We walked all along the cliffs and along the bird trail , saw a few seals and amazing coves and views along the way. The path is easy to follow and there is parking about 250m from where trail starts. It is quite safe , path is stable and warning signs where you should not venture to close to the edge. It's an easy walk , pretty flat and we walked for an hour and had not reached the end. We stopped for quite a few photo stops. We saw many walkers including young children so it is quite safe and can be a family outing

This cliff walk offers great views and it has 4-5 different circuits to choose with for a walk based on the distances. It has seats on its way at different intervals for a break if needed. The walk way is slippery so a good gripped and comfortable boots is a must. This cliff walk is good one for kids and with pets but with extreme caution. The cliff walk has car parks in 3 different places. It doesn’t have a public toilet. The view of light house and the sea is fantastic. There is a beach on its way to have a nice break. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing here. It’s a great place with tables on it’s entrance for a short break and a snack/coffee. It never fails to amaze us in our every trip.

Stunning views of the lighthouse and the sea as you walk along this coastal path. The walk starts at a little car park with a small picnic area. The track is narrow and you have to wait to let approaching walkers pass. There are lots of places to do this and you get a cherry hello from most people as they pass. There are lots of places to stop and sit and enjoy the view as you progress. The loop back to the village is just over 5k and easy going all the way or you can turn back asking the path at any time.

A stunning trip! Also suitable for children. A stunning route along the sea, on the cliff. Lots of blooms all around. We took the circular blue route and went down through the village, it was long and not so comfortable. It is better to return on the same route on the cliff. Don't miss going down to the beach, it's fun to go there with the kids too.

This was a great hike! Because we had to wait for lost luggage from Air France (not a fan!) We did the hike the day after it was sunny. Even with the rain, the hike was beautiful! Wear comfortable hiking shoes (weather proof/goretex if it's raining). The views were all amazing and you should try to make it to the stranded shipwreck!

Went during weekday, so there wasn't much crowd. 1) There is one parking which is near to the entrance but only few cars can be parked there. Another car park about 150 meters from the entrance. We can park there also. No parking fee 2) There are no restroom. 3) The entire walk down the cliff is easy and you can reach the end in 40 minutes and there will be small beach where you can swim. 4) You can't use strollers or wheel chair. 5) There are few restaurants in the town to get the food. 6) There were many kids who were walking so it is okay for kids also. 7) They have placed many chairs where we can sit and enjoy the view.

Did the entire walk from Ballycotton to Ballyandreen. It’s just amazing and so scenic. Really beautiful. But not recommended to do it on a rainy or even wet day because the mud is heavy and can be dangerous. I’d recommend to always wear appropriate shoes to reduce risk of getting hurt.

Loved visiting the cliffs and the beach. Met a resident at the beginning of our walk. He was very friendly and provided some helpful tips and interesting information on the area. The walk can be as long as you want it to be. We did not have the time or the stamina to do the full walk, but enjoyed the walk.

I have to say I can't figure out how I haven't come to the Ballycotton Cliff Walk sooner! It is a brilliant spot to go for a few km walk with friends or family. The views are truely spectacular and its only a short drive from Cork City.

Nice and easy walk for all. Nothing too fancy but worth the trip. Worth picking a nice day so the ground isn't too wet. Good set up at the start with plenty of parking. There are some nice places to stop and sit if needed and areas where you can pop down to the beach area and have a picnic.

From a visually breathtaking experience, I couldn't find it more picturesque. The foot path could use a bit more rocks to help with the mud as it can be quite muddy and slippery.

Lovely walk for 1h30 max. Too bad the pubs and restaurants were not open for lunch during the week. There’s parking and playground for kids.

Gorgeous walk. Trail is unpaved and muddy, so be sure to come prepared with good solid shoes. Walk is a good length too, beautiful scenery but a touch windy

Beautiful walk along the ocean. The view and scenery are just spectacular. Highly recommend! I've been there many times and still enjoy each walk I take. You can walk a long way, if you wanted to.

Easily accessible from Ballycotton, this trail is well maintained and suitable for people of any age group. Make sure that you supervise children at all times. There are a number of parking spots available, however on a weekend or on a bank holiday, these spots may be taken up easily. Have your wet gear and walking boots with you as rain can turn the path very muddy.

The views are beautiful! Please also watch out for snails so you don't accidentally step on one.

Fabulous visit for the whole family. Not for faint of heart as a literal cliff walk with very natto paths but a view that is so worth the visit. Not a lot of parking available so arrive early. There is a small playground and some picnic tables available. I didn't see anybrestroom facilities. There are no fees to enter or park.

Very beautiful walk close to the sea. Would recommend proper shoes and a rain coat.

The walk is 6km one way from Ballycotton to ballyandreen beach. You can take the same way back or do a loop walk through rural roads which leads to Cush. Gorgeous views along the way. You can also walk a bit further and see a shipwreck by ballyandreen beach.

Haven't completed the whole walk yet but from what I have done I can say it is nothing short of amazing. Also, on my travels I stumbled upon my new favourite beach in Ireland, which I never expected to happen as I initially thought it was just cliffs. The beach here is beautiful and the locals were super friendly. Could not recommend this place more πŸ’š

If it's windy or sunny it's great to walk along the side of the cliffs
