The house has a great panoramic view over Mosterios village and is 3h-3h30 hiking distance (at a slow pace) through the coffee fields and eucalyptus forest to see the magnificent volcano (the hot shower afterwards was more than welcomed!). The food reminds you of the meals from home, made with fresh fish and vegetables (everyday we saw the neighborhood children bringing the vegetables), delicious homemade cakes and yummy honey ponche :) And the hosts are so lovely! they bring so much joy and energy and make you feel at home. We've spent hours talking with them and we definitely did the best choice renting the room here and not in Cha das Caldeiras
