Max and cheese was good. Basically everything we had was tasty. Brussel sprouts need to be cooked in some butter and seasoned.

Very nice place. I am no brisket connoisseur but it was pretty tasty. The brussel sprouts and broccoli were also surprisingly very good. Cheesy chili tater tots were also VERY yummy.

Food is awesome. Always start off with the nachos with pulled pork and brisket. Add jalapenos if you like it a little spicy. I always add the spicy sauce also! The fish is amazing! Loved it! Portion sizes are so much that I have yet to try the pecan pie for dessert, but I really want to !

We went there for dinner as my husband wanted to try barbecue. It was an amazing place. The restaurant is in a very good location and has plenty of parking space. The restaurant was so comfortable and so cool inside and a break from the really hot sun. They have a beautiful patio seating but we chose inside because we were sweaty and hot. I had lemonade for drink and it was really refreshing. For dinner my husband had the turkey barbecue with side of jalapeño cream corn and Mac and cheese. He is said it was really good. For vegetarians they only have a house salad which is a really good portion size. You could also order from their sides. The waiter (Damien) was so informative and I was so surprised he knew so much about vegetarianism. He helped me to chose a good side. I ended up choosing coleslaw. Even though they didn’t have many vegetarian options I didn’t mind because they were not judgemental and helped me chose the correct meal. My husband said it’s really good barbecue and said it’s best in the island. They also have desserts like cobbler and pie. Definitely stop by there if you love barbecue.

We sat out on their patio since we had a dog. Huge plus that they have a patio section since we have our elderly Chihuahua who has to travel with us now. That’s honestly the only plus of this restaurant. It is extremely overpriced for what you get. The loaded brisket chip appetizer was okay and that was the best thing we had. The food was extremely bland. For our main course, we each ordered the fish and shrimp platter with their “cracker crust” that they seemed to be proud of when we were looking through their menu online before we arrived. We were excited to try it. Ehh… the crust was a good texture, but it wasn’t impressive at all. I love slaw and even it was bland, although they seemed to have tried to jazz it up with some type of spicy mayo. For $30/plate in a fishing town… I expected a LOT better. Honestly, I would have rather went to Popeyes or Long John Silver (which I dislike LJS) and ordered their fish than this place. Honestly, save your money and go somewhere else. After eating there, I’m convinced that the amazing BBQ smell that is wafting through their parking lot is from somewhere else. Lol The waiter we had was pleasant. Very friendly and attentive. He was amazing! If the food would have been halfway decent and more reasonably priced for the quality, I would have probably considered going back because of him. P.S. we were told by another guest that was out on the patio and leaving as we wrapped up, they had tried pretty much all their sides and the only thing they liked was the Mac and cheese. Their comment was that it was bland as well.

We tried going to MacDaddy’s for dinner last night, but everywhere had a 1.5 hr wait without a reservation or getting on the waitlist ahead of time. We settled for lunch today. The host was very friendly and accommodating grabbing us ice waters for a 20 min wait. Our waiter was soft spoken and patient with us deciding what to eat. We ordered a lemon butter grilled fish, a brisket sandwich, and a kid’s meal Mac and cheese with pulled pork. I’m a big bbq enthusiast, so I kept my expectations low. Luckily, my favorite items on the table was the pulled pork and then brisket. Good smoky flavor with a crusty bark (the way I like it). The brisket seemed more lean than my unhealthy self prefers, but it was still good and even better with their bbq sauce. I appreciated that they buttered and toasted the bun. The grilled fish was tasty too, but I thought the bbq was stronger. The peach cobbler was really good too. It was thinner than I imagined it would be with a traditional cobbler portion that has a layer of oatmeal and crumble that was almost like a thin oatmeal cookie (a favorite cookie of mine). My son got a free soft serve also, which was served in a cup with cone on top. We took some of the leftover soft serve and threw it on the hot cobbler to make it a la mode. Good stuff.

The food was amazing. My husband had the chicken wings. He was surprised to see them on the menu and our server said they smoke the wings, then fry them and add the sauce. They were delicious. I had the brisket and the ribs with mac & cheese and brussels sprouts. The meat was so tender. I think the brussels sprouts could’ve used a little more cooking time, but they were still good. We also took home a piece of mixed berry and peach cobbler with ice cream. They were large servings. Large enough that I ate on it for two days. Our server was Abby and she was very friendly. We will be back no doubt!!!

Excellent food, turf and/or surf. Indoor & outdoor seating. Alot of energy in the air. Great service, good food, regular and spicy BBQ sauce on table, do not have to ask for any condiments or napkins!
