Great classic old school pub now does great food as well. Traditional music and great Guinness. There's a shop and it's most lightly that this pub is as old as the town itself.

delicious food. Had the curry! Also they have a free juke box. What more could you want. Was there with my dad, brother, sister in law and 3 small nieces. All felt very welcome and we had a great night. Also the only place I know of where you drink behind the counter of the shop and roll out of there at 11 with sausages and a loaf of bread for the breakfast!!!!

Killeen's Savoury Fare. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. The food was very good and we will certainly be taking friends and family back there.

Was disappointed with my meal, requested half rice half chips with my stroganoff but it was refused in the kitchen and the poor waitress only told me when we were paying that she was so busy she never had time to let me know that kitchen refused. First time there and my last. Over priced too

A real hidden gem, we were so lucky to find it. We came back after months, and we'll definitely come again in the future. We also got a small present from the owner... That was just so kind and unexpected! Things that really come from the heart, thank you!

We stopped for lunch in the recommendation of the guide at Clonmacnoise and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the place. Friendly and efficient service, generous helping and delicious food (soup, steak and chips in particular). We recommend Killeens

First visit to Killeens since it reopened. Delighted to see they haven't lost its original charm. There are booths if you want to have a quiet drink. Food was excellent. Work is ongoing outside, will be fantastic in the Summer.

We had Breakfast here, absolutely fantastic flavours and really good quality food. Staff were so friendly especially the American lady! Priced very reasonably for such great food. Well be back. The only criticism I'll give is maybe some vegetarian options but you can customise so not a massive issue :)

My wife and I ate at Kileens - Savoury Fare on 12th Nov. It was our first and won't be the last. We had eaten a large brunch earlier in the day so we opted for lighter meals. I had the seafood chowder and my wife the soup. My chowder was complimented by two nice thick slices of Guiness & treacle bread. The chowder was flavoursome, creamy and had lots of meaty chunks of fish. Some muscles, prawns and calamari would have been a nice addition to the chowder but for €8.50 and given our Midlands location I'm not complaining. My wife's soup was delicious and also came with the obligatory soda bread. All the staff we encountered were polite, patient and helpful. Given how busy the pub and restaurant was I'd say it's a local and visitor favourite. We'll be back.

A local gem with the most friendly and welcoming people that are truly reflective of the strong values in the Shannonbridge community. Great laughs and conversation. Food and snacks are always made readily available. Amazing decor that seems more like an interactive historic museum.

Set up tables for us in shop area which was fascinating! Everything from longjohns, cornflakes, homemade jam to fishing gear for sale. Quirky pub/shop with perfect pints of Guinness. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Fun bar games (T puzzle). Thanks for an entertaining evening!

Good service in the bar ,the restaurant however could do with a bit organisation a bit slow when ordering after saying that they are courteous & smiley so that’s why I give them the 5 stars. I had vegateran stir fry which was absolutely super & my party had chicken burger & fish & chips all of which was super . Can highly recommend this establishment for drink & food 👍
