Fabulous drive up to the lighthouse. That's an experience in itself.. stunning views everywhere you look. Nice cafe and gift shop there too.

Great place to visit if you're in the area on holiday. Cheap entry costs and very informative staff especially the gent at top of the lighthouse. Climbed the 100+ stairs and was actually allowed outside of the lens room and onto the walkway at top. Spectacular views, even tho it was misty was able to see across to the Isle of Man and Ireland.

We didn't know until we arrived that you can actually go to the top of the lighthouse. 115 steps but you can get your breath back while enjoying the fantastic view! Guides are very knowledgeable. There are further displays at ground level - all interesting. (There is a nice cafe off the car park but it's not dog friendly and only 2 outside tables are shielded from the wind.)

What an amazing few hours we had here We turned up and it was absolutely lashing down with rain couldn't see a thing, So we had a coffee and some cakes from the on site cafe, (the café isn't expensive) i was expecting to have my pockets turned inside out tbh, any way within 30 mine all rain was gone and it was a lovely day, the old boys who run the museum are absolutely brilliant couldn't ask for a better service from them

Amazing place and the views are spectacular. Quite busy. We climbed the lighthouse (reasonably priced) and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and told us about the interesting history. I don't think you could spend all day here but it's worth the visit!

[TRIP 30.05.2023] We were there visiting the place in the lovely blue sky day. Nice place for looking out to the horizon and empty the busy head!

Fantastic views that left me humbled at how small we all are. There's so much nature around, stunning scenery and information about the lighthouse.
