Rather pathetic stock availability on tools. The service here though is almost non existent. So casual and laid back and what more bizarre the staff have not a clue. Ask a simple question - where would I find draught exclusion tape - huh?? What’s that? Ok never mind. Surely you must have general knowledge about DIY or some trade so you can assist customers or am I expecting too much? Other items looked like the stock is well kept. But tools stock is just non existent. Oh and the car park. It will ruin your shocks, wheels and your spine.

Not the best service, will not be returning either. i have been in here at least 100 times over the years and you can never get any help. When you do ask only a handful of staff are aware of the products, it's always best for me to ask the security guard who always points out staff. Wickes clearly uses a very tight wage budget to keep their costs low hence why you can never find any staff. Quite ridiculous to be honest. I now go to Selco, ask a member of staff what you're after and they're more than willing to help.

Went into today to click and collect, couldn’t collect item because a PIN code was not sent, . I was waiting to be served by sales assistant, but she couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge me and served two customers who came afterwards so then I joined the other till to be served by another sales assistant. !

Normally well stocked and easy to navigate. Staff helpful if you can find one. However often queues are unnecessarily long with only one till open. Parking only 90 minutes else £100 fine - parking monitored by G24

Extremely helpful young lady with a scarf. I believe her name is Alisha. Whenever I go, she is always super helpful , if I cannot locate anything in store she goes above and beyond to find stock for me. Always smiling and cheerful.

Short Asian lady, wears a scarf and headset, didn't know what her name was. Extremely rude. I asked her for some help and she goes "im with someone" and walked off. No one forced you to work there, learn basic customer service skills before applying for the job. Pathetic

I went to Wickes to purchase some fence panel paint but after extensive checks on shelves throughout the store, was unable to find what I was looking for. Feeling disappointed, I was ready to leave the store, but was pointed in the direction of Mohammed Faizan. He insisted that I stay and provided assurances that he'd do his best to try and locate the paint. Mohammed immediately withdrew himself from his work activity and gave me his undivided attention, spending some considerable time helping me to source the paint. Mohammed was patient, professional, attentive and genial throughout our conversation. Thanks Mohammed for making my journey worthwhile and I look forward to returning to the store and receiving the same great service from you and your colleagues in the future.
