Good Food, Argentina Style…

Excellent steakhouse - price and quality are amazing. I’ve head the chorizo beef, ordered it medium/rare and I got it medium/rare. That’s what I love about a good steakhouse. The buffet for sides and salad is great and offers enough choice. Presentation of the steak included. Thank you

Over the course of two months, I've done an exhaustive survey of Parrillas in Buenos Aires. The bife de chorizo is in the top tier of those that I've had in Buenos Aires. No chimichurri and the morcilla + bread are only ok, but the beef is legitimately impressive. Definitely make it a point to go here.

Ok, i do bot think the meat was argentinian. It is usually more tender.

Attentive and friendly service, food was delivered promptly. Possibly the best chorizo de bife I have ever had the pleasure of having, I do not understand how they get it so tender. The steak was cooked to perfection and the fat was rendered and delicious. Generous portions, unlimited salad, even the empanadas were great. Would return here in a heartbeat.

Steskhouse. Meat and a plate fries. Impeccable service. Portions are HUGE. Suggest couples share an entrée. I loved this place. It wasn't pricey for fine dining. The portion was just ridiculously E N O R M O U S. I'd have preferred to pay a little less for a more ressonable portion, thus 4/5.

Service was fabulous - thank you. My meat (lamb) was as tough as old boots, over cooked and clearly just reheated, making it even more overcooked and tough. When I told the waiter it was not edible he kindly brought me another piece which was much better, but still overcooked. My dinning companions had beef ribs and pork ribs and they really enjoyed them. The salad buffet is lovely and the meat portions enormous. They had a nice wine list too.

This is a very traditional and popular restaurant with Argentinian roots right in the heart of La Paz with exemplary service and good food, particularly the steak. Besides an a la carte menu there is also great value fixed lunch menu of soup, salad bar, a choice of sausage, or black pudding - (a type of blood sausage), a selection of filet steak (Lomo), chicken and other choices, all for just Bs55 (about £6).
