Small but beautiful park. Lovely setting looking over the estuary with the famous Choctaw monument in the centre. Locally known as 'The Feathers'. The landscaping has been changed to make the park more accessible, in recent weeks. New lighting has been installed on the monument so it's often lit up in different colours.

Lovely walk here in east Cork in the town of Midleton. Mid way through the walk you get two options, the left leading to a woodland walk or right bypassing the town. Great car park spaces. On occasion a lovely horse box converted into a beverage and snack shop can be found in the carpark.

Powerful sculpture commemorating an incredible cross-cultural connection of Kindred Spirits - Choctaw Nation kindness during the Irish famine.

A great monument to the Choctaw Tribe of the United States who helped starving families in Ireland.

Huge potential for a nice walkway but unfortunately the amount of dog poo is absolutely disgusting. It's everywhere :(

Very small park. Nice only if you have small toddler, small dog and don't like long walks 😂 took me 5min. Few meters further is an entrance to a proper longer walk by the water... On the other side you can hear the cars (N25) but better than nothing.

Emotional, when one thinks of what the Choctaw Indians did for the Irish during our Great Famine and they undergoing the Trail of Tears
