Old Courtallam Falls, my favourite place to hangout and have a great shower. The water itself has a lot of medicinal value as it passes through lot of herbs and medicinal plants. You must try the oil massage before you take a shower, it’s a bit of relaxation to the Muscles.

I don't need to tell about this place because it is the place which has the best reviews because it so much.......... Famous it courtllam there are many I will say it one by one first is five falls there is only one falls but it will be divided into five parts that's why it is called as five falls and another name is old courtllam ok thats a two hundred words so we can meet in a another nice review...........................

Best waterfalls among the familiar one in Coutralam located 7kms away from the town between Coutralam Nagercoil road. Opens throughout the day and night with police volunteers. You can have pleasant satisfied bath as very less crowded in this place.Public maintaining cleanliness in this place. Dress changing rooms available for ladies. Parking place is far away from the falls. You need to walk 1km or get some auto in shared basis. Buses also available every 30mins from Coutralam only day time. Mens with shorts is mandatory.

I’ve been to this place after many years… felt really good. They have got changing rooms and toilets.. Good enough parking space. Food stalls are affordable for all. Even in week days it is busy. Not too much crowded. Had wonderful weather luckily.. and water flow was good enough to make everyone happy.. Pros: * water flow was good * toilet availability * changing room * parking available for 2 & 4 wheeler even for bus and vans. * food available Cons: * people mess place throwing waste * beware of monkeys

The Old falls is around 8km from the Main falls Courtallam . The way to the falls is very beautiful with forested mountains and green blossoming rice fields Good time to visit - 6 to 8am Do not miss to enjoy the shower under the falls DO NOT USE PARKING AREA which is near to food court, you'll see huge space on the right side under the trees while visiting the falls.

Great place, Very crowded due to season start. Wonderful experience. Separate place for bath for ladies, gents, and kids . Go and enjoy with your family and friends

Most recommended falls to take a hard shower in Coutrallam. Of all the 3 falls the old coutrallam is the comparatively less crowded than the main falls & five falls. I recommend one to first visit the main and five falls then come to the old falls to bath id time permits, or else go straight to the old falls and have a great time. The roads are nicer and ample parking space for both bike and car. Best time to visit is winters. After a good shower, head to Sengottai and have a fest in border porotta kadai.

Good place to take bath in water fall. Not much crowd. The way to fall is very vibrant through tree tunnels. Parking also very good

Located at an Distance of 8KM From Main Falls, This is a 24 Hours Waterfall and Free Entry! 30 Years Back The Falls Was Flowing Directly From The Top with Heavy Flow and later Steps were carved to reduce th water speed! You can still see the steps on the waterfalls! Has change rooms for women!

Good experience here.. But on season Saturday Sundays fully crowded.. Check water level on tamilnadu govt website before visit.. Have to walk 1 km to falls... Paid restrooms available here..

3rd most important falls as of now. Less crowd compared to other main falls. Parking and changing rooms are available

Good place for families and bachelors. It's less crowded when I visit due to unseason otherwise over crowd will be here.
