Friendly owner of the place, but rooms and services not matching value for money

My friend stayed here and he said it was a comfortable stay. It had a cozy very much like home vibes. The staff were very helpfull. Oh, there are two very friendly cute dogs!🥰 They stay to themselves until they are called.

Really nice place to stay. I wanted only one night but thanks to Cédric (owner) and all the staff I stayed three more nights. There are different services, rooms are clean, there is a restaurant and breakfast included in the price. Compare to many hotel, this guesthouse have a wonderful atmosphere and the value quality/price is just perfect! Thanks to all the staff, I wish it will continue.

Handy place when you arrive from West if country and you would stay near place from where leave shared taxi to Gavinle. It's clean, safe place, basic breakfast served. But there is no reasonable restaurant for blocks around. Good feature is possibility to rent room for day use only (as before your flight home) for some 1/3 of night rate

One of the best guest house in Cotonou. I recommend it.

All the staff were friendly. There was wifi which ws nice, but the man who helped me to my room was extremely nosey. He was asking very personal things that were frankly none of his business. I was quite horrified that the guesthouse had a shared bathroom with strangers. As i arrived at almost midnight, i couldnt leave. The beds were dirty. The breakfast was just a baguette and tea. I was so uncomfortable i didnt shower. I will never stay at such a place in the future. The property also had huge dogs roaming around. If that was stated clearly in the advert, i never would have chosen the accommodation. No air conditioning in the rooms. There was one overhead fan that causes chest infections. I could go on and on with complaints. Such a waste of money. Next time I'm in cotonou I'll gladly spend triple for comfort and cleanliness elsewhere. The white people staying in that guesthouse must be extremely dirty refugees cause I dont get why anybody will stay in such a filthy place.
