Nice little restaurant hidden inside ai walkway. Caribbean dishes. Well presented. 3 course me he cost £27. as of January 2023. The owner Jan is lovely. The desserts were great and there was a good selection. I would definitely recommend. Excellent value.

Delicious food, an open fire and wonderful host & chef (Jan and Michael you are both are so lovely). Honestly such a great find, and nicely priced especially for 3 courses. Do yourself a favour and get yourself here for a meal!

A great place to eat in the Jewellery Quarter. Jan is a wonderful host, chatty, informative, and obviously passionate about the food. Its like going for dinner at her house! Really good food, the jerk chicken was the best I'd had in Birmingham. Recommend all round!

Tiny little restaurant hidden away... Well worth discovering... Never really tried Caribbean restaurants previously, and this was excellent... Had the meat sharing platter to start and oxtail stew... Spice was beautiful, and so flavorsome..!!! My wife had prawns and red snapper... Equally delicious... Highly recommend this place... Drinks were awesome also.. thank you Jan.. ❤️❤️

Food was nice and cocktails great! Friendly service. We shared the platter, goat curry (really good!), chicken in brown sauce (okay). Our gripe was the trio of patties. It was 1 cut into 3 pieces, not worth paying nearly £8. The bill for 3 of us came to over £100 which was quite a shock. Also to use the toilet you need to go outside into the cold and across the small alley.

A well-hidden gem of a place. Booked for lunch. Delicious coconut chicken and jerk chicken burger, and the "arctic roll" (the name doesn't do this desert justice) was amazing! Really friendly service too.

Went as a group of 5 on a Saturday evening. It’s a tiny place, and tucked away, so make sure you have directions! We all had their 3 course menu which was a bargain at £27 (although we ruined that bargain by then adding numerous rum cocktails to the tab!) Food was really tasty and there was a good range to choose from - main takeaway from the evening though was the wonderful friendly service. Would recommend anyone to give it a try. I’m not local but would be happy to go back if I ever find myself in Birmingham again.

The food and service was 5 Star. I love Jamaican food and being a Jamaican myself I can be fussy when it comes to eating out. The flavours was mind blowing tasty, I had jerk chicken bites and chips and my daughter had the curry goat and rice both was cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly. I will be returning to dine here💌

Great place to enjoy some brilliant food. Really attentive and relaxing. Made for a lovely evening. Oxtail, curry goat, mixed starters, desserts and rums were all excellent.

A delightful lunch here today. Lovely surroundings, very relaxed, Very clean and cosy. One meat eater, one vegetarian and one vegan. All catered for with freshly cooked, wholesome food. Highly recommended.

This place needs a bit of a revamp. It is aldo a little cramped for our patty of 8. I had the escovich fish, to be honest it was a bit disappointing. I expected the fish to be seasoned up with onions pepper and the trimmings, but it was ok but not what I was expecting. The food was good and service too. The drinks seemed a little light on the alcohol content. They had no card machine, which was a bit inconvenient, but the cashpoint was not too far away. Parking was good managed to park more or less outside.

Hidden gem No seriously this is a hidden gem among the gold and diamonds of the jewelry quarter. It's not the most obvious restaurant as it's hidden down the side passage of a shop. Entering you get the feel of a small little home in Jamaica and welcomed as if you were family by the staff, like stepping into your grandma's for dinner. When finding places like this most people stick to something obvious like a burger or something and chips, STOP !!!!! ask for their recommendations and take your taste buds on an adventure of flavour and you won't regret it. We didn't. I had rice and beans with jerk pork, it was all cooked to perfection, sometimes you can get pork and it's been over cooked and it's drier than biltong. NOT THIS PLACE, the pork cut perfectly and melts in your mouth like butter. My wife had jerk chicken and the meat fell off the bone, I snuck a bit and it was complemented by the sauce. The one thing that BLEW OUR MINDS was the cornbread, now that was amazing, bursting with flavour and left us wanting more, I literally mean that, after our visit we went everywhere to hunt for some to enjoy at home. The selection of food is just enough, not too much that the chefs are overwhelmed but most of the menu is home made and it shows, the flavour is there. I cannot fault anything at this restaurant. Get yourself down there and enjoy a piece of Jamaica, with the friendliest family atmosphere, most of all treat your taste buds.

Found through a recommendation, and it matched our expectations. It wasn't easy to find, tucked away down an alley, but well worth the trip. It is best to male a reservation to avoid being disappointed. Service is spot on, warm, and welcoming. Food is lovely, traditional with a selection of homemade makes which can be taken away. Would I recommend 🤔 - definitely 😀

What a fantastic restaurant! Cosy, warm, friendly, but best of all the most flavoursome food we’ve ever tasted. This is home cooked Caribbean food at its best! We came across this restaurant by chance and this will be the first of many visits for us.
