Absolute joke. I ordered a pumpkin spiced Late with cream and almond milk. Low and behold there was NO CREAM or coffee in my drink just syrup and cows milk. Plus my brothers coffee was half full. He ordered his drink after me and somehow was waiting for another 5 minutes. The service is a joke and very slow considering people have trains to catch. I will be getting compensated for this

Went for a casual coffee…… ordered whipped cream on top which the staff forgot, when I reminded her she very rudely told me that i have to pay as stuff like these are not free. when i told that i am a regular here and of course i did she kept the coffee mug without even a glance. Me and my friends are brown so they very conveniently believed that we might not know about such coffee houses….the staff i am talking about is a female named Ayesha

Appalling service!!! Young Barristas more interested in talking to each other rather than looking after customers and making a decent coffee. Latte etc shot i guess they forgot to add coffee was vile! Plenty of other coffee shops on the station I recommend pick one of those. Even wrote to customer service surprisingly i heard nothing

Terrible experience here. The lady who served me was rude and wrote down a complete wrong drink that caused me to miss my train because I had to return and complain. She didn’t write down oat milk or vanilla even though she charged me it. So now I have been bed bound all day sick because I drank cows milk which I am allergic to. She was unsympathetic and rude. I am such a loyal Starbucks customer but I after this I definitely won’t be returning to the birmingham new street branch.

Paid with cash,thought nothing of it until I went to the next shop and tried to pay with my change from this shop.The member of staff told me she couldn't accept the Scottish note.I went back to Starbucks where they refused to take it back???? Despite GIVING it to me but went onto tell me it was legal tender!!! Legal tender that they wouldn't accept???? RIDICULOUS

long que but staff working very fast there. Starbuck like always delocious coffee good place in the middle of station. I jumped of for coffee from platform so easy when I was waitting for my train.

Friendly and polite staff. However it did put me off because homeless people came inside and started begging me for drinks and people for money. Was a good location outside the station but not with those people hanging around.

I am writing this due to experience. I ordered coffee and put some sugar and vanilla in. The lid did not go on and it spilt and scolded my right hand. This took hours to cool down. I told the employee as I spilt coffee too. She put her head back and looked as though she was fed up of having to clean the coffee. I was upset with her response. I had scolded my hand and she did not show any compassion. It hurt and became swollen. I sought help elsewhere. The coffee was awful and so was the chocolate twist. Really unhappy with my trip to Starbucks.

A lovely Starbucks, very convenient and central but there weren’t many tables indoors. Thankfully it was a beautiful day so I was able to sit outside instead.

Just stop by there and have one of Xmas selections: Gingerbread latte. Cold creamy top with crisp of gingerbread on the top of hot latte. I like it but if you are after just coffee latte, I wouldn't recommend that as taste a bit different and sweety.

Popped in today for my usual and the guy at the till was so lovely. When he passed me my croissant he complimented my hair colour as well which was so nice. There’s not enough people spreading positivity and just being kind these days but thought this was so lovely. All the staff are genuinely very nice and always a good atmosphere despite it forever being busy! (Sign of a good spot).

I stopped coming to this branch a while back after the lacklustre service and taste in comparable to other branches. However, Zem or Prezem (not sure how to say his name) from this store has restored my faith that there are people who understand the requirements of a customer. Friendly, polite, excellent manners, attentive and first class service. Give this man a raise.

A bit chaotic as I went during Gay Parade time, but everyone was great. Maybe put some arrows on the floor? I noticed too many customers over the 1 hour that I was there were always queuing on the left. You all kept saying wrong side. Arrows on floor, great idea. :(

Jess made the perfect ones draining fir me and I’m so fussy. I have it double blended extra ice with anyone pumper caramel and she got it perfect. Customer service was lovely and a pleasure to deal with. I recognise Jess has been a wonderful worker and like to thank her for my perfect drink and service at new Street, Birmingham

Really perfect services by the legend guy have a name Liam, absolutely give a brilliant reputation for that place ...I advice any one around of the world who visit Birmingham City drink a good cafe from the gold hand mr LIAM👉❤️

a small branch at the train station. There are counter seating areas inside and 5-6 table seating areas outside. The contiguous area is narrow. There are accessory stands. There are throwaway options. There are dessert options. There are coffee options. Usually the ball. Especially when the trains are empty, there is a queue.

Starbucks needs to be rooved in a nicer place. It needs to move to a place with more space and more seats facing the street, not just small tables packed underground. It was a bad experience to have my coffee beneath the earth!

Rainy day Had dog with me sitting outside told come inside dog is very welcome. The atmosphere was excellent. Service was very good. Worth going in. That was the first time I was inside any Starbucks. Will be returning.

Great service, I ordered via mobile 40 seconds before arriving. My order was made very quickly without quality being sacrificed. Cute little area for mobile orders which helps awkward people like myself as I could just wait in that area for my drink.

Love the atmosphere of the floor below, warm ambient lighting. Cozy and not too crowded. Finally had their matcha latte (without syrup), you can really taste the matcha. Compared to Pret, I’d say this matcha latte is better.

used to be a joint to hang around with my bros after uni. now crowded with disgusting ignorant rich people who think the world belong to them 👎🏽

Got my whole order wrong and got overcharged had to ask for that back after one of the staff was trying to argue with me saying he gave the stuff I wanted. He was in the wrong as I paid for it and coming at me for something which staff where in the wrong. Gave me a mocha hot white chocolate instead of the normal hot chocolate and gave me a cake slice instead of a shortcake. Never coming back to this branch again avoid!!

Stopped for a coffee and bite to eat. Food was delicious, had a warm almond Croissant with a latte 🤤 It was very busy but we found somewhere to sit. We were downstairs, loos were downstairs, but had to go ask staff upstairs the code to open the toilet.

I went for the first time with my husband and due to poor health I fainted, George was working that day and he was very supportive and kind. He called 999 and offered drinks and chocolates to make me feel better. I was really impressed by the staff. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. Definitely going again!!

I have to constantly correct them about my order bare in mine my order is never that hard, seriously I’ll order chai latte and they forget to put any chai in. More interested in work banter and talking and forgetting loads of peoples orders. The que went from 2 to 10 So quickly, hardly any room to stand. Basically chaotic and clumsily staff.

The staff attitude is not professional in this store. I do a good job in keeping up a performance but it’s all false. All they are after is your money. Staff are rude, abrupt and bad mannered. They have a clever way of asking questions which I find unusual. The employees seem they have some hidden agendas. Starbucks are employing the wrong people. Customer service is one of the worst I have come across in most Starbucks stores. This one is the worst. For there prices and bad atmosphere no it’s a no go. No more Starbucks!

Came from here earlier and the lady put the buttercream of the red velvet cake at the bottom !!! Its ruined the cake now and have no buttercream, very frustrated, was meant to be a nice snack. Starbucks can something be done?

I come to Starbucks Grand central nearly every morning and receive lovely customer service where the staff remember my name and give me a big smile (Saima) and another gentleman who also kindly also puts the cardboard protector so I don’t burn my hands however TODAY - I was served by someone who was rude - I asked if I could add a pump of vanilla to my coffee, before I had paid, and she said “Ive already put it through so no” which shocked me and then I stood to the side waiting and she thrus down the coffee at the till and left it there without having the courtesy to let me know I could take it and also I burnt my hand because unlike her colleagues she didn’t put on the cardboard protector but I was running to catch a train so couldn’t even go back. Disgusted and disappointed.

Ample amount of space to get some work done and the view is great. Staff is friendly too.

Great place to get coffee from, Sai and the other staff are always so polite and efficient with the orders. Highly recommend
