King Fahd Islamic Culture Center and Mosque The Islamic Cultural Center (Centro Cultural Islámico), named after King Fahd of Saudi Arabia is a mosque and center for Islamic culture located in Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Built by Saudi Arab in 1996 on 36 hectare (roughly 80 acres) land donated by Argentine Government, and inaugrated in 2000, it is the largest and most beautiful Mosque in Latin America. The center has a prayer capacity for 1200 men on the ground floor and 500 women on the second floor of the prayer area.

🕌 is a big mosque, well located (M30, Concepción neighborhood, room prayer are spacious, clean and peaceful (not at all when some people use it as a living room or caffe and start talking loud). You can find a cafeteria with entrance outdoor and formal restaurant in the -1 floor. Library is full of books in different languages. Service administration is efficient and kind, and you find more activities as a interactive course Islamic culture (Friday and Saturday) , Islam rules and laws, many more activities for Muslims and not Muslims etc...

We had our first zohor and asar prayers here, right after lunch at the Al Zahraa Arabic Restaurant, just two floors below the Mosque. The size of the prayer hall is quite modest, but the area of the whole compound was exceptional, with a big garden and playground included!! I was told that this is the biggest mosque in Madrid, and rightfully so! Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to perform our prayers here, and may Allah the All Mighty offer more barakah on this Mosque...Aammiinnn..

Biggest Mosque in Madrid and one of the biggest in Europe. I went there for Salatul Jum'a, we had to wait in line outside the mosque until they opened it around 13:00. They checked the temperature of each one. You have to have your mat or sejjade to pray on. The WC and wud'u area was still closed because of Covid-19. The architecture design of the mosque is nice and inspired by Cordoba great Mosque.

We came today, and it really is a huge masjid. It's beautiful from the outside and inside. There's a lot of islamic history, but it's in Spanish, not English, so I couldn't really understand anything. The security guy was amazing and spoke English with me, and talked me through everything. They have a lovely Moroccan restaurant inside. Their food was amazing, and they did their best to communicate with me. 10/10 service and food. They have a library inside, too. The women's section is really big. It was clean but had no tissues to use after making wudhu. The architecture of this masjid is beautiful inside and outside. The men inside guided and helped me. The khutbah is at 2.30 all year around. We went in earlier and read some Quran (they have lots of copies). It was peaceful. The Womens section has speakers and a tv to see the imam. They also have chairs to accommodate people who are not able to stand for long. It was a great environment.

Beautiful opportunity to learn more about Islam, and a comfortable place for quiet reflection. Restaurant was a unique experience, as a non-muslim I felt very welcome.

(Translated by Google) I have been with a group from Arganzuela this morning, on a guided tour by Rafael. I liked the visit to this Islamic cultural center. Very interesting the whole explanation for about two hours, makes you understand and admire the Muslim religion a little more. The building and its different beautiful rooms, especially the prayer room, where you have to enter barefoot and the women with their heads covered. The visit is highly recommended. (Translated by Google) It is the largest # Islamic Islamic mosque and center in Spain, the interior of the mosque is based on the interior of the Alhambra in Granada, the entire exterior facade is made of marble brought from Almeria. Highlights its great minaret. It is visited inside, it is also worth it, it has six floors, exhibition halls, cafeteria, library, restaurant, etc., but the most beautiful is its #mezquita. The staff is very cordial, they answer any questions you may have.

Beautiful masjid well maintained and a nice place to bring non-muslims to educate them. They have a lot of information charts and a corridor where you can read detailed information about islam. Interior resembles the Mesquita De Cathedral from cordoba which looks beautiful.

(Translated by Google) One of the best Islamic places in Madrid is everything that a Muslim needs to fulfill his religious duty and teach his children religion and the Arabic language so that they do not integrate more into Christian culture and they lose a loss that parents regret, and then God Almighty will hold them accountable on the Day of Judgment and Punishment (Original)

A very beautiful mosque filled with Islamic history and various Qurans from around the world with the translation of it found in many languages showcased at the entrance. The mosque was big and had plenty of space for both men and women and the Wudhu facilities were very clean and hygienic. I would recommend visiting this mosque whether it be to find out some history about Islam or to pray

The mosque is largest and has a lot of open space. Went for Jummah prayer on Friday, and was quite disappointed that the imam did not lead the prayer. He just said the Azan and everyone prayed on their own. The bathrooms were quite dirty as well. The mosque is well maintained on the outside, but I didn't get the best feeling while inside as I was looking for a larger community feeling while going to the prayer. The classes and exhibitions were all closed as well. I would prefer the other mosques in Madrid.

I was only in Madrid for 1 day and looking forward to seeing the Muslim community there. Unfortunately, I had a bad exprience. The Muslims in Spain aren't as friendly as the non-Muslims (which is a shame). I tried to park at the mosque but was rudely chased away. When I asked for directions to alternative parking (being a visitor to the country who didn't know the area), the man just kept waving me away. Compare this to the multiple experiences I had with non-Muslims Spanish who went out of their way to assist me or show some friendliness toward me and my (hijabi) wife.

After visiting several historical sites in Spain, (Alhambra and the old Madrasa in Granada, the grand Mezquita-Cathedral in Cordoba, and an old Mosque that was turned into a convent in Seville and the old minaret)…. It felt very heavy on our hearts, while in Madrid we made a plan to visit the Masjid for a congregational prayer. We were able to attend the ASR prayer. From what it seemed they only open the grand hall for Jummah, otherwise the men and women pray in smaller respective rooms for the regular daily prayers. The security guard was nice enough to let us in to walk around and check out the grand prayer hall and read the educational posters in the foyer and courtyard. While in Madrid it’s a must to stop by. They also have a restaurant too, but when we went it was already closed.

Whilst on a short break to Madrid came to the mosque for Asr prayer. Beautiful setting of mosque at the bottom of hill approx 10 minutes walk from metro station. Spacious and extremely clean. Wudhu area very well setup: but filthy toilets cubicles broken locks, missing toilet seat, toilets that do not flush and no toilet paper or material to dry one self with! Certainly not fitting of standards required for wudhu! One is more likely to catch some form of bug detrimental to health! Inside mosque clean spacious and also a restaurant and inner courtyard. There is information centre and library facilities. Best of all women more than welcome as they have high quality areas for women. Security states no rucksack so students may possibly be turned away! Overall very peaceful setting! Major issues are the intolerable wudhu areas for men and for this it's star ratings are low
