A park that is very suitable for family leisure, where you can play volleyball, row boats, and have barbecues. It's great! The children love it too much

Loved it! It's beautiful in the fall when leafs change colors. Certainly coming back to enjoy the walk arount the river again when it's less windy and cold.

I’m just in love with this park. On the river. So peaceful. Happy place to be. It is my happy place. On the weekends they have weddings and events and fun festivals. The music gets shared with all! There are activities on and along the river. The playground makeover is stunning. The kids love it. I’ll update with pics later when summer camp is over. There’s a clock tower. Multiple pavilions for rent (or use if they aren’t reserved). Ps was a perfectly wonderful spot to have a coffee and donut morning chat with our book club gathering.

This Park is nothing like I have seen before. The community and activities are absolutely AMAZING! My client hired me to create a balloon decor and it was nothing more than spectacular. Can not wait to come back.

Potawatomi Park embodies all that is St Charles… Family fun , a welcoming atmosphere and beautiful scenery. My daughter loves the “exercise park” as she calls it, a unique outdoor gym/weightlifting designed park for young adults, two additional playgrounds, paddle boat rentals and more

It’s one of the best parks along the river front. It has something for everyone. All ages. It has tennis courts, an outdoor gym, so many places to have a picnic under a shelter, or under beautiful trees, and 2 really nice play area for the kids. Sand volleyball area. Waterslides in a pool and golf course. I love taking their Ferry boat tour on the river every summer. They also have kayaking, and fun Swan paddle boats they also have a bocce ball area. This is seriously my go to place to have fun and to workout. Bathrooms are super clean. They also have a cute mini golf area with food. Make sure you take a picture with the Humpty Dumpty sculpture on a wall. Also, it’s dog friendly.

Pottawatomie Park, oh boy, try saying that name five times fast—I couldn't even pronounce it right after a whole day of trying! Every person I asked had a different pronunciation, and I was left scratching my head. But hey, that was the only challenging part of my day! The rest of my experience was an absolute hoot, let me tell you. This hidden gem is right under your nose, smack dab in the center of St. Charles. If only I had known about this place earlier, I would have been a regular visitor! Picture this: a massive park with an even more massive lake flowing through it. They've got it all—small private boats, rental paddle boats, and even a cute little cruise boat for a delightful river troll. But wait, there's more! There's this bridge, oh my gosh, this bridge! It spans the entire river and is designed with kids in mind. They can run back and forth without a care in the world, no fear of falling off. Plus, it's like a sanctuary from the scorching 89-degree weather. Once you step onto that bridge, the shade and gentle breeze make it hard to leave. You'll find yourself just chilling there, watching the world go by, and boats passing underneath. Ah, bliss! Now, imagine being there with your family for a picnic—it was an absolute blast! The park is filled with lush green trees, and there are playgrounds for basketball, volleyball, you name it—they've got it covered. I kid you not, it felt like stepping into a magical garden, surrounded by nothing but green grass and trees in every direction. The place was buzzing with people, yet it still felt peaceful, like our own little slice of paradise. I can't thank enough whoever is responsible—whether it's the City of St. Charles, Dupage County, or Kane County—they're doing a fab job! This park is a hidden oasis, a half-hour drive away for me, but worth every minute on the road. So, if you're ever in need of some relaxation and a fantastic time, Pottawatomie Park is the place to be! Trust me, you won't regret it.

This is simply a fantastic park. Bring your family, friends, frisbees, and a picnic basket — you can’t go wrong. Enjoy the view from the tower, play a round of mini golf, swing your little one in the swing, or take a nice long walk or stop by on your bike ride. Enjoy! :)

Took out my paddle board on the Fox River by Pottawatomie Park today. They have a dock on the park side just past the bridge. Park by the City Hall and walk to the dock. You can also access the River on the other side by Boy Scout Island. There’s a nice place to the right of the ramp when facing the River to take out or put in your kayak or paddle boards.

Absolutely beautiful, tons to do, parks for the kids, going on a date night want a nice peaceful walk or a paddle boat ride, this park is definitely a must. We went online and order tickets for the 45 minute boat ride, tickets were 12.00 and every bit worth it. Very relaxing and what an amazing view you get. Plus there are a lot of great places to eat in the area. Highly recommend

Loved it! Went here twice with my mom and it was really nice, view is amazing! But the spiders. Dear God the spiders. There so many and everywhere, if you have arachnophobia BE CAREFUL OR JUST DONT GO. So many bugs...and there's no rails on the river side so R.I.P if you fall in. TW: the type of spiders in the park

Everyone at this park was pleasant and helpful. Every person we came across was smiling. The Paddle oat "cruise" was enjoyable. A very peaceful trip on the Fox River.

This review is for the first playground right after the tennis courts. We like it here well enough. Though it is frequently full of preschoolers being spoken to meanly or laughed at by their teachers, and parents of only young kids with young kid energy, and attitudes. Parents of older kids will get what I mean 😂 We will last a little while in this one with my younger kids happy enough but we will eventually move on to what all my kids feel is the better playground, the one further into the park. Which I forgot to take photos of... I'll come back and update. There are lots of places to sit, a large covered picnic table area, a bike repair station for the trail, flushing restrooms.

It is a very nice place, there is a parking lot, you can camp, have a barbecue, there are tables, a volleyball court, a park for children, you can fish, ride a boat and share with the family, next to the park is the water park, in short, what I recommend to have a good time with friends and family.

Beautiful park with so much to do and just a short walk to downtown St. Charles where you can find so many places to eat.

This is a great park for that perfect stroll on any day. On hot days the tree's give the perfect shade to almost the entire park and the river can help with a cool breeze off the water as you walk along the river to look at the riverboats you can also have a ride on. The park is host to a few riverfront events with merchants along the river path. The baseball diamond is really cool my dog loves playing fetch in the outfield. They have 2 separate play areas for kids. The community center is a very beautiful building to enjoy with many amenities to enjoy. IF YOU HAVE A DOG IN THE PARK PLEASE CEANUP AFTER THEM.

Nice park but somewhat overcrowded. Restrooms extremely dirty without any paper, nor handsoap.

The park has been greatly improved over the years. It's full of various activities and picnic places. You can walk, fish, play, grill and enjoy the beauty if the lush greenery and stunning water lilies near the riverwalk.

Amazing park! Love the overall atmosphere of this particular park. I used to love coming to the Scarecrow Fest every year when I was younger. I also enjoyed doing the boat ride here as well!

We loved photographing Colin & Kela's Wedding here at the park! We hope these photos help you see what your ceremony may look like if you get married here! The reception was at two brothers Roundhouse, not to far away from here.

A beautiful park with playgrounds accessible for people with disabilities. The picnic area is shady, great for children and families.

Great place for a day outdoors. Whether you just want to have a picnic at the park or hit the water slides the decision is truly up to you. They also have paddle boats and boat cruises you can enjoy on the river. If you're just looking to tee off, they do have a nice 18 hole miniature golf right next to the river.

Beautful park for people to walk, run, bike, play or just lay down and enjoy the scenery. There is something for everyone to enjoy. There is a large playground for the kids, lots of shade in very sunny and hot days. There are a couple of paddleboats to enjoy the views of the Fox River. Native Plant Garden offers a good glimpse of how beautiful the nature is in this area. Recommended for people in all ages!
