Disguised!! How is this place even allowed animals?!? Whole place unkeeped and dirty. Animals kept in horrible conditions. 2 rabbits kept in a indoor pen not even big enough to house one properly. No readily available food or water for the small variety of animals they did have. (Sheep, goats a pony n a pig). When was this last inspected? Old piles of trash, metal and furniture just left around. Unsafe for children to explore. I really hope these animals get saved and find somewhere they will be looked after properly! Will never be returning and will be looking about how to report the poor welfare of these animals.

Farm is permanently closed. Needs updating. Drove all that way for it to be closed. Hopefully people see this review and don't waste their time travelling there.

Someone could kindly update the hours/days of the farm being opened as today for example was closed . I wasted my time + had my kids crying in the car whole way. Happened few months ago during the week day, too. Disappointing

I've got mixed feelings about today's visit. On the one hand you had a wonderful place to take young kids to see some animals and run about the play area. On the other, the up keep and maintenance of the site was not up to expected standards. The staff were all very friendly and polite. And the soft play and toys were lots of fun for our oldest. But had to keep an extra eye on our youngest because of poor cleanliness. It is a real shame because this site has a lot of potential. There are a fair amount of safety hazards including protruding and rusty edges. General poor cleanliness. Exposed caravan battery. But with all the negatives mentioned, our boys loved it. I feel if the safety and cleanliness was addressed we'll be returning regularly.

I'm really sorry to say our afternoon out at Bromey croft farm was very disappointing. Its very run down, untidy, unkept and seems unsafe in area of the farm and children's play areas. The animals were escaping their pens into neighbouring pens, and lots of goats cramped in one very small space, that wasn't very well put together. Some cages/enclosures seem very small. The toilets needed a really good clean as well as the picnic area. The cafe stopped serving food at 3pm which was a little disappointing but was clean tidy and a very friendly service. If I'm honest the only positive experience was the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's such a shame this farm needs help, I felt our £20 entry for four was money wasted and unfortunately we deffinetly will not be returning. The only reason we didn't complain on site and request a refund was the staff being so nice.

A pretty awful experience to be honest. The outside looked very messy and untidy and we thought give it the benefit of the doubt and inside will be fine we were so wrong. Whilst the people running it are fairly friendly and kind enough. The animals seem in such a poor state, having worked with lots of the animals they had on site at other farms in our lives, you can tell they truly aren’t giving them what is needed. The sheep and goats had all there and no cake bays, no food or hay or fresh grass just nettles which is no good for them and the bunnies and guinea pigs were all squished with no running space at all and the pens looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for months. The rest of the place was a health hazard, chains everywhere, scrap metal dumped, wires hanging out of the caravan, sewerage bubbling up out the ground behind the toilets and sharp ends on the fences as well as some of them electrocuted but no signs anywhere. It’s certainly needs someone with there health and safety head on to get down there and sort it as it has so much potential and you can see what there trying to achieve even if it’s not really working for them. We stayed half an hour and promptly left. Hopeful we can return when they get it all sorted and safer. Happy to share knowledge or volunteer to get it safe and the animals better look after with the right food and grass and I’m sure more local people would be too!

Lovely experience for my 1yr old granddaughter. Helpful staff. We went at a quiet time today (Sunday). Hand washing facilities available and toilets. Great little farm for your younger children. Lovely food and service from the staff at the Granary Tea Rooms.
