Joseph has fantastic customer service skills, he greeted my family with a big Hello. We let him know that this was our first time eating here and that we came all the way from Indiana. He said you definitely will not be disappointed because the seasoning on the chicken is delicious. We got our food and absolutely loved it. Joseph came over to the table to check to see if we liked the food and asked if we needed anything else. We love his hospitality and will be frequent customers. Great job Joseph and keep up the good work man. When you make someone feel welcomed at a restaurant and make sure they are satisfied that’s what real customer service is all about.

I don’t eat here frequently only because there are very few healthy options. But If you’re not into healthy eating, this is a good option. What makes these chicken sandwiches unique is what they put in the them, such as coleslaw and special sauces. These are very unique flavors as compared to regular chicken sandwiches because they come in different levels of heat, and they also offer different buns, such as glazed donut buns, which were not very good btw. Stick with the brioche bun. I would also recommend low heat levels for the chicken, otherwise it will be entirely too hot. All in all, it’s good for an occasional visit, it’s just not a healthy option.

By far the best chicken I have ever had! They cook EVERYTHING in beef tallow, which for someone like my family avoiding seed oils, is perfect

The food here is AMAZING! I ordered the Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich (mild) which still had a decent kick. It’s such a flavorful sandwich & I love the amount of pickles that are one the sandwich. They make sure you get a crunch in every bite. I also ordered the potato salad. It was a bit different from your traditional potato salad, adding a little tang to your taste buds. The beer is craft beer & absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

This place is sooo good. The chicken is crispy, fresh and of great quality. It’s juicy and tender and they give you a big piece for your sandwich. I had the spicy butter chicken sandwich with mild heat and cheese. It was amazing. My friend got the chicken and cheese sandwich with no heat and loved it as well. I also love the the fries as I can tell they are fresh cut. The customer service was great and the establishment was clean. I will definitely stop by again.

I'm highly disappointed. Stopped here one night for dinner, the staff was not friendly. The place seemed clean, went to place my order, and almost fell over. $12 for just a chicken sandwich. Not a meal, no drink, no sides. Just a chicken sandwich!! And to be honest, there was nothing special about the sandwich. It's ridiculous that my bill was close to $30 with tax for just 2 sandwiches. Needless to say, we definitely won't be back.

The chicken is really, really good. I recommend the regular sandwich. This visit I was feeling a little frisky & orders the donut chicken sandwich…. Yes, I finished it. No, I didn’t feel good about my choices. Something to try - but I don’t think I’d order again. Restaurant has a drive thru as well as sit down. Was clean and staff was nice. Will go back!

Very very very disappointed in this place now this is a place where me and my family frequently go to like literally all the time and to be fair I’ve never had problems prior to this incident other than they forget to put your sauce or items that ordered sometimes but yesterday we picked up some food to go and once we got home, the chicken as you could see on the video is gray and very old it looked like it had been cooked the day before And I have a restaurant business background, so I know what old chicken looks like anyway I took it back and explain to them how this was old chicken then a gentleman came out and said that’s not old chicken we don’t serve old chicken so I said explain this to me and he said I cannot explain it. I don’t know why it looks like that so I said it’s fine but that is old chicken and he insisted on saying it is not so I pulled out my phone to take a video and as you could see, he automatically closed the box, then offered to make a new one only after I pulled out my phone now I understand mistakes happen, but to insist on telling me that chicken is not old like I’m stupid and on top of that he has no explanation why the chicken looks like that that’s where I have a problem and on top of that once he learned, I was going to film it. He automatically closed the box. Then he went inside and brought someone else. The other person came out and said what’s going on I felt like I shouldn’t need to explain what’s going on again after all that happened but I did and he also insisted on the chicken was not old and again I asked him can you explain it and he also said no I can’t explain why it looks like that, but it does seem like it’s bad and only at that time, did he offer to make a new one I did not take the food I left very disappointed and unsatisfied with their treatment to me like I said in the beginning me and my family are regular customers but we will not anymore

I was so excited to try this place out and after I had, I was nothing but disappointed the price for two meals and 2 sides was just under $40, the food was horrible chicken, fries, their sauce absolutely everything! The only thing I enjoyed about this meal was the beverage. I recommend you hire new cooks or choose a different recipe, but that’s just my opinion. And you can’t knock it till you try it.

The food was phenomenal but it was kind of taken down by the staff. I asked a simple question, regarding their coop sauce as I am lactose intolerant and I wanted to know if it was a dairy base. The cashier was at first sweet and said she wasn’t exactly sure and that she would ask the kitchen staff. Which are right behind her and you can see through the large wall cut out. She turns around and asks “is there dairy in the coop sauce?” The girl working in the back shrugged her shoulders and kept working. I had already ordered and did not realize this ahead of time. Someone else chimed in and said it had Mayo in it. I thanked them and as I walked away the cashier said to the other girl “she should have asked that before ordering if it was that big of a deal” and they both laughed. I don’t understand why employees have to be rude. An extreme deterrent from the restaurant.

I thought I could handle spicy, so tried the hot. My lips were on fire, I couldn't even enjoy it. I was so disappointed as I was starving. A part of me felt like they got my order mixed up. But I don't know my go-to is usually the medium, and that is perfect for me. I typically order the tender plate but not a fan of their coleslaw. It's kind of bland. I wish it could be switched out for something else. And sometimes they can skip on the fries. Overall it is good chicken.

I got the Chicken Sandwich, Spicy level Hot, and seasoned fries. First impression: Everything was kind of SWEET. There was way too much sugar in the chicken's spice mixture, AND it had inexplicable little sweet pickles. Did I mention that there was a huge scoop of cole slaw ON the chicken sandwich? Like, I need a warning here, I thought I was getting Nashville Hot Chicken, they ain't doing that at Hattie B's or Prince's. Some BBQ places down south will put cole slaw on a pulled pork sandwich, disagree with that culinary choice as well, mayonnaise should always be optional. Speaking of Hattie B's/Prince's: Where's the spice at Fry The Coop? I ordered spicy, my normal at those above mentioned restaurants, and I get a whole speech about how spicy it is. Which is fine..if it delivered. My lips were left tingling, I actually enjoyed the spice level, it was perfectly labeled as Hot, with two levels above it..but the employee shouldn't be selling it for something it's not, especially after I showed clear doubts. Compared to the Nashville chicken places, the Hot was less spicy, but more specifically the flavor profile of the spice mixture was far less complex than Hattie's/Prince's; those places are spicy but also flavorful, and NOT sweet. Also, sour pickles please. Everything tastes like it was fried next to donuts, but nothing as much as these limp, soggy fries; they were like little funnel cakes with liberal spice mixture seasoning all over. It was an odd overall effect.

My first time here. I had the original mild chicken sandwich and let me say it was was the BEST I’ve ever had! The pickles with the coleslaw on top was amazing! Definitely worth the trip out!
