Visited 10/2/22 11:30 am. like other reviews, the service is slow. It wasn't many customers. It took over an hour to bring out 2 order of fries. 20-30 mins to bring Mimosas. Some food items were great! The beef sliders they forgot the cheese (added lettuce) the Spinach Dip or the Queso ( trio dish) wasn't tasty.

Loved this place! My only complaint is right off that when we were seated the hostess just kind of plopped us down and walked away. She didn't give us menus or tell us there was a little sticker on the table for us to scan. She barely made eye contact. Maybe we should already know about the menu situation....but we didn't. We just sat there. I did see paper menus at the nearest server kiosk so I know menus were there! It took the waitress awhile to get to us, which was absolutely understandable as it was busy and she was doing her best. But we could've been looking at a menu. The hostesses really need to do more to be warm, welcoming, and helpful. Other than that our experience was amazing! The chicken nachos and potstickers were a great start. My daughter enjoyed her calamari and I loved my hot honey chicken sandwich (I was disappointed that you were out of pickles though....that's my favorite!) The hot honey on the sandwich is genius....brilliant! The perfect sweet and spicy! Our waitress was excellent and the restaurant has a lively, happy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Out celebrating a special friend's 46th birthday. I loved the atmosphere. The games were on the bar and we grabbed a table in the corner. The late night menu was simple so I ordered the chicken nachos and a cranberry Vodka. The food came quick and the drink was just right. I felt a buzz immediately.

Sometimes you need a delicious Bloody Mary or a dirty martini after a shopping spree! Clayton, the bartender was an absolute gem!!! The cocktails he made us were on point and the service was extraordinary!! Also, if you need an app recommendation- the spinach and artichoke dip was delicious as well as the fried pickles! Come see Clayton for cocktails and absolutely fabulous service!

We had a good time. We got seated fast in the corner which was great for social distancing. Alot of people including the bartenders didnt have their masks on or their werent pulled up properly. They were super busy so it took a little bit for our food and drinks. They seem to have changed the menu. The Calamari was super spicy with more peppers than Calamari, the chicken wings were good but seemed frozen and just heated, not fresh. The Tacos were Amazing and fresh! For the Entrees everything seemed to have Quinoa in it so that was a turn off, so we just ordered appetizers. Overall it had music amd a good vibe. Would definitely go again and would love to sit outside.

Bar Louie is a good place to hang out. Our waitress was excellent and our food came out hot and fast. The prices are pretty reasonable. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of a sanitary issue. At the bar, after drinks were being made and sent out, I watched a waiter walk around the restaurant and then walk over to the bar and start putting pineapples on sticks and in the drinks without washing his hands or wearing gloves. It wasn't just this one waiter either, it was multiple so that's a little frightening.

Always a great experience. Good food, great Lemon Drops and good music in the background. Pre Covid the hosted GREAT LOCAL BANDS. This was the place to be for sure!

Take the bitter with the sweet. Bottom Line Up Front: the service and drink specials keep us coming but there is a lot to improve. We have been coming here for about two years and have had about half the menu. So we have a lot of experience with this place. The waitresses and waiters are among the best we have ever seen. They remember our orders over multiple days, are highly attentive, but still know how to not be overbearing and allow us to enjoy our drinks without have to answer if we are okay every ten seconds. The bartenders are consistently bad. We have never sat at the bar so their service may be different if their tip is on the line, but they consistently under-poor both wine and beer (though they are better with beer). It is to the point where the wife and I have wondered if they are being instructed to do so due to Covid. The kitchen is wildly inconsistent. My wife normally orders the nachos and I swear we get a different amount of food and mix of toppings every time. One time the toppings were so sparse that we order a second plate of nachos which has toppings so piled on that the two of use could barely finish it. They have miss-cooked eggs during brunch (how hard is it to do over easy?) and then been great about it when we came the next time. We have had some great food here and some terrible food here all while ordering the same meals. The happy hour specials are great and really the reason why we come here. The brunch mimosa pitcher are a bargain (also made inconsistently; had a pitcher of orange juice for our first round once). I have found that if we address the issue with the awesome wait staff the problem is fixed. This place could desperately use some quality control.

This is a pretty nice bar. Good selection of food and drinks. When you tryto get a table, they will give you a longer time but dont fret, it wont be that long.

Her work ethic is astounding and her friendliness is so welcomed in this day and age. One can only hope the company recognizes what a shining star and asset this restaurant has in her …. I encourage you recruiters to reach out to her … although this BL is by my home so I am advising against my personal interests here. I came in on a Friday with some friends and waited about 15 minutes for someone to seat us. A customer at the bar hollered at us and told us there was only 1 server and we had to seat ourselves. Felt bad for the server considering they were pretty busy. Management should do better to make sure things like this don’t happen.

Loved the food!!! But not the service. The host took a while to seat us, we were trying to make it to happy hour. Finally got seated, but was told by waiter that we missed it, even though it just turned 7pm, even though we were waiting on them to seat us. The drinks were yummy and the food again, was amazing. But with poor wait staff, it can easily repel people from coming back.

There was ONE waitress working the whole floor and she was doing host duties as well. Considering how over worked she was, she did exceptionally well. The kitchen staff came out to explain they too were short staffed and food would be coming out as ready and slower than normal. I was very impressed they took the time to do this. Management needs to figure out a better way to staff the restaurant.

The service was decent, but when it gets busy you can definitely tell, takes a while to get a drink and there was not Hostess to meet and greet people. Shifted from bar to a table and waitress was definitely not a people person. She could truly use some training on how to be more friendly.

Stop by for a late lunch on Saturday, 11 November 2023, and enjoyed a very delicious meal. The restaurant was short on staff and we waited 20 minutes for a waitress. Great atmosphere and awesome food. Please do a better job with managing your staff.

Very disappointed. I placed an order for nachos, extra caso, and got no caso at all. Basically just chips and chunks of chicken. It was gross. And I also ordered a toasted cheese sandwich which was cold and not good 😐 I spent over $50 on basic stuff that was not at all worth it. I never leave bad reviews but boy what a waste.

I went in for the food, although the Voodoo Ranger on tap was a surprise. Calamari was really good, along with the wings once you tasted them. For me, the service was where the shine was. I'll come back simply for THAT!

We celebrated my birthday (August 1st) at Bar Louie! First, the place is amazingly beautiful! We went around lunchtime. The menu was kid-famiky friendly. We had a great booth seat. I ordered a “Strawberry Margarita “, 🍅 tomato basil soup, grilled chicken Quesadillas. Yum! Delicious! Wonderful! The area that the restaurant is in has plenty of parking. Other stores, shops, businesses and restaurants are in the area also! I give Bar Louie a 10+. Fast service! Friendly staff with smiles! Great prices on the menu! I am definitely going back to Bar Louie’s!

Stopped by for some happy hour drinks after work. Staff was great even though they were actively getting ready for a busy Friday night. Great drink specials and ok food...just leave before 9 due to the constant issues they have with crime

Got the Martini, buffalo chicken flatbread, chicken nachos and fried pickle. Loved the food and drinks. Amazing ambience with surprisingly a good amount of people for Wednesday at 5PM. Our server Courtney was awesome and speedy.

Stopped here after dinner for drinks by the fire! About 9 pm on a Saturday evening. Thought there was karaoke but apparently, not at this location. Open seating by the fire and we were greeted by a waitress who doesn't normally seat folks but saw us waiting just a bit, maybe a minute and a half? Offered to seat us close to the firepits until one clears but we just joined some folks who graciously let us sit with them! Don't remember the drink name but it was pineapple flavored and yummy. Service was fun and attentive! Wish I could remember her name!

The drinks are okay but I ordered a fish & chips and it was ALL CHIPS & they were cold! I have had chicken nuggets bigger than the three pieces I got that were $17 and the waitress looked at me like, this is okay." 😳 Drinks are good but my dinner left me not only unimpressed but upset. THEY KNEW BETTER than that. 😖 THIS was the worse Fish & Chips order EVER! By a large amount You've been advised.

Went for a happy hour drink with my friend. It's a great after work place to grab a drink. Great happy hour. The spinach artichoke dip was on point. The flatbread was decent also. Good service. Plenty of people working and keeping the place going smoothly. I would say only it's a shame that they all have to share tips behind the bar because some of them take the extra effort to make your drink delicious and some don't. Wish the ones who did got rewarded

Nice atmosphere and service! I ordered shrimp tacos. Wasn't my favorite. We also ordered bourbon wings. Too much sauce for my liking. My hubby had the bourbon bbq burger. Said it was good buy a dry. It wasn't cooked to his specifications. But, loved the vibe of the place. Great drink menu!

The server for the patio never acknowledged us we were seated by the bartender, and the bartender waited on us while outside. When the patio server finally came outside, it was to serve everyone else but us. It's very frustrating. The brunch menu was really good. The avocado toast was amazing, and the bartender treated us to a mimosa. It was very much appreciated since it wasn't her fault, the patio waitress wasn't doing her job. She is the only reason why i would come back. The bartender's name is DESTINY. I highly recommend her.

My husband and I frequently come in for happy hour and we always enjoy our food and drinks. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly. Tonight, Clayton was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the new drinks and other items on the menu. Great personality and ver professional. We will definitely request to sit in his section the next time we visit. I also appreciated the manager stopping by our table to see if everything was ok.

So I have been to many Bar Louie's but this particular one in Stonebridge was not such a great experience. Christmas eve night me and my friend wanted to get a quick bite to eat. when we walked in at 9:13 the host told us to hurry and order because last call for food and drinks will be at 9:30. I don't want to ramble on but the customer service was just terrible. I just very upset on how everything was going we took our food to go. when I got in the car and took a look at the food it looked and tasted it horrible. I will not be returning back to this location.

I was a little hesitant at first to go out with the pandemic going on, but once I arrived I was greeted by very friendly faces. My server, Alex, made me feel welcome and assured me of the all the precautions being taken for my safety as well as everyone else's. The food was nicely presented and flavorful, the service the server gave me was amazing, and the overall experience was great. Will definitely be going back!

Aye the food was on point.. been here a few times.. sampled all the wings.. the nachos.. salmon sliders .. pot stickers... flat bread chicken pizza.. ALL on point.. super A1. When I tell you our waitress was very pleasant she was knowledgeable she was patient she never rushed us always came and checked on us and did it with a smile (despite having a mask on) she made us feel welcomed like we had come to her own home for dinner. Being only in the Woodbridge area temporarily due to the military, Bar Louie is somewhere familiar to go to when you want a good restaurant and drink setting. My experience would not have been what it was if wasn’t for Brooke (the rest of my experience wasn’t bad at all, she just made it)! She is so personable I felt like I was visiting with a friend shortly after introducing herself. Her ability to connect with people and provide exceptional service did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much Brooke for your hard work, I’ll definitely be back to see you!

For Saturday Brunch, Dominique and JJ never disappoint. Every weekend my cheat meal is a double bacon sandwich with $2 mimosas. They are attentive and never keep us waiting. The atmosphere is enjoyable. Come join us on Saturday and Sunday for Bar Louie brunch.

Bar Louie is a dim lighted gem in stone bridge. The food is very good however due to covid they are currently only serving a limited menu. In addition to that I would say it is a bit on the pricey side. My boyfriend and I order “to go” most the time due to the pandemic - the bartender usually is in charge of taking and executing the “to go” orders. If you order to go in the evenings the wait time is usually a little longer than expected which is understandable. This place is very popular in the evenings which is why I personally can see why others reviewed the staff as slow and or rude however I personally have not had any issues with their staff.

Tried this place out through a local food delivery company. The items arrived and let me tell you- this restaurant is miserly on what they give you. We counted a small amount of fries, like a palm full. The pulled pork sandwich was mostly sauce and coleslaw, not meat. The quesadilla looked like a $3 version from Taco Bell, not even close to the $12 version you see on the menu at Bar Louie. I called and emailed them, they offered no "fix". They didn't respond to the email. Stay away, $70 on what is $25 worth of food, max.
