Just had lunch here and absolutely loved it. Quality steak, cooked exactly how we wanted it and a decent size too. No skimping on the trimmings, we particularly liked the tomato and even took the chips home with us as they were fab but we just couldn’t get through everything. All in all, two steaks with all the trimmings and an extra side of onion rings came to £50. Service was fab too. We’ll definitely be back.

Food was ok, staff are really nice and really polite. Service a little slow, but that was not a problem as we were not in a rush, however I would not return, but not because of the food. A table opposite us had 3 babies with them, which is not a problem until one of the mothers thought it was acceptable to change the babies nappy at the dinning table, this is not Artisans fault however, the staff did see this and nothing was said to the lady, I personally think changing a nappy at a dinner table in a restaurant is disgusting and I think it is the staffs responsibility to address this and ask the parent to do that in the baby changing facilities provided. At that point I’m glad I had eaten my main, and just wanted to leave. Artisan cannot control what people think is acceptable, but they should address unacceptable unhygienic behaviour when it happens rather than ignore it in my opinion.

Beer here several times over the years and not really impressed the building itself is pretty but it seems to be under utilised. The menu is limited and not very impressive and somewhat expensive too. it has a decent outside rooftop area

Went for our staff team Christmas meal. Couldn't fault the food or service from when we arrived to when we left. The beef in particular was outstanding. The member of our group who was gluten free was also well looked after. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a tremendous evening and the place was indeed the reason for this happy meeting. The crew helped in a very nice way, the cooking was delicious and my buddies were extremely overjoyed. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Went for our Anniversary, so a special occasion. Absolutely love this restaurant food excellent, not an extensive menu but what they have is fabulous and cooked beautifully. Staff friendly and welcoming, choice of drinks especially gin is fantastic, over 200 types. Have been many times, never disapoints

Good quality food. Around £60 for two with drinks. Only thing, if you a beer lover , don’t expect a big choice of good beer or IPA, could be better choice…

If you are looking for a good steak in Coventry, here is the place. Really quality meat and the sticky toffee pudding is amazing too. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was just standard, a bit overpriced, horrible service I paid the deposit for 11 people and ended up having 9 people having lunch there. The deposit for the absent 2 people couldn't be deducted from the final bill. That is reasonable but it'd be nice if the staff could let us know upon our arrival instead of us finding out when checking the bill. One weird thing is they only charge a 10% service charge for table of 6 people or more. The girl who took our orders and served the food looked grumpy all the time for some reason... We sat in the room outside the kitchen. All the windows were closed, the room was hot and there was no ventilation. Horrible experience and wouldn't recommend dining here. For the price you're paying you can probably find a place with same quality of food but better service and environment.

Absolutely amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere, my only gripe is the chairs are uncomfortable but I was reassured that they usually have cushions on the chairs. Really can't say how much we all enjoyed this place, a definite 10/10

I must thank the Artisan bar and Grill for accommodating for my needs. My partner took me here - forgetting my vegetarianism, yet the staff were able to make a me a very delicious vegetarian meal consisting of other menu items. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to others.

Fabulous experience for their Sunday roast. Three of us ordered the beef, which was the tenderest I've ever tasted. They will accomodate you, too, if you prefer it to be cooked well-done. Service was excellent and attentive but you must book ahead for Sundays as I witnessed them turning potential customers away due to being fully booked. Great all-round experience in this historic venue.

Amazing meal at the Artisan. I had the Ribeye steak tender as anything, served with chips and Bloody Mary butter was amazing. Eden was so lovely she took my allergies seriously made great recommendations and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this place and if you have the pleasure of getting Eden to serve you will have the best combination of meal and service.

We stopped in here for a meal to break up our 4.5hr journey from Manchester to Guildford and we were not disappointed. These guys know how to cook a steak and season it well! The chips to go with were fantastic and the mushroom was just the cherry on top! Will definitely be stopping by again when we’re in the area!

What a find? Visited the Car Museum and fancied a Sunday Lunch. Short walk away Artisan Bar and Grill. Very good price £25 for a three course meal. Prawn cocktail was delicious, cold and very fresh. Roast beef was literally melt in the mouth. Took my daughter and grandsons 9 and 12. They had the children's meal which was fantastic too. A hidden Gem. Staff were above and beyond. Will definitely be going back.

Went to the restaurant for my birthday and I can honestly say this was quite possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. Cannot fault the service or the food from start to finish a delightful experience in a quality restaurant. We will 100% be returning very soon.

This is one of the best if not the best steak I have eaten in a long time! I would rate it 6 stars out of 5! The service was excellent. The owners Claire and Lee (chef) were very hospitable and we had a good time chatting. I was most thankful that they kept the restaurant opened even after we went in at almost closing time. I would strongly recommend anyone who wants a good steak not to miss out on your restaurant!!!😍

The steak in this place was cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the best cooked steaks I've ever had but unfortunately that's where it ends. The chips was awful, wasn't cooked all the way though and some still hard in the middle, the sauces tasted cheap and the table serves was extremely poor.

The place is cozy; However, the food is not what I expected. The steak is not cooked as how my partner requested, its hard to chew and not well-seasoned. The pork belly is not as crispy as advertised in the menu and its bland.

Lovely place food so tasty Sunday dinner is very nice quality wine very good too.... if they had got cushions on their seats I wud have gave five stars just for the comfort.

Excellent food and the service was top notch, the two girls who served our party of six couldn't have been more attentive. Really great place to eat. Criticism- bit too long wait in-between courses and no wine list available so prevented me giving a 5 unfortunately.

What a lovely evening with great food. My partners birthday. Went as a family. Brilliant that they accommodated my boys with kids meals so they could still enjoy a steak. The normal steaks were excellent. This restaurant is highly recommend. Nicest steak house in Coventry at the moment. Compliments to the chef. 👍

We had Sunday lunch, we were taken to our table, is a really beautiful building very old and full of character. We were shown to our table by a really friendly lady and asked if we wanted drinks. A lovely waitress came took our order. We had a delicious dinner, we couldn't manage dessert. When I asked for the bill they checked we had enjoyed our food and asked to come again. Would highly recommend this restaurant. We had a lovely time.
