👍👍 Amazing Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food! This restaurant is super cozy and cute, with kind efficient service. We were SUPER satisfied with our meals - pho and a chicken fried rice for entrees and egg roll for appetizer. The egg roll was the biggest surprise - WOW that was good! The flavor... Amazing Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food! This restaurant is super cozy and cute, with kind efficient service. We were SUPER satisfied with our meals - pho and a chicken fried rice for entrees and egg roll for appetizer. The egg roll was the biggest surprise - WOW that was good! The flavor was rich and complex. I love that they add the wood ear mushrooms, and topped with the sauce was phenomenal! We will definitely be back! Our only complaint was the kitchen is a bit dirty, and unfortunately we could see from our seat! Check out my IG @dcfoodlife for more food recs in the DC area!

This place is awful. Not only do they have rats and touch your ready to eat food with barehands! But we caught them prepping food outside on the ground even letting the chicken drop on the ground and pick it back up! I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here! You may get sick! The vegetarian Pho is really good! The root veggies added a nice touch to the soup. Only thing I wished is if it were hotter. But after 3 days of travel from Houston on Amtrak this was such a welcome meal. Service was nice and quick.

Very kind and hospitable staff. I liked the Pho. Pictured is the seafood Pho or the Pho Hai San. The decor was pretty cool, also pictured. The Vietnamese coffee was delicious (pictured). I'm the valiant type that can have espresso at 8PM. Well worth it! The Thai Iced Tea wasn't too flavorful and could've used some sugar. I think they were understaffed because it took a long while to get the check. It was also closing time and you pay at the bar. I'm sure that had something to do with it. They stop seating at 8.

Very disappointing. The restaurant's floors are dirty, they messed up an order and were resistant to fixing it (although they did, eventually). The food isn't very good, and has a strange after taste. Adding insult to injury, there is a smoke detector with a low battery beeping over our heads every 30 seconds (the sort of thing you'd think the staff would take care of, but here we are...). 2 stars because the shrimp summer rolls are good. But I will not be returning. There are much better Vietnamese restaurants in DC.

I grew up in a place with a large Vietnamese community and the Bun Bo Hue here really hit home. The price and the quantity of food you get is beyond generous, and the service was fantastic. Have a hot bowl of noodles with a cold glass of beer and enjoy! :)

I’m super sad writing this review. This used to be my favorite local pho restaurant. During my last visit the bathroom soap dispenser was empty. After alerting the restaurant they needed to refill the dispenser in the bathroom I was told the restaurant was completely out of soap. This news was distressing as a customer (I have to eat dinner with poop on my hands?) — but my heart sank further when I realized: the restaurant staff also wasn’t washing their hands. The people preparing our food were using the bathroom and going right back to handling food. I hate writing bad reviews, especially for small businesses, but not having soap available in a restaurant for customers or staff is unacceptable.

The bahn mi with lemongrass chicken is tremendous, and it comes with a delicious veggie soup to catch all of the bread bits. Have also had the pho and is very good. They make a star anise tea here that might be the greatest chaser in all of DC.

The best tasting egg rolls I have ever eaten. Crispy and flaky and flavorful. This place should be swarming with customers. I had the lunch special that included an egg roll, a spring roll and a huge bowl of pho. Then I went back the next day for an order of egg rolls.

My partner and I both ordered N13 (if I recall), beef pho. We were alarmed because upon first taste it was apparent chicken stock or powder was used, and the dish itself tasted nothing like pho. After a couple more bites it became clear that something was not right, as it tasted overwhelmingly of chicken powder or Costco chicken stock and like beef powder was added as an afterthought. It was also very oily, unlike any pho we ever had, and left us feeling heavy after a few bites. We decided to give this place a chance despite some negative reviews, and I myself am from California where there’s lots of good pho so I am familiar with what it tastes like… this is not it. We left about 20-25 minutes ago, and my partner feels sick like he used to after having maruchan instant chicken ramen in college which I believe confirms our theory some powder is being used. It certainly was not due to msg (if they use it), as we use it fairly frequently in our own cooking. We could only take a couple bites before we left, but the service is fine and the place is clean and has a nice casual atmosphere.

I’ve been here five times — it’s a cheap takeout option and always easy to sit down, but food leaves something to be desired. Not the best Vietnamese food I’ve had, and service is often slow and unapologetic. Pros: Cheap, easy, comfort food, great takeout option, never too crowded Cons: not great service, food is on the bland side

I must say, I’m quite disappointed. Can’t talk about the in person experience at this place, but I just ordered a huge meal on Uber Eats and they didn’t even bother to read my request. I’m extremely allergic to onions and wrote that in caps, as everyone can see. This is what they sent me. I tried calling several times, but they don’t pick up the phone. Not ordering here anymore.

I'm so sorry, I have to say the food is not good at all. Bun bo hue : -100000 / 10 . Don't sell the food that you are not good at it. Vermicelli with sautee beef or whatever: 0/10 Sandwich: 7/10 . The chicken soup is good. They took so long to cook. By the time I was there, they had 2 tables. Staff friendly.

Very good Pho place. I was looking for a place during the lunch hour. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The pho was awesome. I would go there again.

N11 Bun Bo Hue... delicious... You'll be satisified from start to finish. This was my girst time breaking away from my favorite; Veggie Pho. The restaurant is always clean, the owner is always smiling and the hand painted decorations are inviting.

On the pricier side of what I'm used to for pho, but it's a solid bowl for DC (if a bit oily), as opposed to making the trek for pho 75 lol. They also have pretty limited options for pho meats compared to other places I've been to. No tendons or tripes options :(. They also didn't have bean sprouts. They "ran out". Is there a bean sprout shortage I don't know about!?

The restaurant has very poor service. They’re always understaffed and its is a hit or miss if the staff is pleasant. The tables are always dirty and have often left unattended with used dinning-ware and food. There are often flys or inspect in the facility. However, the pho broth is consistent and the music is pleasant. Guess you have to take the good with the bad. There are no other local pho restaurants nearby and I think that is why their facility is tolerated. I hope they improve.

Highly underrated Vietnam restaurant for pho, real authentic. House pho is a must order!
