Avoid this place! The view is the only good thing you will experience there. First, our appetizer (mushrooms with garlic) was literally swimming in oil. Why would anyone want to consume twice as much oil as a few meager mushrooms? Second, both of our main courses were sad. My wife’s fish was far undercooked even though we specified well done, and the side vegetables were steamed, tasteless disasters. My salmon was over cooked (I specified medium at most), and the side vegetables were a completely boring melange, and the roasted potatoes were like cardboard. The service was barely passable. We were told this was one of the best restaurants in the city. Don’t believe it! And don’t waste your money on this overpriced place. My wife returned her entree, and we left to dine someplace that knows how to cook.

Definitely one of the best places to have a dinner, delicious flavor (specially with seafood) overall 8/10, even though the staff wasn't particularly helpful to give recommendations / advices related to altitude sickness. Pricy I will say but quality is not cheap for sure... It's a must in La Paz....

I had no idea it was going to be this amazing. I am on a multi month backpacking trip through South America. When I got to La Paz a free map advertised a Swiss and fondue restaurant. My family is from Switzerland, so I had to go and check it out. Honestly, it was an amazing experience! It was of course a bit pricey relative to my normal backpacker budget but for what I got it was perfect. Escargot, fondue, amazing desert, drinks. The view and atmosphere of the place. It's a must do while here, it felt like I was back in Switzerland and for a tenth of the price.

A gourmet experienced. This kitchen knows what they are doing to arrest you with a full pallet of sensations. They purchase meats, cheeses. greens -- even right down to the onions -- that are highest quality, fresh, and full of flavor. Textures are created and blended perfectly. E.g. the passion fruit mouse with passion fruit drizzle: airy mouse, strong citrus notes, and seeds left in the sauce that crunch for a well rounded dessert delight.

Since we are Swiss we really enjoyed this little piece of Switzerland. Had a cheese fondue, was great. Recommend it.

One of the best places to eat in Bolivia, not being exaggerated, all the food, drinks and service were amazing 👌👌👌

They have really good food and even a few things you rarely see in South America. We went in the evening and got a window seat (38 floors up) with a beautiful view over the city - during the day I am sure the view will be even more amazing. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The views are on the extreme. The service is very good as well. However from the good we tried it’s mediocre. Good for one time or special moment

La Suisse is a restaurant located in the Calacoto neighborhood of La Paz, Bolivia. It is a Swiss and European cuisine restaurant, offering a wide variety of traditional dishes as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant has two locations: one on Muñoz Reyes Street, 1710, and another on the 38th floor of the Green Tower building, on Inofuentes Avenue. The Muñoz Reyes Street location is smaller and cozy, while the Green Tower building location offers a panoramic view of the city. La Suisse's ambiance is elegant and sophisticated. The restaurant is adorned with wood and stone, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is attentive and professional. The food at La Suisse is delicious. Dishes are prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Traditional Swiss dishes like cheese fondue and raclette are very popular. There's also a wide variety of European dishes such as pastas, meats, and fish. La Suisse's prices are moderate. Main courses range between 50 and 100 bolivianos. Conclusion La Suisse is an excellent restaurant to enjoy a delightful meal in an elegant setting. It's a perfect choice for a romantic dinner or a special occasion Recommendations Try the cheese fondue or raclette, the most popular traditional Swiss dishes. If you're looking for vegetarian or vegan options, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. Make a reservation in advance, especially if you plan to visit during peak season

What a great restaurant. Went there twice! Amazingly good cheese fondue, the cheese is made in Bolivia by Swiss. Fondue Chinoise was absolutely amazing! The sauces were extremely good. The best service we had on our last 5 month trip through South America.

👍 It has the best fried chicken in the city, it also has hamburgers. It has enough space, it is big, if you have children it has a section for them. It has drive in if you want to buy from your car, it has a few parking places, the rest will need to find a place outside to park.

👍👍 This place is amazing. Stumbled on it walking around near the Hostel. It's one of the best meals in Bolivia and for the whole trip overall. It's not that it's anything super fancy, or authentic it's just good. I had an amazing steak and the peach Frappe was huge! Then the icecream at the end was the...

👍 Probably the best roast chicken in town, extremely delicious and equilibrated flavor.
