Beautiful waitress with long dark hair. She had a fun attitude and banter. She treated my partner and I with respect and gave great service. This had us coming back 2 nights in a row. We had a 2 x carbonara pasta the second night, which was amazing and fresh. The first night was pizza and pork cheeks, which were rich in flavours and well presented. Please don't view this as just a pub, this dinning experience gives much more than just beers and pub food. Very good quality meals here and the table service is impeccable!

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Tasty food and friendly staff. The important thing is that they remain open, for late lunch, when everything else in La Spezia is closed.

We stumbled across this awesome cafe when we were in La Spezia a couple of weeks ago. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing! Very reasonably priced compared to other local cafes in the area. We loved it so much that we ate there 3 times in the 3 days we were in La Spezia (lunch, dinner and afternoon snack!) On 2 of our visits we had the fantastic and helpful waitress Alina aka Lady Goga…she was very attentive and gave great service! We highly recommend the antipasto for a very filling and delicious snack! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Visited Murphy’s bar 3 times during our time in La Spezia…..each time the food/drinks/service were excellent. Great range of beers and food. Staff were very friendly. Overall a great place to visit while in La Spezia. Shout out to our very friendly staff member Alina

All places around were either closed or packed. Decided to try this place as reviews were decent. There was maybe one other table dining in. Service was friendly and food came out quick. Regret my decision to get the fresh mushroom pasta as it was the worst pasta I’ve ever had… Tasted like Campbell’s mushroom soup and canned mushrooms. Could not even finish my plate. My friend’s pasta arrabiatta was much better and I wish I had gotten that.

Incredible food, and great pints of beer (many on tap). We ordered the focaccia, buffalo mozzarella with tomato and basil, and prosciutto dish (all in one dish). The bread was amazing, tomatoes were fresh, prosciutto was great, and the mozzarella was the size of a softball, and tasted so good. Highly recommended!

Food was good, big portion in the burger. The optional filling wasn't very evenly spread. Place was bit dead early in the evening.

The seafood pasta was delicious, and the staff were really kind. It arrived quickly and the prices were affordable compared to most of other restaurants in the town.

Great food, big portions and quite some flexibility. I was dying for some fried polenta and they added that to my order. Really cool staff!

We were looking for a nice pub in the area, one of the waiters brought us menus really fast but then never showed up again. I would get it if there was a lot of people but since we were the only ones there we left after a solid half an hour of no service

Food was average. Tasty enough. Service not so much. The oeesin who took our order was clearly unattentive. I ordered a salad and pasta and my boyfriend ordered bruschetta and gnocchi. I recieved both dishes at same time. He got the bruschetta and didn't get gnocchi until 10 min after I had finished my whole meal. We thought it was forgotten. Waitress didn't seem to notice. Explanation, when mentioned.."he ordered 2 hot courses so he didn't get them both at same time."??? Never has this been a thing. Appetizers and salad comes together....main meals also together....so to be enjoyed together .

Great food, unfortunately the service staff messed up two things within the order. Provided what seemed like complimentary bread, but ended up being charged for it without prior notice. Food was good but let down by sloppy service of forgetting food, charging without notice and being served beer in a wine glass that still had a small pool of water in it from having just been cleaned.

This is a good mix between pub classics food and local/Italian food! Certainly vibes that you hardly find in usual Italian restaurants! I have definitely enjoyed the focaccia here and I believe the burgers look good too! It's fairly affordable so it's definitely a good option if you are on a budget but still want to enjoy genuine food and a good beer!

Alina was amazing. She was super friendly, remembered our order and was quick. She always had a smile on her face, and remembered us. Over all great place.

Don't expect traditional Irish Pub food, but a mix of Italian and American. I had the burger, and honestly they were close to greatness, but failed in the end. First, the meat was wonderfully favored, but the rest of the sandwich was seriously messed up. They took a really good bun and turned it into overcooked panini piece of concrete. The hamburger showed up raw, so when I asked them to cook it more they obviously just put the whole plate into the microwave - ruining the once crisp fries, drying out my lettece and tomatoes, and making the already destroyed bun even more brick like. No Murphy's beer as advertised, but Guinness. Almost cold enough.

Fantastic food and the best tiramisu in La Spezia! Michele is the best waiter and he will definitely take care of you if you come! They deserve 7 stars if you ask me haha...

Alina is our favorite gal here. The food is so good and the atmosphere is just what we needed to make La Spazia the top of our to do list in Italia. GRAZZI!

We visited with a very large group last night. Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. Drinks were very good. Will definitely return!

I was looking for a good place to have my Thanksgiving dinner, and decided on The Murphys Pub after having walked by a number of restaurants. They had quite a selection of food and drinks, and I settled on beer and a Mediterranean fish pasta dish (with linguine), which may well be the best pasta dish I've ever had. It was flavorful without being too rich, and both the fish and pasta tasted very fresh. Alina (my server) was awesome, and her recommendation for an after dinner drink was spot on. Overall, the food was great, as was the service, and the ambiance is very pleasant. Prices were quite reasonable. Being by myself abroad on Thanksgiving, I couldn't have picked a better place for dinner. I left with a full stomach and in a great mood.

Almost got my 5 stars. Everything was nicez, we had great lunch then comeback for dinner. Until I get the dessert... -2 (could be -3) for the dessert
