I had a partial knee replacement done here by Dr.Gladnick. I can not speak highly enough of the experience and care I was given. Ross was the first R.N. that helped me and was absolutely amazing. I asked him a ton of questions and he took the time to answer everything, very professional and caring. I forget the nurses name who took me back for surgery because I was already kinda out of it, but she also explained everything to me that was going on and what was going to happen. My R.N. who was assigned to me once I was out of recovery was Travis. He was extremely patient with me and always seemed to be there almost instantly every time I needed assistance. I had a repeated issue that probably would have annoyed any other R.N. but Travis helped me with the issue and kept the same genuine friendly demeanor throughout. He really is a great asset to the team. My Physical Therapist was Chris and once again absolutely amazing. He must have spent almost 45 minutes just answering questions I had. He showed me 5-6 different exercises that I need to do to speed up my recovery. He also helped me walk through the hallways explaining the whole time on how to properly use the walker and properly navigate steps. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to make sure the whole staff at North Central Surgical Center gets the proper recognition that they deserve. I am overall extremely satisfied with the experience and would highly recommend using them.

I received a bi-lateral (double) knee replacement on August 10th and stayed at North Central Surgical Center after the surgery which was performed by Dr. Muller and his team. Dr. Muller’s surgical team did an excellent job in the surgery. My scar is already looking fantastic! And the nurses at the North Central Surgery center were the best! I ended up staying 4 days at the surgical center and the nurse staff during that time were incredibly attentive to all my needs. There was never a need to ask for a pain pill because they were right there to give it to me on the scheduled time and when I began throwing up, they were there to administer anti-nausea meds and anything else that I might have needed. I’d like to specifically mention the following team members: Christina, Gloria, Emmanuel and Lobo were with me for several days and it was as if I were their only patient. They were very generous with their time when I would ask questions and so incredibly concerned about my well-being. I chose bi-lateral so I wouldn’t have to go through 2 surgeries/2 recoveries/2 PT’s, etc but had I been required to do two separate surgeries, I know I would have been in the best hands with Dr. Mullers surgical team and the nurses and staff at North Central Surgical Center.

Had torn meniscus surgery. The entire staff was excellent from check in to check out. One nurse, as I was in prep waiting to be rolled back, happened to be passing by and she peeped in and said, "looks like you're uncomfortable." I was. No big deal but I had already had my IV drip in and couldn't reach the control. I was wishing my head was a little higher and she was attentive enough to see that. Wow. Every encounter was like this. When the anesthesiologist came in, he was equally great. If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm not one to sit down and do ratings, but I appreciated reading the ratings as I waited with my husband and I wanted you to know who are doing the same or will go here - It was a great experience from beginning to end. The professionalism (they know what they're doing) and the care were exceptional. It was such a blessing.

Check-in went very smooth, and at the early hour of 6 AM, everyone was surprisingly cheerful. I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse, Sae Hae, was kind, caring, and compassionate. She smiles easily, and did everything she could to make me comfortable. She offered me options that might make me more comfortable and also let me know that there is an extra charge for these things so if I didn’t think I needed them, I could skip them. She spoke of my doctor in a way that inspired confidence, I already thought he was a good doctor, but in that moment, it really made a difference to hear that. After my surgery, I told her that had a bit of a headache. She said that I was probably dehydrated and got me water. Then she offered me coffee and brought it with the perfect amount of creamer in it. In a short time, my headache was gone. I can’t remember the name of the anesthesiologist, but he did a great job too. I don’t remember feeling any pain while I was in the center, everything was done in an order so that I was kept comfortable. My husband was in the waiting room and they had desks for him to work at as well as coffee and snacks and they kept him updated. It’s amazing how important the little things can be when you are completely putting yourself in someone else’s hands. At North Central Surgical Center, they have created an environment that made me feel like my well-being was their top priority.

Wonderful facility- I've had surgery and two procedures related to my surgery here in the last four months and would definitely choose them over anyone if I have to have another. The staff is so professional, the nurses are top-notch and the facilities are so nice and modern. As others have said, the nurses are so nice and take such good care of you- they never seemed rushed and I got the personalized care that seems so hard to find these days. Everything from my pre-surgery stuff, to surgery prep through recovery and follow-up the best I've ever had in this type of medical situation. They are consummate professionals every step of the way and help make my health challenges the least of my worries, which was nice.

I had arthroscopic surgery here and it is a fantastic facility. My waiting and Recovery bed was right outside the main nurses station. While I was waiting I never turned on the TV I just sat there and listened to all the staff talking they were all so happy, joking and getting along I could tell that they really loved working there and therefore that got passed along to me. The care and efficiency could not be better! I highly recommend this Surgical Center Update 9.16.2021 I had another surgery here today and I can 100% confirm my last review. This surgical center is the best there is. They are super efficient, friendly and professional and they were PACKED due to the fact that the "big hospitals" are putting off "non-emergency" procedures due to Covid. Once again, I got right in and as I lie waiting for my team I didn't listen to the TV. I listened to the happy staff in the background I think I got the same bed as I was right across from the nurses station. This time I asked my nurse what she thought of the place. She was a former ICU nurse (hello! super experienced nurse here) and she said she loved working there. NCSC, whatever you are doing, keep doing it. I seriously hope I never have to come back here, but only because I hope I never need surgery again... Thank You!

I had foot surgery in July 2014, and I'm not sure if my experience at North Central Surgical Center could have been any better. From the moment we checked in, everything was smooth sailing. There was a "patient advocate nurse" who let us know exactly what to expect, and what my parents could expect in the waiting room before/during/after my surgery. Everyone was very nice, and made me feel at ease even though I was really nervous for my first-ever surgery. My doctor was great, surgery went well, and post-op I had the most amazing nurses who checked on me throughout the night (but didn't wake me up every hour on the hour). The facilities were nice, clean, and everyone we encountered was professional, personable, caring, and so many other wonderful adjectives. I really couldn't have asked for more! Thank you to Dr. Curry, the Carrel Clinic and everyone at North Central Surgical Center for making this experience as easy as possible!

First couldn't be more pleased with the service, care, and professionalism. The surgery crew/nurses were amazing, caring, especially with my fears. The room was large, super nice and sleeping accomdations for my husband. The nurses were patient with me, always professional and very gentle in handling me after my mastectomy. My care team, Celeste, Bridget, and Shirl took amazing care of me. They deserve recognition for their outstanding care. Geneida kept the room clean and sanitized. The dietician really worked to find food that I was interested in eating, that worked well with my stomach. Food was really good even though I wasn't interested in eating much. Parking was easy in and out. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

The professionalism, being organized and the care received from every single member of this process was unbelievable. I cannot express my appreciation enough for making such a stressful/essential surgery into a smooth process. From surgery admission to hospital release to follow up visits, I was put at ease each step of the way. I am so thankful that I experienced this journey with this incredible team.

Cile, (Lucille) horrible bedside manner. She was rude with my friend and after making a report with Brooke about 2 hrs later she was at the nurses station outside room 223 chatting it up with 2-3 African American ladies (techs, nurses) telling them about my friend who is the patient and what she experienced with her. Someone needs to put her in check and put her through a respect class. If I could this would be zero stars

I had an interview for a CST position here. I didn’t end up taking the position due to taking interest in another hospital, but the experience for me was amazing. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and always had a lovely smile. I’m not a patient here but if I need a procedure in the Dallas area I would definitely look into this hospital, it’s very welcoming.

Moma came in for port surgery… we came into suite 100 to a very focused receptionist who were able to get people checked in promptly… they preformed the surgery and Will P. was very attentive to my mothers wants and needs in recovery… ummm actually to everyone. The center has a great eating restaurant called Central Bistro. It’s easy to order food, comes out quick… and most of all reasonably priced, and very tasty. I would be very comfortable coming there again for myself and loved ones if needed.

Laura was my nurse November 30th in pre-op she was WONDERFUL. She was great getting my IV placed, getting me comfortable before my back surgery with Dr Dossett. She was personable, happy, caring, and truly a sweet nurse. Thank you Laura for everything you did in pre-op. The day nurse I had while I was admitted was GREAT she was on top of my pain and made sure I was comfortable. Reminding me to ice or get up when I didn’t feel like it. Over all the staff here was kind and helpful to my self and my family.
