The location of the hotel give easy access. Aside from that the receptionists are really awful. There's a particular woman there that's very unwelcoming.

Been my home for the last 5 days. Close to the airport. Clean rooms. Timely and friendly service. Very secure area and quiet environment. You wont have issues with remote work as WIFI was super fast.

Bad hotel and bad treatment, especially the girl at the reception. They also stole my money and made me pay them twice. I will not repeat this experience again.

Safe and private location for the hotel. They do have a small bar with staff till 11pm. Rooms are in the smaller size, in my opinion compared to Ibis I've stayed in the European region. The kitchen serves late as well. Entree are just okay, not much choice for dessert.

Our stay at Ibis Cotonou was fantastic. The complimentary buffet breakfast was a standout, featuring a great selection of items. The rooms were comfortable and well-designed, typical for an economy hotel but definitely worth the price. They had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and the cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel is also conveniently located, making it easy to access local attractions, markets, and dining options. This prime location allowed us to make the most of our time in Cotonou. We appreciated the hotel’s focus on security. With 24-hour surveillance and attentive staff, we felt safe during our time there.

updated 27 dec 2024 The place i stay for 8 months. Full of memory, miss friendly staffs here a lot. Good housekeeping. I feel very safe to stay here. Good Location, waking distance to seaside amazon embassy. It end my business trip in benin. already stay for 1.5 months. And mostly will continue to stay until end of september 2024. Friendly and warmed staff, reception, security guy Location is very nice, walking distance to 30m tall amazon, nearby embassy a lot, room cleaning is nice. Breakfast provided. Swimming pool, gym is provided. One thing i concern most is my hotel room wifi is not stable. Overall experience is very nice.

Apart from being near to the airport, ibis does not offer anything more. The rooms are tiny enough to feel like a lock up, breakfast options are not convenient for everyone and interior of the rooms are as minimalist as they could to save the money. Not recommended unless you are right on the budget.

Spent a few days for work. The reception desk and kitchen staff are very accommodating. However, the hotel is not responsive. I booked an airport pick up and they didn't show up. I remained stranded at the airport on arrival. Also, room service is not a thing, except liaising with the nearby Novotel.

Great and affordable place if you're out in Cotonou looking for a place to stay.
