I've been coming to Perros Brothers for decades! Best Gyros in Chicagoland

Ordered carryout last Sunday via the drive-thru because no one picked up the phone. It wasn't busy, so there was no wait. -Super Gyros: This was gigantic and so good, on par with Mr. Greeks in Greektown. I got extra cucumber sauce, but I wish I got an extra pita too. This was two meals for me. I probably would have been happy with the junior gyros. -Broccoli Cheddar Cheese (side order): These are actually broccoli cheddar BACON bites and now my new favorite fried appetizer. -Philly Steak: This was the most disgusting cheesesteak I've ever had in my life. The meat was tough, chewy and cartilaginous. There wasn't that much beef either. The beef was cut into thick pieces and was very dry as well. There was some weird sweet cream sauce on it. Ugh so gross. All in all I would definitely come back for the gyros and broccoli cheddar bites.

The food is very good but the woman at the register are extremely rude so be ready on your way in the door!! Food is great they should consider hiring cashiers that are more professional other than the woman with an attitude of A barbarian. Goodluck We work hard for our money and shouldn’t tolerate people like this!

Great food and even better service 👌 😋 I ordered way too much, but I was fat and happy. I ordered a gyro platter. It was the equivalent of two gyros with a ton of fries. It was so good!👍

Classic place for cheap food that you can smash after a long day. We come here every time we are in town. Gyro plate can easily satisfy 2 adults. Really can’t go wrong here but the gyro and the Reuben seem to always be on our tray. Don’t forget a milkshake on your way out!

Staff turn over makes for not so great of service. The second time I went at night, ordered what I thought was a basic Greek salad. Hell did not put on enough lettuce in the salad. It's the main ingredient. Let's not forget the feta cheese, olives and tomatoes. Close to closing time so I couldn't take it back after I got home and looked at my food. What did I get slivers of lettuce onion and chicken. The worst salad ever.

What happened to this place? Used to be my go to spot for gyros but has become increasingly bad over the last several visits. Nasty greasy gyros. Part the the order always missing and the last order contained rancid feta cheese. Did they change ownership? All new people working behind the counter. I need to find a new place for gyros.

I have been customer since 2001. I am happy with the service. The food is still great. I spent $42 for 3 Italian beefs and a footlong beef polish with fries. The fries are the original thick cut not shoe string. Some sandwiches come with fries so, be careful when ordering fries because it can be costly. 10/23/20

I LOVED their Gyro. I ordered the traditional Gyro. I ordered the combo which consisted of fries and a drink. It was a ton of food for one person so I shared it with my brother. The Gyro and fries were made to order, hot, fresh, and delicious. They gave me tons of fries. That Gyro was loaded with tomatoes, onions, ect,. I requested extra Tzatziki sauce but it really didn't need it. I'm not from Chicago but I can truly say that was the BEST Gyro I ever had. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Grew up on this place and food is still great! The owners are still very welcoming and friendly, and haven't aged a bit! I love the variety of their menu, great shakes too! I tend to order the same things, gyros, chicken wing dinner, polish, super taco ( steak) but I tried a spinich pie and it was really really good too! This place stays in rotation of my favs!

It is what it is, a "greasy spoon" with lots of fried food. But it's good food. The portions are generous the staff is nice, and the value is a lot better than many other places. Their Gyros are top notch, just ask for an extra pita, because you get a TON of meat. One Gyros plate is easily enough for two people. Or one person with nummy leftovers. Highly recommended.

Good size portions, you get your money's worth. Inside has tv restroom and self serve drink station. I recommend the gyro, or philly cheese streak, or gyro cheese fries 👌I haven't tried the ribs yet so I'll be back for those

I ordered the chicken gyro plate 50/50 with two pitas. I had tzatziki sauce instead of honey mustard. I love having the best of both worlds. I had lamb and chicken. So yummy. It was how I like it, heaping. I had so much food that I had enough for 2 full meals. It also comes with fresh fries. It was great!! There's no photo of it because I was so hungry that I didn't wait for anything except washing my hands. Fast food that I love. I haven't had to add or subtract anything for any meal. I love this place.

The Gyro plate is everything.you can definitely share it because they give you alot of meat. The other items on their menu is good too. Oh and you can't forget the Gyro sauce,it's the real deal,not watered down like some of the other places.

Food and service is always consistent. Staff is dedicated and friendly. Orders are always correct. I would recommend this location for a pleasant experience and good food. Great job guys!

This place takes pride in the quality of their preparation of food. It looked amazing even when I ordered it for pick up. I got home and opened my grilled chicken pita and it looked just as good as if you ordered it to eat in. They use an extra large paper bag just to make sure your good doesn't get smashed up. Super clean inside the Establishment and great workers. They were closing in 30 min and their fries were still cooked to order. Not old fries. Great place, great food and fair prices.

Thank you for actually putting a decent amount of meat on your gyros. Other places in the area are barely putting any meat on these days. So I stop going to those places. And I like the well seared pieces of gyro meat! And also you are not cheap with the gyro sauce either. Thanks for making it worth my drive to stop at your place!

They're pretty good but that last time I went... my food was cold, it wasn't the usual (nice and hot); I was a little disappointed. Hopefully my next meal be my usual.

Good gyros

They have been one of my favorite gyros joints around for 20 years. I ordered the gyro plate with an extra pita and zatzicki sauce. I also ordered a medium Greek salad. I was very disappointed that there was no feta cheese on the "Greek salad". Come on guys, step up your game!!

Disappointed! My order of french fries was bad. Came back for a replacement and received another order of bad fries. When your greese is going bad your fries come out dark not golden. Dont give me undercooked fries to make them look golden just change your greese that you cook them in. Might have lost a customer because this isnt the first time but might be the last. Smh!

Classic grease joint with an extensive menu. The gyros is pretty good. I have been coming here for some time. The meat is cut thin and has plenty of taste. I wish they would shed their onions though The pita is fresh and chewy and the tzatziki sauce is smooth and creamy. The French fries are crispy and fresh. The prices have gone up recently. You will pay 13.00 for the super gyro meal (drink and fries) but it comes with plenty of meat. Try the chicken burrito, it is huge and tasty.

These guys have been in the business a long time, and they know what they are doing! It is a gyro emporium with all the trimmings. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, and remained moist. Good sandwiches all around!

I have been loving this place for a very long time. In fact, When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved the food favorites here. The Big Baby Special with the Fries was still Yummy after 20+ years . That says a whole lot especially today when other places have either closed or the food quality changed for the worse. Not here though ... You can be certain that you will enjoy your meal. I am a Fan of the Gyros here and the Tsa Tsiki sauce is always Fresh tasting and delish. On my recent visit , Mm y daughter and I ordered the Big Baby Special with Shakes. She had Banana which was very good and I had my favorite Strawberry. I highly recommend trying this spot. Side note, they also sell a local bakeries cakes ,pies and cookies which are very good as well. Try it out!

Me and my children stopped here hoping to get some good food on our way home..and oh boy that is what we got. Food was hot and delicious. Customer service was excellent Alfred and Jerry was so friendly and provided the best experience......I'm gonna definitely stop by again thanks guys

Great food. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Get a new speaker at the drive thru and some training for the guy in the drive thru. Burger king employees are nicer, service is quicker, food is just as good and cheaper. Learn to value your customers

Best gyros in the south burbs. The tzatziki is more like a cucumber sauce that's thin at times, but very flavorful and not overbearing with garlic. Perfect addition to the gyro sandwich, unlike other sauces which tend to take awake from the flavor of the meat.

We went for memory lane reasons on a Thursday night, around 830pm, and I was hopeful because they had a line. The temp of the food was somewhere between warm and sitting too long. Mozzarella sticks had the cheese all outside of them and had them sticking together and to the bag plus they were cold. Fries were cold. Half bbq chicken was good. Coleslaw was good. Philly steak was just ok. husband's gyro plate was good. Just wasn't worth $63. I won't be rushing back. I'd like to know a good time to catch them. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean so effort was there just not a hit for me this time

Actually went to the drive-up, so of course the atmosphere was great.. hahaha.. purchased a gyro it was delicious. The Server/cashier was wonderful, and very friendly.

This was my 1st gyro in over 20yrs...Wow! totally worth the wait. Amazing flavor, size and freshness. Plus the side of fries was enough for 2 people

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight. The woman who took our order in the drive through was quite rude.We ordered the #5 with Feta, and the cheese was spoiled. It ruined the whole sandwich, we tried our best to eat what the cheese wasn’t on, but the smell was atrocious. I literally threw up. I really wanted to like this place, but how can a restaurant not know when their ingredients are bad.

They are the first restaurant to cook my gyro 🥙 well, done I'm mean they asked me with no attitude is it done enough for u until I said it was. Great service and energy

Will LOVE this place forever! Didn't recognize anyone when I went in today, but the food looks and tastes the same.

If u are like I am, and want REALLY good food and service at a reasonable this place is for you! It doesn't look fancy, but it always delivers. I have had a good assortment of there menu items, and I can say they were ALL delicious... ESPECIALLY the french fries! There are a good assortment of menu items: They have the usual burgers, chicken, shrimp, but also have Gyros, turkey burgers, BLT and pork chop sandwiches. And if u remember a soft drink called Green River from your childhood, they have it as well!

Got my favorite fat people comfort food, gyro. well, italian beef is 1a. Anyhow, they give a more than generous portion of gyro meat, a good takiti sauce and fresh onions and tomatoes. Always consistent and delicious. Will continue supporting them.

Food was really good. Got catfish sandwich on pita bread. The fries were really good and nicely seasoned (salted). The young lady working the register was very nice and helpful. Even one of the cooks (maybe owner/manager) was very friendly and explained some questions I had about other menu items. I will certainly be returning! Thank you

Hands down the best Italian beef. They have ruined all others for me! I will only go here for Italian beef and ribs!

Simply put, fantastic! Best gyro and fries in the south suburbs. Quick and very nice. The woman who took our oder is hard core. She makes the experience that much better!

It was my first time there, I went through the drive-thru professional service.

Food was hot but the chicken gyros meat in some sections was rough.

For a small food spot this place has the widest and largest different menu options which I think is a good thing because there are a lot of foods to try. This is the first spot I saw while looking for a place to eat that really took my interest. It has a limited parking and I was really thankful that there is still a spot available when I went in here. As I said, it is small and there are also limited tables inside which I think is enough based from the size of the place. At first, I really thought that they only have gyros and other Greek food based from their name but I was surprised to know and to see their menu which has a lot of different options including burgers, sandwiches and the likes. I just order a gyro plate and a drink. Service is kind of slow and it needs a good patience waiting for the food. The gyros plate of them has a huge portion, the meat is perfect when it comes to the flavor and texture, it has two pitas which is I do not know but I did not really like their pita, and it also comes with fresh fries that are crispy and well-seasoned. It was a good one and I definitely enjoyed the food and I might go back again.
