4 stars because I liked the food and Alex was very nice. She took her time to explain some dishes to us. The restaurant itself can do with a little cleaning. Not too bad. Will I go back? I will.

I am impressed with the new Sari Sari. Resto layout is aesthetic. Food was delicious (pinakbet and lechon kawali). Halo halo is to die for. Our lady server was attentive. Grocery section offers all the popular Filipino food items we would shop for. Prices are reasonable. Outside there is a patio with a playground. This is now my new go-to Pinoy resto in San Antonio. I wrote this review 3 months ago. Today a day before thanksgiving, I returned here for lunch with hubby and son. Our lunch of pancit, lumpia, lechon kawali, dinuguan and pinakbet was tasteful and filling. Halo-halo looked so delightful I kept taking pictures of it. I finally dug in.. what a treat it was! The resto was packed with lunch diners. While waiting for our orders, I had a chance to talk to Miggy, the hospitable staff who took our orders. She showed me the party room which can be rented for $500. Room has a 50-person capacity. For details, it is best to call the restaurant.

Definitely recommend. Grew up in SA when a time when there were no Filipinos, sari sari has always been an icon. Not there’s so much damn Filipinos lol it’s still the best place in SA. Food is good and fresh. Customer service is on point. Good ambiance. The restaurant definitely grew and new branches now. But success is always been the good food so definitely recommend. Make sure you get the crispy pata!!!

We finally made it to this side of town and got to try this place out! Definitely worth the drive 🙌 When you first walk in, it's the store portion of the business. Lots of Filipino favorite treats and ingredients. They even had some fresh veggies and fresh pandesal, which is so nice to know. Now, for my favorite! The FOOD! We greeted and seated immediately, and given drinks and a menu promptly. The menu is simple and sweet, but don't let that fool you, these dishes pack some amazing flavors! They have filipino breakfast served all day and I believe those were only $10 a plate, and they were great sized portions! I was happily surprised! Then they have other amazing entree dishes to choose from. So my husband and I both ordered the beef Tapa breakfast dish, and one Sisig dish! My husband is from Bicol region of the Philippines and this is one of the dishes they have, and after living there with him for over a year, I've come to love and crave these dishes. So to find these comfort dishes just made our day! There is slight difference to the dishes compared to the traditional way, but let me tell you, it still hit the spot and the cravings. I'm trying to convince my husband to take me back as soon as possible! Dessert! Now if you've ever had Filipino Leche flan you know what I'm talking about! So since we've moved to Texas I've been craving it. I've tried the ones they have in the stores and they don't come close! The flavors and textures aren't the same. BUT, here, they NAILED IT! I felt like I was back in the Philippines eating Leche flan from Red Platter or Max's! And the size of it is well worth the $8! It could probably be shared with the whole family, but when you have been craving it for far too long, you will want it all to yourself lol! 🙌 Aside from the yummy food, the service was great! Friendly, and attentive! We also enjoyed talking to Mel! She was so sweet and brought that friendly Filipina charm and kindness! Can't wait to go back! OBVIOUSLY! Highly reccomend this resturant! If I could give more stars, I would! 🌟

Sari-sari made me feel at home, with Dahlia treating us like family rather than some customer. The food was amazing and authentic with a market perfect for any home-sick native Filipino. 5 stars by far for the amazing hospitality and showing Texas what the Philippines is about.

Wow! The food I ordered was soooo good and tasted super fresh. Each portion of my meal, sides and entrée, was popping with flavor. I'm sad I hadn't come here sooner but excited to return for more.

This place is amazing! The store is great, but the food is out of this world. I ordered several things from the menu including the Daing and Lechon and they were fantastic! You can always tell when the chef is passionate about what they do and I tasted it in my meal. I honestly wish my stomach could handle more food. The wait staff was very fast and polite! I never had my drink stay empty. Seriously, give this place a try, I know I'm glad I did.

Absolutely delicious! We got the lunch specials and they did not disappoint on flavor or portion. Pork adobo was simply the best! The service was wonderful and I loved the little market as well

Our first time here. To the point. The market, Cute market. They carry the must have Philippine / Asian store items. Nicely stocked. Ok price. The restaurant, Cute restaurant, attractive. Comfortable atmosphere. Easy on the eyes with a Philippines flair. Nice music playing in the background. Service was great. Very friendly from when we came in. Our server was great. Attention to our needs, which is hard to find now. Very friendly and smiling. We had lunch today, the food service was quick. I had a lunch combo plate, chicken adobo and pork adobo. Comes with rice, pancit and a Lumpia. My wife ordered the Sari Sari Express and Sinigang. Good amount of food. ( we had several to-go containers!) Good price point. Breakfast served all day! That's what we need! Definitely a good place to go! Anywhere in the San Antonio greater area, it's worth the drive. Top it off with a delicious Halo Halo and you'll be completely satisfied!

MILITARY DISCOUNT!! Visiting from El Paso and had to stop for lunch. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a very friendly staff. We were excited about the grocery store as we saw plenty of snacks from the islands, UBE! We ordered a mix of breakfast and regular meals. The tocino was very good and we loved the dinuguan! The noodles were good and the rolls very tasty. We ordered a couple of Siopao (I was so excited I forgot pictures). If you are looking for a great meal in a family friendly atmosphere, please visit Sari-Sari -- you won't be sorry.

The service was amazing and the food was prepared fast and was delicious. It smelled like fresh baked bread as soon as you stepped inside. We had a little bit of everything and each dish was made perfectly. So glad that we stopped for dinner while we were in TX. If you are nearby, you NEED to eat here!

Soooo good! I’ve been waiting to come to this place and it didn’t disappoint 🤤 I hadn’t had authentic Filipino food since before I moved to San Antonio. I LOVE lumpias (Filipino egg rolls) and haven’t had them in over 10 years. I had driven by this place for years and always wanted to try them. We finally made it and the food was DELICIOUS. The spaghetti was meh… I’m not really a big fan of the sweet sauce, but the chicken fried rice and the meal I got (I forgot the name 😫 but it was pork belly with onions and some other veggies) (edit: oh I just saw it’s called sig sig) were outstanding. That Ube dessert was fun. Not my favorite but it all felt like an authentic food experience. We also swing by the market that’s the room over and got some cool stuff. Balut being one 😝 The only issue is it’s VERY expensive. I’m not saying it wasn’t worth the experience, but it won’t be somewhere I frequent because of the price tag. I love that they had a little playground for my son to play on! Definitely worth a try!

Absolutely delicious 🤤🥲 Can't really speak to the authenticity but this takes me back to my teenage years in Hawaii when friends parents/grandparents would cook awesome meals after school. The white jasmine rice pairs amazingly with everything, the meats are sauuuccyyy and the lumpia is 🤌 I'm already planning my next visit! I had the chicken adobo while my wife had the pork belly sig-sig. We both seriously enjoyed our plates. The dishes are huge so we had extra to take home. You could probably get away with 1 meat and 2 rice bowls to share a meal. There's so much meat! The waitress talked us into the Halo Halo Royale, which is like a Filipino raspa/snowcone. It was pretty good. Very sugary but a solid experience. Glad I tried it and would order again when I'm in the mood for candy sugar, ice cream, rice krispies all together. All in all, this restaurant quickly made my Top 25 list. So happy to have been introduced and can't wait to visit again!

WOW! traveling here for work and, surprisingly, the best bbq I have had so far. Serving is a pretty good size as well. It's definitely a place to stop anytime I am in the area.

So thrilled with the kindness and our server Andy explaining the menus and giving suggestions! Get the Pandan drink (don't be afraid) the bao app and BBQ Pork apps are all excellent. Get the sizzlers and enjoy the ambiance and Lo-fi beats!
