This happened during winter (March) and we had the waterfall all to ourselves! We parked at ROI Bogove; however, one could drive further towards the direction of the waterfall and there was a field that would be suitable as a temporary parking lot. You could also park further away near the village (there’s a handy public toilet nearby). After reading all of the reviews on board, we noticed that the bridges could be documented in some way for better planning, especially for the people who might need to estimate what kinds of age groups this might be suitable for. The whole journey took about an hour, factoring in an approximate 20 minutes of admiring the waterfall and it’s surroundings. The route was relatively easy but do be careful of loose rocks. It’s extremely beautiful and soothing at the waterfalls!

12/jun It's a 1.5km walk after parking the car. My wife and I are very mild hikers and easily got there (well, it started to rain in the beginning, but we carried on). We used the WIKILOC app to guide us to the waterfall+pool, but you can hire local kids who will offer help. There are a few wooden bridges to be crossed, but fear not: you can make it.

Stayed at a hotel in Bogovë and wanted to check out the waterfall. The walk from the town is about 2.3km (the start is at the road where the blue gate is and a small shop, before the bridge into town). Being a quick hike, we thought we would try it out based on previous pictures. But the pictures are not up to date. We were not impressed with this hike at all. If you want to see for yourself: (If you are walking from town) Take the pavement road up about 1km until you reach the 2nd parking area for the waterfall. Here you will continue on a dirt path which has been taken over by the water plant. It's now a 4x4 road (not trail) and zero shade. The dirt road is lined with pipes for the water. It's not a pretty hike. I was looking forward to crossing the foot bridges that people have posted in here. They are all gone. Now they are concrete bridges for the trucks. All the charm has been taken away. The waterfall area itself gets the 2 stars. If you like to jump into the water, it's 12m and deep enough for cliff jumping. The water is cold!!!! When we got there it was absolutely PACKED with people and we got there at 10:40. There were 3 big tour groups already in the water and on the rocks. More than 50 people in the small area was not the pleasent hike to a waterfall I was hoping for after spending a month in Albania and seeing soooo many amazing gems.

Really beautiful waterfall! We parked in the town and walked up, the road up to the car park isn’t too bad. It is not signposted very well but there is an area where you can leave the car just before the road gets really rough

For 2WD car, we drove and parked at ROI Bogove as trailhead. The 30 minutes hike route is relatively easy to follow however there will be challenges such as bad terrains and broken bridges. You shall expect to cross 4 scary bridges and narrow trails, refer images. (We hiked during a mild rainy day, and it was muddy too) 1 hour round trip hike. The waterfall is such an underrated gem! The inner portion is deep dark blue and outer side is clear water. The falls are peaceful and calm with no other people when we went at March 2022 (winter). We saw amazing rocks formation and frog too! Alternatively if ROI Bogove isn't a good place for you to park, you may park anywhere in town but you shall factor in the extra stretch of hiking up to ROI Bogove.

Nice little waterfall, but driving 2+ hours for it is definitely not worth it. The water is like 2°C in late June so no swimming. You can reach the waterfall with a motorbike, or park your car and walk 15 minutes.

Worth the visit! Park your car at the parking in front of Roi Bogova and continue the road walking for 25 minutes (easy walk). It’s not so crowded around the waterfall (+/- 15 people at the same time in August). The water is very cold!

Nice waterfall and (very) cold water. Off-season (mid of September) it was not too busy - around 10 people at the same time. We did a 2,5hr hike around the waterfall (400 height meters), but unfortunately this hike is not described or shown - you could possibly find it in hiking apps. Doing the hike and jumping into the water to cool off is the best feeling :)

This is the perfect way to spend a day in your life. The waterfall was magnificent and the view is to write a novel about it. I visited in a sunny day and it was one of the best things i ever have done in my life. The water was very cold and so so clear. We even drink some of it. The nearby bars told us that they even serve the water for free in their bars. Like i said before, i really recommend this place. We really enjoyed it

Wonderful piece of nature. Water very cold in October, but still doable

Bit of a muddy track to walk up, expect it wouldn’t be pleasant if it had rained recently. The river doesn’t look very inviting at first but the closer you get to the waterfall the better it gets! The water was very cold, but it looks amazing!

We got lost twice but eventually found the waterfall. There is a pool of very cold but refreshing water at the base of the waterfall. It is well worth the hike. Please DO NOT use Google Maps; they are terrible for hiking.

Beautiful waterfall with crystal clear waters - well worth a visit. The path to the waterfall is presently undergoing extensive refurbishment work, meaning there is quite a bit of construction going on. We also got attacked by a dog, though it's not clear how common this is here.

Nice place but destroyed by the local water company. The road was a nature walk but now it’s full of pipes.

Easy trail and nice waterfall, you can swim there but it is so cold. I was swimming in it today it was freezing but definitely worth the experience and it is really good for the body made a video about it on youtube (Maykel and Maaike). It is definitely one if the days that i will never forget. We were alone me and my girlfriend for a while so we had a good time also nice pictures and videos + swimming, one of the main reasons why we travel outside peak seasons to be alone cz in summer this place is packed with tours and people you can find up to 50person swimming in this small section so if you are more of an adventurous and you like to see the place out of season is definitely the best time, little colder up to 4 people you might meet and that is it. My advice you don’t want to miss out the swim there makes the whole day a different adventure. You park the car there is two parking one on the left and one on the right side a bit further on the road. When you reach the dirt road you park (parking 2) and walk all the way to reach the waterfall. Easy path and one way.

Stopped on my way to Corovode. I'd say it's only worth a stop if you're planning to take I dip, it's definitely not worth intentionally driving here. The walk to the waterfall takes about 20min from the end of the paved road and is not at all scenic, with water pipes and hoses everywhere. The waterfall and the pond beneath it are very small. I was there around 2pm at the end of October and the whole valley was already in the shade. You have to cross the stream to really see the waterfall.
