The hotel is homely , easy to locate, the environment is mind blowing. The view of the beach in sight , the staffs are very friendly and welcoming despite the language barrier.. I would visit again and again

Dont know about hotel but we have taken pool membership here, pool is good but restroom over there have broken locks which I have complained at reception twice still no action, and spa person was the worst, we had inquired about couple spa, she said on appointment they do that, took appointment and even called confirmed before starting from home but when we reached the venue she is saying, she alone will do for both,. Wasted my full one hour.

Hôtel du Lac is one of the bests in Cotonou. Clean high standing with so pretty view of the lagoon of Cotonou and Atlantic Ocean. Wonderful 😍👌🏾👌🏾

Great value for money. Located in the city center. The staff are very friendly and the room with balcony are the best. The only thing to improve is internet wifi quality, if you are traveling for business purposes.

The staff are very helpful. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. They are very helpful. The WiFi was good broadband speed for Africa, but not what Europeans or North Americans would be used to. The rooms were decent and reasonably clean. The linens and towels were clean and smelled fresh. The closets were too small for the hangers, but that was a minor accommodation. I stayed in two different rooms. Both were adequate. One of them had some smelly black water dripping through the ceiling above the shower. But there were two unaffected tiles on which to stand while showering. Considering the context, I'd say this was a good hotel, and I will be staying there again. Congratulations to the staff for taking care of everything I needed. -- A frequent traveler who has been in many hotels in many countries around the world.

I went here on a school trip when i was in primary school, 13 years later ive found it and all i can conjure is good memories! my first time staying near the water, seeing (and almost able to touch- if not for the bolted windows) the atlantic ocean from my room was so exhilarating and exciting

Nice hotel along the banks of the mouth of Lac Nokoue. The terrace is particularly attractive, although the ongoing construction works just outside the hotel do disturb the serenity of the place for the time being.

This is totally wrong, arresting a guest of your hotel because another guest drank too much in your hotel and mistakenly broke your telephone during a husband a wife misunderstanding.

Good location. Nice terrace and views of the river. There are a few grumpy waiters but overall people are kind and attentive. Breakfast menu could have more hot and non-bread options and improve on the coffee quality, but overall it's OK and certainly good quantity and good quality for what's offered.

I loved the room and the service. Really good for a 3 star hotel. It also oversees a body of water which is good. The corridor on my floor had a really bad smell all through my stay which was disappointing. Otherwise, it is a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend it.

Good place to stay, rooms space is not bad a little small, i have to take a suite to feel more comfy, staff is good, and the best is to come, they have the best food, lebanese food, pizzas (salamon is the best, i kept eating for 4 days), best view, i even left novotel restaurant to eat at their place, best taboula, don't try their traditional food with arachide sauce as i got poisened once (in the photos with rice and brown sauce), but everything else is more than excellent

This Hotel is nice inside and more outside... The Breakfast is great with excellent kitchen Staff... the Location from the front will deceive you of what this vintage piece has in stock. I had a great few days and will definitely go back.
