Today I purchased (3) Philly Cheesesteak (12") sandwiches for a business lunch. To say the sandwiches were disappointing would be a terrible understatement. When you pay almost $80 for three sandwiches you would expect to receive something great. These were not. There was enough meat, onions, peppers, and mushrooms on each 12” sandwich to fill a 4" sandwich, so if we combined all three sandwiches into one we probably would have loved them. The flavor was great but the quality control in assembly needs to step up. I overpaid for what I received and feel taken advantage of. This was not the experience I've become accustomed to. I started going to Moochies on 800 South many years ago and quality continues to slip. Today's experience was bad enough to warrant a complaint. Hoping it gets read.

Moochie's offers the best meatball sub I've ever had! It's hearty and the blend of sub, meatballs, and marinara is perfect. The fries are decent. I'll probably try a different side the next time I'm here though. I've also had the Philly cheesesteak, and I recommend it. The magic is in how much they load up their sandwiches. Also, make sure to try their jalapeño sauce on anything and everything. Trust me, it enhances the meal. The service here was great. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They got my food out quick. Moochie's prices are a little high, and I'm sure it's a product of the economic environment we're in. Unfortunately it's a barrier to eating here more often. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and I'll be back again.

Finally decided to try this place out since I’ve heard such good things over the years. I was disappointed to say the least, the prices are outrageous for what you get. We paid nearly $12 for one six inch meatball sub. The restaurant was nearly empty yet it still took 15 minutes for them to get our one sub to us. When it finally came it was wrapped in so many layers it was reminiscent of Russian nesting dolls. After opening, the layers made sense because they added so much sauce it was no longer a sandwich, you’ve got to keep that from leaking somehow I guess? We had to end up asking for forks and knives to even eat this thing. Two stars because once we figured out how to eat it it was pretty good overall. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Moochie's cheese steak sandwiches in Salt Lake City was AWESOME!! It was an absolute delight to eat at this particular location. Sean, the young man that served  was an absolute rock star. He was very kind and professional. He was a great representative your company. The food was absolutely delicious. The fries were very tasty and they had three different types of fry sauce. They had a good collection of sodas. I went with the red cream soda, which was delicious. My buddy went with the barrel aged root beer and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a cheesesteak in the Salt Lake City area. I don't think you will be disappointed.

We are big fan of Moochies! We try to hit it at least once a month. The jalapeño sauce is a must on the phillis. My bride always gets the meatball sub. It is extremely messy and always entertaining to watch her try to eat it. The fries are surprisingly good. A day at Moochies is always a good day!

Wow this store was not great! This was hands down the most disappointed I’ve ever been from a mooches. Girls at the counter were chatting while I stood there. The sandwich has half the meat it usually does and what they did give me was burnt. I don’t live in Utah anymore and I always look forward to my visit to Moochies when I’m in town, but after this… At least the jalapeño sauce didn’t disappoint

Pretty good cheesesteak. It’s no Pat’s nor Geno’s. A little more expensive than I would have liked. $20 after tip for a 12 inch (very filling). Could be split by 2 people if you aren’t too hungry Staff was super nice, place was clean. I would be interested in trying out their fried ravioli or meatball sandwich

Had the cheessteak. Very, very good. The dining area is rather plain, looks like it was either in the middle of a makeover or in real need of one. But did was good, just a little on the pricy side. So would only come here occasionally at most.

Meatball sandwiches have always been good here. The jalapeno sauce is amazing. Definitely get some of that. The guy at the counter tonight was really friendly, super accommodating and gave a great experience even though I just came to pick up. Would definitely recommend and have already been coming here for years now.

I don't go here a lot, but it has always been consistent and delicious. I get the traditional cheese steak and fries. The sauces are really good as well. Be sure to ask for the cherry peppers when you pick up your order if you like those.

This place is ridiculously good. The food is so delicious. The French fries are probably the best I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this location but have been to the one in Salt Lake City as well and the service and food is just as good. Hollie is awesome, great friendly personality. So many reasons to check this spot out.

First time here, driven by tons of times and kept saying I need to try this place. I love cheese steaks and can be a bit picky. But moochie's totally delivered! They even have cheese whiz!! And then while I was there, of course I had to try the fried raviolis and they were super delicious too! The staff were very friendly and kind. Very welcoming which seems to be more of a rarity these days... Food came out super quick but it was made to order. And it tasted amazing! I love this place!

The food was good, but I asked for no onions and got so many onions. The onions are massive chucks and it was very unappetizing to me. The pickle fries were delicious but the serving size was so small. Service was fast, so that was nice. There are only two bathrooms, one for men and the other for women and it was occupied most of the time I was there. The price was high and it wasn't worth it.

Service was pleasant enough. I was not a fan of the sandwich I ordered but, my husband liked his. I had pastrami & Swiss. To dry. Husband had Philly. He liked it

We drove all the way to Salt Lake just for these amazing sandwiches. It did not disappoint! Love Moochies and we wish we had one in south Utah county!

Ordered a cheesesteak. Said steak, cheese mayo and tomato only and got the works. Had onions, peppers even though I cannot eat them. What a waste of $18. Didn't discover until I was 10 miles away. Asked for sandwich to be cut in half and wrapped separately and was given a plastic knife. This place has really gone down hill since I first started coming there.

It was so good! I got the 6" cheesesteak with mushrooms and peppers, with cheese curds as the side. It was very delicious. The spicy fry sauce was perfect for dipping the sandwich and the cheese curds in. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and food was tasty.

This is one of my favorite restaurants around! Love the jalapeño sauce and the philly sandwiches. Portions have shrunk a bit since the pandemic hit, but they still taste great (just a tad pricey). Make sure to buy an extra bottle of jalapeño sauce to enjoy later. Refills are a descent price. 😊

The fact that these were the MOST hospitable fast food employees ever only added to fact that this was the BEST meatball sub I've EVER had. I had the Atomic Meatball and was only bothered when it was all gone. The spicy fry sauce beats anything I've had in Utah since I've been here. 6 stars!!

This place makes a consistently great cheese steak sandwich. You can have it made like they do on South Street in Philadelphia, or you can mix it up with what you like. The pickle fries and special sauce are delicious and treat yourself to a big cookie while you're there!! Mmmmmm

We ordered take out last evening - Philly Cheesesteaks. They are usually so good. Last night the price had gone up substantially and we had hardly any meat at all on our sandwiches. Mine had wilted lettuce and mostly sauce. They were terrible. It was very disappointing. You guys can do better than this, especially when you're charging over $10 a sandwich.

Very yummy friendly staff I just wanted to say I got the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and they wrapped it with foil and the sauce was everywhere maybe a better wrap to hold it better Tysm NOTE; I Included a photo for reference

Just our first time here but oh my goodness! The Philly cheesesteak was amazing and the French fries were so delicious! We also shared a meatball sandwich that was really good. I would definitely go back next time we're in Utah!

I am definitely going back. Their food was amazing and I want to try a lot more items off the menu. I got the Atomic Meatball sandwich and it was fantastic. My partner got the famous Philly cheesesteak and that was awesome too. The fries were very good. And the sauces were the highlight of the meal. I think that’s why people like this place (it’s definitely what did it for me). They have fantastic sauces. The staff at this location were very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be going back quite often.

Food was great! If you try this place, remember you have to look at the menu for toppings. We tried the Philly steak it was great! The bread made it even better! Add the jalapeño ranch dip to make it even better! The employees were very nice and attentive. Only thing they need more tables and a working women's restroom.
