Great fun for the family. Room was not to difficult and was great for the kids. Very nice set up and clues.

I came here with my family for my Mom's 60th Birthday! It was great for the whole family, all ages and experience level. They have 3 different rooms with all different difficulty levels! My team did the Written in the stars room which has about a 50% escape rate. My little cousins are between 6-14 and they were on my team and they were able to help with most of the puzzles. We got out in 49 minutes only using 1 clue! It was very unique and the puzzles were the perfect amount of challenging and achievable. My whole family had a blast and we talked about it all day!

We had a family outing and here and we had a BLAST! This was fun for all ages. Crack the Code was very accommodating and helped set up the whole event. We got a group rate price which was generous. It was very simple to make dinner plans after because there are so many restaurants on oak park Ave and 171st. We will be back!

My husband and I just escaped Written in the Stars, and it was so much fun!! If you’re remotely into astrology, it added an extra layer of fun, too. We’ve done all of the rooms at this location and the rooms are unique. The staff is always amazing. Can’t recommend enough!

Came to this escape room in late September of 2021. We got the plant themed room to ourselves and were given an hour to complete the puzzle. It was an engaging and well thought out room with details that I enjoyed. I did like that the game attendant made very clear to us what was NOT part of the puzzle so that we didn’t waste out time looking in places we didn’t have to. I only had two gripes with my time there. One was the price. For roughly $25 a person it’s a very short experience at only an hour max. Secondly some of the small details that were meant to help us were not maintained. The flashlights in my case. We were instructed not to use our phones but one of the two flashlights we were provided in the room died as soon as we started our escape.

The owner, Laura, was great! She is so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. And it is such a cute space. We did the Written in the Stars room, which is the hardest room known to man, but as my niece said, “jokes on you, we are women and we got out” (lol, just joking). In all serious, this is a tricky room but not impossible and a must if you like astrology and/or astronomy. This was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back!

Had a really great time at Crack the Code! Game master was very into the room and added to the overall experience of escaping. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun time with friends or family.

Crack the Code Room Escape was great! We just had a corporate event here on a Tuesday. They opened special for us and made accommodations for our event. It was very well organized & precise. Because this business is conveniently located on Oak Park Avenue we were able to walk down the street to primal cut for dinner and leave our cars in their parking lot. We all escaped and will definitely come back.
