was gulab jamun and ice cream they made to wait for more that 30 mins. Also to give bill they were taking time , we went to counter and paid! This was done only to us ! There were other customers who were treated well! We ordered poori chole , it was not good ! Poori was very oily please don’t order that!

We regularly get takeaway and eat-in here and it never disappoints. By far the nicest Indian food around. Everything is so fresh and full of flavour. I could not recommend eating here enough!

Our experience at Coriander was great. The dishes were full of flavour and presentation was superb. Being Nepali myself, I can vouch on Coriander; the quality of dishes and spices used, taste of the dishes and wonderful hospitality we were shown. This is hand down one of the best Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in Ireland. Do try their Nepalese Dumpling, it's as authentic as it can get, tandoori prawns were amazing and the Thali I ordered as main was totally worth it. Thank you Bibek and team. It was 6 stars.

Delicious and fresh. Very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Free papadams with two dips before your order is ready. Most dishes and sauces are quite spicy 😋😋

Had a lovely dining experience here!! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect. We are visiting from America and this restaurant has been the best dining experience we've had in Ireland. The staff were extremely kind and the owner was lovely to talk to.

Absolutely brutal customer experience and totally unexpected standard of food for such a well reviewed restaurant. 1hr20mins wait for food. Mains are priced for just the main item as opposed to the standard pairing of bread or rice. Quality of food was also poor and presented as if it was under a hot hold for a long duration. Would not recommend. Will not be ordering again

We came here because of a recommendation that someone from India had given us saying it was the best Indian food he’d found around Cork City, and, my goodness, it was indeed delicious! Everything we had from the veggie dishes to the meat dishes was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (something we always appreciate when dining out with our toddler). The decor and the dishes were beautiful. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a beautiful meal in Coriander Nepalese a few weeks ago. We had 2 amazing starters, the presentation was outstanding. We had tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala for main course. Both were amazing. The decor was lovely, very traditional. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely return

Food was absolutely delicious 😋 Service was meticulous. Most people had reservations there. We didn't, but they were able to accommodate. It's a nice little place, but unfortunately we got the table right opposite the enterance and it wasn't fun as people kept coming in and out and it was a cold 🥶 night. A little expensive but worth it.

Best indian restaurant ever Visited , had great experience no matter the service or the taste, it deserves the high reputation. Tried New Starter on the Menu " Murg Malai tikka " which was exceptional. I've never tasted Malai tikka like this before - really really good! and we shared few mains ( lamb shank special with Biryani Rice, Butter chicken , saag paneer and Madrash chicken ) bsolutely incredible. If you enjoy authentic Indian food, this is the perfect place. The staff is also super friendly and professional. I can only urge you to explore this gem in Douglas ! shouldnt miss Mango kulfi and Poached pear .

Much better ambiance and taste as compared to their branch in Ballincollig. Reasonably spacious and great service. We ordered takeaway on the phone, and the order was ready at promised pickup time. Good packaging and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this place if you are a fan of Indian or Nepalese food!
