A must thing in San Jose. Have a look at this ppace. Absolutely delicious flavored icecream. I can taste cinnamon and vanilla but the taste is difficult to describe, it's just delicious! Every single bite is heavenly and I didn't want it to end. It's also very affordable, like 1700 colones for a small cup, there are different sizes. This place is popular with locals definitely try it! WORTH🤑😋

One flavour but VERY unique tasting ice cream. Probably one of the best I have ever tasted. Went back the second time I was in San Jose.

this is the small size ice cream. it has notes of vanilla, clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. highly recommend!

As others said the service was not great. One guy was really nice but the one to take my order talked down to me and then rolled his eyes when I tried to hand him money, because apparently this is the only place I'd been in 3 weeks that you put the money in a bowl rather than handing it directly to him. Then after he passed the bowl back, he looked at me and sprayed his hand with sanitizer. The banana for the shake tasted old.

Okay so this place it's been up for quite awhile now and has a lot of history, their vanilla with spice ice cream is simply delicious and you need to try it out! Now, ai believe the price is a little too high but I guess it's okay, the costumer service can be improved so that the experience can be a total 10/10!

Quite busy but great service. Ice cream is not super creamy but more on the icy side. Vanilla with notes of cinnamon maybe nutmeg, hard to tell. Definitely worth the experience.

The grande comes in a big glass, more than enough for two adults. The ice cream here is more icy than creamy, so it feels a lot colder. The pequeno is a small wine glass, more than enough for an elementary school kid. Specify what number you want it made - - that determines the style... Plain, come, shaved ice with red syrup, red jelly, mixture, etc.

Really unique special flavor (really no choices. Just the cinnamon vanilla flavor). Service reminds me of 1950s diners in USA. If you aren't into dairy they also have a shaved ice with some kind of red syrup flavor. The shaved ice comes from scraping a huge block of ice. :)

Gem of San Jose! Unique “icecream”. You just have to try!In the central market. We had a #2 and a #20. My husband has it everyday that we are here. Must do. Staple since 1901. Very cool.

Small shop in the central market with counter seats. The staff is friendly and fast, lots of yummy treats to choose from but the icecream is divine! It tastes like pumpkin pie and vanilla icecream mixed together. Lots of delicious spices. You can order cups to go if the counter seats are filled. Highly highly recommend as a stop in San Jose!
