I took my dad to this rehab because it had good reviews but it was a bad mistake. The night techs were horrible my dad had to call me so I could call them because he needed help to go to the bathroom. The therapist hardly worked with him not very informative to the family members. The case worker not very informative . The doctors don’t really care about patients. He stayed there for 11 days therapists hardly worked with him he was mainly in bed. When he was discharged no improvement he was very short of breath could hardly walk next day had to take him to the ER he had gotten neumonia. I also tried to make a complain but they where either in a meeting or unavailable.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! I came in this hospital after a knee replacement. All of the staff are wonderful. The Nurses, Techs, and Doctors were right there to take care of me. I can not thank my PT/OT staff enough. Trace and Kara were there to help me get back up on my feet walking and get strength to move forward. The Directors and Charge Nurses were there if I needed anything. My Advocate: Alisha was great. All of the staff that took care of me became like a family to me and I had mixed emotions in leaving. May God Bless Them All. Love in Christ.

I spent2weeks in rehab following a fractured femur Overall it was a good experience with excellent PT/OT I initially had a problem however with the help of a patient advocate the problem was resolved. I can’t remember everybody’s name but I would like to give Big Kudos to Ricardo LVN, and Beleynesh CNA who provided excellent care and I could tell they liked their jobs. I would like to suggest that the nurse who does the discharge planning, including a review of meds to be taken at home write her name and telephone number on the medication profile should one have a question after they get home.

I am not sure how objective I am when I'm at my WORST - which was how felt much of my stay! However, the ultimate outcome remains a positive experience. The work was difficult for me because I don't suffer pain gladly, and a portion of the day caused pain. The staff was always supportive and encouraging and even offered a shoulder to cry on when the work was just too hard and progress too slow to be encouraging. I was near a nursing station and sometimes the chatter was distracting. Had I been healthy I probably would not have noticed, but I was not feeling good! The food is hospital quality - and better than some I have had, but sometimes my requests were mislaid. The dietician has my sympathy. What a task!!! And whatever is paid to the cable TV provider is too much! Channels are off again, on again, guide does not match shows, and the help sheet for my room was very different from what the system actually provided. But we have problems at home, too, so I understand that some things are beyond control. I resorted to my laptop in most cases. Internet access worked well. Finally, I shall remember a very caring staff who do what seems to me very difficult work with us when we are far from our best selves! They deserve gold stars - everyone of them!! And I am grateful for the care that has helped me get better. I continue to improve although I am still an impatient patient!

I had to show the nurse the results of my UTI results on my patient portal to prove them I needed an antibiotic then they waited 2 days before starting it! I was having LOW blood pressure readings one was 94/52 so I asked if we could go over my scripts again, which we did every time and NEVER remember bp meds because I don't take them! Sure enough, they were giving me bp meds!!!😡 I requested to soak with the internal meds Dr asap! When he came in, he said he had no idea why it was on my med list!!(??)The weekend tech left me laying in my urine for long periods of time! One point the nurse told the tech at 5am I needed to be changed, she didn't come in until almost 7am and said she didn't have time,, that I would have to wait until after shift change!!(??)🤬 This was just ONE incident with the weekend tech/staff! Then the food!! OMGSH! IT WAS TERRIBLE!! It was a very limited menu, there was one time in in 30 trays that the foods brought to me was right and that was a fresh fruit tray with yogurt! The "fresh" fruit was canned peaches, canned pineapple tidbits, sliced oranges! That was the only ONE tray that was right and I ordered this every morning! The rest of the times I ordered it with sausage! The times I ordered sausage, I would call down very it later, handed to me wrapped in plastic, cold! All the other plates were wrong, a spoonfull of food and one side (even if I ordered 2! The therapy/therapist were the only thing that was ok at this facility! I would NOT choose this facility again!

August 23rd was our first day here, we were welcomed with a loud clap happy announcement over the P.A. system you know where everyone hears it by all staff such a humbling feeling. Not a day went by we didn't get a smile, how you doing, need anything not only for my son who was the patient but for me as well (mom) they gave me the best accommodation right along his side treated me no different from him even with the meals included and suite. The nurses, techs, doctors, housekeeping the rehabilitation team, administrators all were all so helpful and gave us the knowledge to our life changing experience. My son is very grateful with a full heart of love and still has a lot to learn with his new disability, we've came along ways beginning with everyone here. Thank you all so much for everything for going above and beyond for him and me, we couldn't have done it without you all ❤️ Thank you Methodist rehabilitation hospital you all are the best.

Best place to have your loved one rehabilitated!! The nursing staff is amazing! Dr.Rappa and administration did an amazing job with our loved one! Wanda did a great job arranging our discharge and making sure we had everything we needed to transfer our loved one home. Mario and PT/OT/ST made sure dad was ready for home. Mom was able to ask questions on how to take care of him at home prior to discharge. We are so blessed to have our dad rehabilitated and back home! Thank you Methodist Rehab Dallas!!!!

My Dad had a recent stay at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital and the care was outstanding! His aide, Dominique, was one of the most caring and compassionate souls I've ever met. All of his nurses were great. One physical therapist, Caroline, was extremely helpful in getting my father back to walking so that he could return home. I normally don't write reviews but thought that this might be helpful to someone who might be having to choose a rehab facility for their family member. To all of the staff at Methodist Rehab...you have made a big difference in someone's life and we greatly appreciate what you do and the compassion care that you showed each day!

My mother was there. The only thing she complained about was food but once we took her some different food she was great. She was happy.

Top notch care all around - from techs, RNs, MDs, therapists, housekeeping, food services, admissions, case managers, pharmacy, and administration. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing inpatient rehab! My mom wouldn't have had such successful outcomes without Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital!

Was very disappointed with the facility. They were short staffed I heard the staff complaining about each other. Constant mistakes in documentation, not providing medication as prescribed and BIG violations of HIPPA laws.

I have no negative comments about my experience this past month in the hospital or rehab. The doctors and nurses were patient and knowledgeable. The staff in rehab were all awesome truly compassionate individuals. They love their jobs!

The attention to all the details of your health is fanominal. Physical Therapy/therapists were dedicated to my individual needs. Offered a good obstacle course which I was grateful for doing allowing me to gain experience needed to transverse all the stairs, ramps, etc. Far above than the other PT therapy facilities was knowl. The skills I needed were addressed which aided me to walk with this prothesis.

Everyone since day 1 has been nice, communicative and encouraging. They address concerns and their response time is very short. Its comforting leaving my loved one in their care!!!

All the staff was really friendly. The PT and OT programs were great. My needs were met and staff were always on hand to help if needed. During such a difficult time in my life, it was reassuring to have so many people on my side. They were so supportive as I learned how to function independently again.

My grandmother was admitted to Methodist Rehab for a TBI. She had a phenomenal experience with everybody she encountered including nursing, MDs, housekeeping, pharmacy, PT, OT, techs, case management, and admissions. The techs were attentive to detail and always assisted her when she called for help. She discharged from this facility with an amazing improvement in strength, balance, and overall quality of life. My grandmother is a very picky eater, but she kept talking about how delicious the food was. I'd recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for top notch quality care!
