We
tried
going
to
MacDaddy’s
for
dinner
last
night,
but
everywhere
had
a
1.5
hr
wait
without
a
reservation
or
getting
on
the
waitlist
ahead
of
time.
We
settled
for
lunch
today.
The
host
was
very
friendly
and
accommodating
grabbing
us
ice
waters
for
a
20
min
wait.
Our
waiter
was
soft
spoken
and
patient
with
us
deciding
what
to
eat.
We
ordered
a
lemon
butter
grilled
fish,
a
brisket
sandwich,
and
a
kid’s
meal
Mac
and
cheese
with
pulled
pork.
I’m
a
big
bbq
enthusiast,
so
I
kept
my
expectations
low.
Luckily,
my
favorite
items
on
the
table
was
the
pulled
pork
and
then
brisket.
Good
smoky
flavor
with
a
crusty
bark
(the
way
I
like
it).
The
brisket
seemed
more
lean
than
my
unhealthy
self
prefers,
but
it
was
still
good
and
even
better
with
their
bbq
sauce.
I
appreciated
that
they
buttered
and
toasted
the
bun.
The
grilled
fish
was
tasty
too,
but
I
thought
the
bbq
was
stronger.
The
peach
cobbler
was
really
good
too.
It
was
thinner
than
I
imagined
it
would
be
with
a
traditional
cobbler
portion
that
has
a
layer
of
oatmeal
and
crumble
that
was
almost
like
a
thin
oatmeal
cookie
(a
favorite
cookie
of
mine).
My
son
got
a
free
soft
serve
also,
which
was
served
in
a
cup
with
cone
on
top.
We
took
some
of
the
leftover
soft
serve
and
threw
it
on
the
hot
cobbler
to
make
it
a
la
mode.
Good
stuff.
