So happy we stopped on our way back to San Jose for this tour. It takes about 2 hours for the entire tour The gardens are stunning. Our guide Juan, was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the process of Cacao. The owner Brian helped make same-day registration easy. We were able to contact him via what's app. The tour and signage were in English making it easier to navigate. There is secure parking on site which made traveling with all of our luggage much better. I learned so much about Cocao and Costa Rican export business. You even get to taste the different stages of Cocao throughout the process. The souvenir shop has a variety of Cocoa, Coffee, and pottery. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone traveling in the area.

This is a great chocolate tour. Very informative and interesting. However, if you're looking for coffee, etc, it's not that detailed. We had a great time and even tried fresh cacao.

My daughters and I enjoyed our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot and the best part of the tour was experimenting with different flavors. This is great experience for the entire family.

Great experience. Juan is extremely knowledgeable & does a great job bringing the history of chocolate alive. The tasting of a bit of history is a special part of the tour. A great experience!

Nice tour, very much focused on chocolate with quite a lot of information on the origins and history, and the process of turning cacao beans into chocolate (we had expected a little bit more information on coffee as well hence why the 4*). We were lucky to have the guide for ourselves - we were 3 friends and tried a lot of chocolate with different spices, we were able to make our own blends to try for example we could choose from adding cinnamon, ginger, salt, lemon extract etc! Nice tour of the gardens with some information and fun facts about other plants too. Prices at the shop are a on the pricy side but that’s what you would expect. Overall it’s a nice tour perhaps a little bit shorter and less expensive than some others which might work for some.

Had a fantastic experience on the tour with Gregory! He's super knowledgeable about everything, loved his enthusiasm for the flora and fauna and also life :) Would highly recommend any tour with Gregory. Loved getting to try the cacao, chocolate, coffee, and sugarcane!

Excellent informative tour with Gregory. Learnt so much in a short time about the plants, pollinators and the processes involved and it was particularly great to see first hand the cacao in its various stages and of course taste it too!

The chocolate tour was excellent and exceptionally well-organized. We started with a plantation tour, observing cocoa plants, cinnamon trees, lemongrass, and more. The chocolate-making process was explained, and we sampled various chocolates at different production stages. Juan, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and humorous, transforming the entire tour into an amazing experience. This tour surprisingly turned out to be our favorite activity in the Manuel Antonio area!

So happy for this tour! Very informative! We really felt it worth the time and money we spent. So many information about chocolate, vanilla, and spices like cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and all spice. A lot of treats too, like the ice cream, hibiscus tea and traditional cacao drink. Beautiful place and a cute market to buy some of the products. I recommend it and is one of the tours I could do again in the future.
