An amazing place! There are not many good hotels in that area: most of them don't feel comfortable or even safe. This one is much more expensive than the average hotel you'll find but I feel that it's worth it! We stayed for two nights, got offered a free night tour and saw many animals during it: frogs and we saw a SLOTH 🦥. The hotel also has private trails which go to Rio Celeste. There we saw parrots, toucans and a snake. The staff is very helpful, friendly and nice. The hotel has a pool, Jacuzzi that we were able to use even after hours. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend it and would come back again!

We can honestly say that the Rio Celeste Hideaway is what we consider to be our favorite all-time hotel stay, anywhere. The amazing things: the staff 100% professional, friendly, just exceptional. The bungalow rooms: gorgeous, roomy, well appointed. The outdoor shower was fantastic! The pool - large, great pool bar, lots of loungers, tables, shade if desired. The food: every meal was great. The location: beyond beautiful - we loved the Rio Celeste river access, the hiking trails, the distance from the rooms to the restaurant was just right. The spa: one of the best spa experiences EVER. Thank you very much to Maria. We were so impressed with the Rio Celeste Hideaway Hotel that we actually planned & booked our next trip there on our way home - in the airport - on our layover!! Exceptional staff who must be mentioned: Jas'on, Mariano, Josue, and a special thank you as well to Katherine & Nelson (manager) - all were just fantastic and made our trip even more special and unforgettable. Thank you so much to all! We really had a great time on the Rio Celeste tubing adventure, our guide was Paulo and he was just awesome - professional, courteous, very entertaining - Carlos also made our day very special! We highly recommend it for all ages - it was the perfect combination of relaxing and floating fun!!

This was an amazingly beautiful hotel and a great value compared to similar properties in Costa Rica. The villas were spacious and had a large outdoor shower (and a large indoor shower as well) our deck was private ad perfect for sipping coffee while birdwatching. The night tour had the most amazing assortment of species that I have ever seen in Costa Rica. (I travel in Costa Rica several times a year and go on lots of guided walks with every visit). The hiking trails were well maintained and the river was so beautiful. We also appreciated the attentive staff, the amazing food and lovely pool/hot tubs. I will definitely return again!!

This is the best hotel/resort I have ever stayed at in my life. My wife and I stayed here for three nights, and the service that we received was absolutely exceptional. The staff literally treated us like royalty, driving us and our luggage to the room in a golf cart, giving us drinks, poolside, assisting us with seeing monkeys and animals on the property and went above and beyond what any other resort has ever done. The night tour was fantastic and we saw more creatures in one hour then I had any idea existed: 15 frogs, two snakes, lizards, and small mammals. There is not a single negative thing I can think of about our experience staying here. The room was very clean and the shower was amazing, the laundry service was very efficient. The food was absolutely incredible and my wife and I both agree that we would live here for the rest of our lives if we could.

This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. The property is amazing! The restaurant has great food! The staff (especially Ismael (I hope I spelled his name right)) was beyond amazing! So friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! He honestly made our trip to Costa Rica better!! Thanks Ismael! All the staff is super nice and helpful!!

Best luxury hotel experience we have ever had. We stopped here spontaneously on our honeymoon and are so glad we did. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks and a beyond friendly staff. Juan Pablo welcomed us in, loaded our bags, and took us on a golf cart ride to our room, stopping to show us scenery on the way. The rooms are exquisite! There is an outdoor (and huge indoor) shower, a deck to observe wildlife, air conditioning, TV, and a comfortable king size bed. Our bungalow was located close by to the river trail which was breathtaking. We enjoyed dinner at Kantala and were blown away by the hospitality and kindness of the wait staff. Cristian, our waiter was so attentive, kind and helpful. Our bartender Jose was beyond friendly and a joy to be around. We were greeted at the restaurant to rose petals on our table which was such a nice touch. This stay was worth every penny, such a memorable and wonderful experience. Absolutely incredible trip! From the time we set foot on the property until we pulled out of the driveway to leave, the entire experience was top notch. The vibe of the property is comfortable, inviting, warm and welcoming. The facility is immaculate and well maintained, and the staff is world class. Every person we interacted with was professional, knowledgable and cared about us. They helped to set up excursions and ensured we had everything we needed for the trip. Lastly, the food was absolutely amazing! Every meal we had was sublime. Can't wait to get back!

The stay was really good and service is great. Very good location and near to rio celeste falls. The pool is great and rooms were nice. The breakfast is pretty good with good on order options like pancakes, waffles, French toast, hot chocolate etc. Worth the price
