A wonderful well maintained resort. The pool is always welcoming and the service is the best in town. The kitchen has amazing tastes from local cuisine to libanais delicacies. This is a great place for a getaway or a afternoon of sun and fun.

I stayed at the hotel recently and I must say that at every step, I enjoyed my visit. The pickup from the airport was on time, room was big and spacious with AC and breakfast had ample options. I spent some time at the pool area before leaving and equally outstanding service. Polite and smiley staff, quick service and good food. Although the rooms are not modern, they win points as they are spotless! I would highly recommend staying at the hotel

Came as a pool guest on on a not-too-busy day. Great pools, kid friendly, professional service. Very prompt and tasty poolside restaurant. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Indoor and outdoor showers are available for rinsing.

Second time of visiting the place and I must say professionalism and seriousness is at their core. Friendly and easy staff to deal with. The place is Serene and has a nice view to both the city and the sea. It's worth it.

Great hotel in Cotonou! The rooms are nice and the service is attentive. However, it is not located in an ideal area as it a bit removed from central Cotonou.

An amazing hoteln by the sea side, the standard is amazing to have been here since 1975! And the service is good! I enjoyed the environment and the ability to take walks and swim and enjoy a spa session. It’s affordable and neat. Travel with your adapters if you have Nigerian styled phones as the sockets are European. I recommend

My stay at Hotel du Lac was truly enjoyable. Situated on the shore of Cotonou, the open-air restaurant offers a stunning view of the sea and estuary. From there, you can watch boats racing each other or returning from their fishing trips. The sunset is particularly breathtaking, with the orange glow reflecting off the river as it sets behind the bridge. The hotel offers a wide variety of seafood, which was delicious. The room and beddings were comfortable, and the hot water was consistent. Although the hotel lobby isn't very spacious, the large outdoor restaurant and pool area more than make up for it. There's also a sizable indoor dining area. Parking, however, is a bit tight. The front desk service was excellent, making the stay even more pleasant. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel du Lac if you're visiting Cotonou.
