What
an
experience!
The
Old
Windmill
public
house
oozes
atmosphere
and
it
is
a
MUST
if
you
are
near
Coventry
city
centre.
A
clue
that
this
pub
is
very
old
starts
with
the
outside
appearance.
Once
you
are
inside
the
pub's
age
becomes
more
obvious.
Quaint
rooms
.
.
.
not
one
of
them
identical,
ancient
oak
beams,
blackened
by
the
passage
of
time.
One
of
the
vertical
beams
is
a
tree
around
which
the
pub
was
built.
Get
this,
The
Old
Windmill
was
built
in
1451,
thirty
four
years
before
the
end
of
the
Plantagenet
era.
Interestingly,
there
is
a
priests
hole
tucked
into
the
side
of
one
of
the
old
fireplaces.
Now,
down
to
other
things.
There
is
a
great
selection
of
beers,
wine
and
spirits.
Grub
is
on-hand
too.
This
public
house
is
a
must.
Do
try
it,
there
is
parking
close
by,
you
will
definitely
not
be
disappointed!
