Worth making your way to this restaurant. I do recommend that you come at least 30min before they open as it’s first come first serve and the restaurant has about 15 tables max. Great presentation, the flavors were very good and the portions very generous! They explain every dish very well and everyone speaks English or Spanish. Definitely worth coming to visit while in La Paz! The menu changes every week.

one of my fave in la paz! really cheap fine dining for the great quality of food and service. We took whatever they recommend including the drinks to pair it with and everything was just so good plus they change menu every week. Would definitely dine here more often if we could and if it weren't for the time constraints as they are only open for lunch. We truly enjoyed the experience.

You have to arrive early to get a table because everyone wants to go there. And that's no surprise, the food is amazing, prices are fair, and you have a view on the kitchen to see the cooks prepare your meal. Tiny menu to provide the best quality, love it ! A must do in La Paz

Tried this restaurant based on the recommendation from the hotel that I stayed. 3-course lunch is served between 12 - 2 pm. It is better to come earlier before 12 pm to join the queue. All dishes were surprisingly good and the price was indeed reasonable despite of the high quality.

My favorite experience in La Paz! Went there more than three years ago but still thinking abt that meal constantly. Delicious and beautifully plated food that showcase local flavors with a creative twist, such a feast for both your tastebuds and your eyes! Love the vibe and staff there as well, super friendly and cozy. I’d eat there everyday if I could :)

The best food in La Paz! Gourmet experience but not pricey. The food was really really good. We were served a soup, main dish (meat or vegetarian), a dessert and fresh juice. They also have a great selection of Bolivian wines, if you want to add it to your meal. Presentation of the food is excellent and overall ambience of the place is very enjoyable. The staff is nice, energetic and very knowledgeable about their work.

This is definitely one of the best restaurant I tried in Latinamerica. For the price of around $14 you get a full course meal of highly elevated bolivian food. You will definitely spend a fortune to get that level of culinary experience in other countries!

My friends brought me to this gem - first I was irritated why so many people are waiting, but the food let me know why. Absolutely stunning taste and presentation. Each course is described by the staff and served with pride. The details and fresh ingredients make this meal to an excellent experience. Highly recommend to come here. Ideal 20min before opening hours to get a spot.

For the price this was a very good restaurant, you pay 79 bolivianos and you get a 3 course meal with some drinks aswell. The food looks amazing, and the taste is also good. I would not go here again but definitely a must go if you are in the area of La Paz!

Had a great experience at Popular, certainly as all the reviews state a very popular place and we were seated in the second seating but their is plenty to see in the area while you wait. The service is outstanding, high attention to detail and just care for the craft. The food was delicious, catered to vegetarians as well! Highly recommend for both the experience and the price!

The food looked like little artworks and it’s for sure one of the better restaurants in La Paz. The people serving are really friendly and now what good service means. For example, I did not like my first drink so I asked for a replacement and they gave it without hesitation or extra charging.

Excellent place to taste a little bit of every part of Bolivia, mixing ingredients from different cities in Bolivia giving it a creative and delicious twist to various different dishes that are popular in Bolivia. Usually every week there’s a change of the three course menu.

Had lunch there as part of our city tour, and truly enjoyed the concept. This is an open kitchen, where you see the chefs at work. They do not take reservations, so get there early. The food presentation was absolutely beautiful with an outstanding attention to detail. We tried various dishes, fish was really good, and the chicken very tender. I would eat here again!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this one is worth it!! We had such a great 3-course lunch here. Probably one of the best meals we’ve had in our lives. So delicious and prepared with lots of attention to detail. Value for money is incredible (especially when you’re used to European / US prices). We got two seats at the bar in front of the kitchen. Super interesting to watch the cooks prepare the dishes.

We managed to sneak in at the last minute for lunch and we’re treated to a spectacular set menu for a ridiculously reasonable price! Every item was clearly explained, and the presentation of the food was equaled by the flavours. Local wines capped off a truly special restaurant in La Paz

Best food in La Paz. 5 stars. The lunch menu changes weekly, so we came twice and both times were equally as good. They also have excellent vegetarian options. Make sure you get here at 12pm sharp so you don’t have to wait too long for a table.

Outstanding meal and great value too! Only open at lunch and only accommodates about 50 people a day, so be sure to arrive about 30-40mins before opening time to be one of them! Foodie visitors to La Paz do not want to miss this! Three course menu with three choices each for starter and main, and two for desert. Veggies (like me) have one option each for 1st and 2nd courses but both were delicious! Price includes bread and a choice of two homemade juices. The flavours, presentation and service were fantastic. I've eaten in some fancy places and the food here is up with the best, BUT at only 79bs per head, an absolute bargain. I still can't quite believe it! Ps great coffee downstairs too at Cafe con Pan. Thanks!

Affordable gastronomy. Went there with friends and we all love it: the food was great, the juices too, the restaurant is very lively, our waiter was lovely and I really liked the open kitchen. Go there early, it’s always full

Just to confirm it's good reviews. This place hit the perfect spot. Combining local ingredients with outstanding presentation and and friendly prices. The menu is not super extended but every dishes delicious and at that price point you can't complain. It's a busy restaurant but service is fast and the waitress super friendly. You get complementary fruit juice but you have a nice selection of wine and craft beers. Shame that they only open for lunch.

This is certainly one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. You have to arrive early, but the staff is friendly and transparent. The combinations of flavours and the explanation of everything is incredible. They also have Bolivian wines, that goes perfectly with the food. The price is also incredible! A must go in La Paz

A must in La Paz. According to me the best lunch experience in the city. Great staff, presentation, taste and setting. They change their menu once a week.

Interesting flavors, good value 3 course meal with a drink. They use local ingredients to make nice local food. I felt the food looked much better than it tasted, unfortunately. I give it a 4 because I understand they change the menu every day and the overall experience was good.

Definitely the best restaurant I ate at in Bolivia and we went to some top-notch places. It's cool because it's super busy and really active and crowded and you can see into the kitchen where 20 people are running wild in an organized fashion, and the food is delectable and the presentation amazing. Comparable to a five star Michelin restaurant. And our server was awesome: I accidentally dropped six US $100 bills on the floor and he just picked it up and gave it to me, even though I didn't notice for a long time. Needless to say I gave him a huge tip.

Hands down the best fine dining experience I have had in South America. The ambiance is very casual but the food and service is very professional.

👍 It has the best fried chicken in the city, it also has hamburgers. It has enough space, it is big, if you have children it has a section for them. It has drive in if you want to buy from your car, it has a few parking places, the rest will need to find a place outside to park.

👍👍 This place is amazing. Stumbled on it walking around near the Hostel. It's one of the best meals in Bolivia and for the whole trip overall. It's not that it's anything super fancy, or authentic it's just good. I had an amazing steak and the peach Frappe was huge! Then the icecream at the end was the...
